This is our new go to place in Cool Springs for Thai food! While service can be on the slower side, you quickly forgive when you get your food and see how fresh and delicious it is. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The food tasted very good. However, I was very disappointed in the quantity of meat (duck) that was included in my drunken noodle meal. I struggled to find three small pieces buried in the noodles. I had to argue with the manager for 15 minutes about it before she finally offered to do something about it. The positive reviews must be left over from the previous management. I'm only giving them three stars because she did finally offer to give me more duck for my meal. You pay extra for the duck and should get at least the same portion as the other meats. read more

Stopped by last night. Me and my ol lady. Upon entering a young lady served us with water that tasted like toilet. Was never asked if we wanted anything to drink. Had the fried tofu to start which was excellent, fried to perfection with delicious sauce. Also had Thai salad which was great as well. We ended up ordering drunken noodles. As soon as she placed the plates on the table there was a strong aroma of a pet farm. I was very confused and taken back by the smell. It was quite nauseating and felt as if I were eating live animals. I've had Thai food numerous times and this was by far the worst drunken noodles I've ever encountered. I tried picking out the meat and just eating noodles but the smell was still potent which left me no choice but to not finish any of it. My ol lady got the tofu drunken noodles and hers smelt just as animalistic as mine. 2 stars for the tofu and salad the rest was a scaring experience. read more

Just got into town, tired and hungry. Looked up this place and it clearly states that they deliver. I call and proceed to place my order for DELIVERY! The person on the other end of the phone clearly in a bad mood simply states " we don't deliver." Looks like someone needs to read, know what they offer or get a new job. read more

I have never written a review but here goes. I used to love this place but something is up. There is a sign on the door that says menu has changed and prices have gone up. The last time I was there is wasn't good but thought it was an off day. Service was very slow, food was not good and the chef apparently decided not to cut the veggies. Almost an entire whole onion in my food!! When I asked the waitress if the owners have changed or something because it was so "off", she replied, "I don't know, I don't work in the kitchen but I have heard that a lot". Then, after 20 more minutes when I was clearly done (and only 3 full table) I had to ask for my check again. When she brought my change, she shorted me the coins and a dollar, ummmm, ok. what happened to this place? My wife and I used to frequent quite often but quality and service has diminished. We hadn't gone in months and decided to go tonight (Saturday). Ordered pho and pad kraw with fried rice. The pho was like warm and overly sweet but edible. The fried rice was eggy and gamey. The pad kraw was watery, overcooked, and flavorless. I honestly don't know what I was even served. When I asked the waitress she admitted that they had a new cook in the back. She was yelling into the kitchen while the other customers could hear and it made me very uncomfortable. Not to mention they turned the open sign off and started putting chairs up at 8:20 pm... that also made us uncomfortable! I refused to pay for the pad kraw and the fried rice but was still charged for the rice. The waitress yelled in the kitchen that I refused to pay. How unprofessional. No apologies from the staff. Will not be returning. Definitely one of my worst dining experiences! read more

Visited this restaurant with my son and daughter-in-law(who is Thai). This place passed the test. She commented on how all the vegetables are fresh cut in the dishes. Of course her standards are very high, she said this food was great. Great food, great service,...it was so good for lunch, we ordered our dinner to go. My son begs me for the Pho noodle soup with beef, chicken and extra vegetables and summer rolls. It is so delicious... It comes with a plate of Thai basil, mung bean sprouts, jalapeños and lime wedge...I like to dress up the soup further with Hoisin sauce and a few dots of siracha. It is a large proportion and so we share a bowl but getting to the point where my growing boy can eat his own! The summer rolls are a good sized portion, light and fresh and about the only way I can get my picky eater to eat salad! read more

I'm sorry I have to leave this review...I always feel so badly when restaurants miss to this degree. Im from out of town and was craving good Thai, unfortunately this meal was really not good. Crab Rangoon was ok, they took a sweet approach which was unfamiliar to me but very edible. Fried rice was forgettable and no one went back for seconds. The Panang curry which is a favorite of mine, lacked any depth or complexity of flavors. The rice served with the curry was not cooked well and basically was a congealed ball of starch. The biggest miss that went straight in the trash was the pad see ew. The noodles were thinner than what I have ever seen for this dish, and the flavor tasted nothing like pad see ew. It had a very odd heavy flavor of something I couldn't recognize but it was very off-putting. The rib appetizer was ok, tender but again, not memorable. I don't think it's necessarily the quality of ingredients that stand out, I believe the bigger issues are their cooking techniques and flavor profiles. Good Thai restaurants are gold! I love this place and it is super convenient to work. The food is ready super quick and is generally very tasty. I will say that consistency is an issue. Some days the dish is dry, overcooked and dark as cola, the next dish it is light and moist and perfect. Obviously, this is an issue with the place as they have a sign out front that says "Our Kitchen Our taste" so they're used to the issues. My family and I ate there last Friday night late in the evening. Although I was disappointed that they did not have the dish that I wanted, I tried another item on the menu and was very happy with my choice. Everyone in the group loved what they ordered. The portions were great and all of the flavors were fantastic. I am a big fan of The Smiling Elephant in Nashville based on the complexity of the flavors in the dishes. This place is right on par. I will definitely grab takeout from the place frequently. This place does not hesitate to spice it up. They give you a scale of 1-5 and I usually get a 3 which is spicy enough for me.
