This is one of my favorite Thai places in our area. The curry dishes are my favorite menu items and the potato curry is one that isn't offered everywhere. This is more of a take out atmosphere than a sit and take it all in kind of place, but I've never had any issues with my orders. I'm not sure how crowded they are at lunch, but they always have my order ready in about 10 mins or less when I call in during the evening. I'm sorry I have to leave this review...I always feel so badly when restaurants miss to this degree. Im from out of town and was craving good Thai, unfortunately this meal was really not good. Crab Rangoon was ok, they took a sweet approach which was unfamiliar to me but very edible. Fried rice was forgettable and no one went back for seconds. The Panang curry which is a favorite of mine, lacked any depth or complexity of flavors. The rice served with the curry was not cooked well and basically was a congealed ball of starch. The biggest miss that went straight in the trash was the pad see ew. The noodles were thinner than what I have ever seen for this dish, and the flavor tasted nothing like pad see ew. It had a very odd heavy flavor of something I couldn't recognize but it was very off-putting. The rib appetizer was ok, tender but again, not memorable. I don't think it's necessarily the quality of ingredients that stand out, I believe the bigger issues are their cooking techniques and flavor profiles. Good Thai restaurants are gold! I love this place and it is super convenient to work. The food is ready super quick and is generally very tasty. I will say that consistency is an issue. Some days the dish is dry, overcooked and dark as cola, the next dish it is light and moist and perfect. Obviously, this is an issue with the place as they have a sign out front that says "Our Kitchen Our taste" so they're used to the issues. I've been here a handful of times. Food is good but service quality depends on who you get. It can either be great, or you can get a server who smiles (all the servers were nice) but whose service gives the impression she couldn't care less. I'm pretty low maintenance when it comes to service. That said, I won't be back, I'm not paying to sometimes get good service. If it weren't for that issue, I would have rated higher. read more

While the reviews are certainly mixed, we decided to give it a try. The server was quickly with us and very attentive and polite the entire night. She took on an additional 7 people with no problem. (We did notice that the majority of their business that night appeared to be take out.) We have eaten Thai food all over US so were able to make some recommendations for the newbies. Everyone ordered something different and there was a lot of sharing. To a dish, everything was fantastic. There was the usual such as green curry chicken and pad thai but extended to krata ron (with duck). The portions were HUGE and there were a lot of doggy bags. I like spicy and found the #2 Mild was very mild, just a little hint of heat on the lips. The #3 Spicy left a lingering heat on lips and tongue, which was acceptable even to people that didn't eat hot foods. The only negative is the dining area is small and when the door opened and closed, the 20 degree outdoor temps really chilled the room. Overall, very pleased and we will absolutely return. read more

Horrible horrible, I don't know what these people are smoking when they put these reviews on here the service was terrible the soup was awful, egg rolls were dripping of grease when they serve them.. i ask to send my soup back and they said I couldn't that they were going to charge me for another bowl how ridiculous is that. My stir fry was cold and the beef was so tough I couldn't eat it. Dinner for two 44.00. Went back to the hotel and ordered pizza from Howies. Delicious. read more

This food is pretty good ...sometimes too salty... I would give them higher however, I am not completely sure about their sanitation. The young girl that is a server is kinda rude and nonattentive... I have been there several times on my lunch break and the employees are always eating lunch on the floor within sight their customers (one of the girls smacks -which is a whole other issue but I digress....) and then when someone's order is ready... they go right to the kitchen, pick up the food and deliver it to their guests--- including me. THEY NEVER WASH THEIR HANDS!!! I also see them touching their hair or play with a baby that one of the other employees brings up there. This may be a family-owned business (I'm not sure) but that's gross!!! I worked in a restaurant for 6 years and I would never do that. Now with the coronavirus going around and I have witnessed this type of behavior at least 4-6x I'm not sure if I will eat there again unless this changes... read more

Tried it for the first time on Fathers Day. I had the Panang and my Son in Law has the Pad Thai Noodles. The Panang was OK but certainly not the best I have had in Franklin. A little too salty and the vegetables were not overly fresh. Portions were generous and the food was temperature hot which is not always the case with some Thai places. read more

Stopped in for lunch after reading good reviews. Papaya salad, beef salad and Tom kha were okay. Nothing spectacular. Massuman curry was terrible. It was dessert sweet. The server asked if we wanted some chili to doctor it up, but we said no because then it would just be spicy too. The person that ordered it couldn't even eat it, and just had rice. When we asked if they could take part of it off the bill since it only had 2 bites missing, the server said she would ask the owner. The owner said no, that it was supposed to be that sweet. I guess all the other places who serve massumam curry are doing it wrong then. Will definitely not be returning based on customer service of the owner. Paying full price for a meal that isn't edible is ridiculous. But the bathroom was clean at least. Not all that surprising since the whole place smelled like cleaner when we walked in. And the water has a funny aftertaste. After seeing the server fill up the water pitcher at the sink with the water filter attached next to the cash register, maybe the filter needs to be changed. read more

The food is good if you're ordering to go or pickup. Don't ever sit and eat because they give the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They treat you as if you're not welcomed there. The young girl who served me was super nice but the cashier lady was so horrible. They gave me my food and did not stop to check in for 45 mins of me sitting there. I didn't finish my food and wanted to take it with me but I didn't even bother because the lady just brushed me off whenever she walked by to service the people around. Even the lady in front of me left pissed because they had horrible customer service. If I'm paying for your over priced I expect some level of customer service not being ignored for 45 mins. read more

We stopped in for dinner as we traveled north on 65. It's easy access off the highway. But better than that -- the food is delicious. We had the ginger stir fry and the Panang Curry. Both were excellent. Also, Tom, our server, was very attentive. We highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Delicious! I went for lunch and the place was packed. I ordered chicken gang ped dang (red curry), spice level 3 (1-5 scale). Great presentation, quality pieces of chicken cooked perfectly, and a good amount of head sweat/nose run for the spice level. Definitely going level 5 next time. The food was OK. Not bad. But waitress was rude. We went in a little more than one hour before the store closes. She was so unhappy that we came in. The store was empty. I guess she wanted to go home. She unpleasantly took our order, and while we waited, she started put all chairs up on the table in a very rough manner. She started mopping the floor, shut the blinds violently to show us how unhappy she was. We felt threatened. We quickly finished our food, and left 30 min. before closing time. read more
