Pad Thai tastes OK. However, be careful with the price. For Chicken Pad Thai is 9$ for lunch and 12$ for dinner. The information of lunch menu is hidden at the bottom of the first page of menu. Lunch special is available only from Monday to Friday. If you go to this restaurant on Saturday for a lunch and order Pad Thai, they will charge you with dinner price. If you actually know what Thai food tastes like it's terrible. This is the most inauthentic Thai place ever. I tried 3 different dishes. The pad see eew was ordered extra spicy and they did that by putting 2 tablespoons of chilly flake on top of the whole dish. Making 1/5 of the plate so hot it was inedible. My padkinow was bland and tasteless. My bubble tea was more of a dessert then a drink. It was made with shaved ice (not the way to do it). Will not go again. Very hot or miss with these guys. Food is sometimes good and sometimes bad. I usually order to-go and for those who order online their estimates can be spot on or way off so if you are looking for a time commitment with pickup this place have you waiting 20-30 minutes past the estimated time. I would also double check order before you leave because it is often not expedited correctly and you might get back with food missing or sauces missing, For Thai food it's all in all decent so my only point is that they sometimes fall way behind and you won't know what to expect on a given day. People are nice. Ever since Covid this place has taken a turn for the worst. Before we would make it a point to stop whenever we were in the area. Today we stopped for lunch. I don't understand why it's so hard to find a good Thai place in Nashville. Maybe I was spoiled by phenomenal Thai food in Dallas, but I haven't found a 5 star place yet. Siam is 3 stars - a ok. First off, their seating arrangements are peculiar. They obviously need a bigger space, because when I went there with a friend around lunch time in Cool Springs, they had us share a table with a random couple. I thought that was weird. If you don't have space to sit people at their own table, then have them wait. Service was slow. They had probably 2 people total waiting on tables, and they were just so unorganized. It took them forever to even come over and great us, let along take out orders/deliever food. When you have a restaurant in Cool Springs, you need to be able to easily get people in and out the door on the week days, and they didn't do that. We were there for too long, and the slightly above average food didn't make up for the service. I had pad thai. The noodles were too sticky, but the chicken and flavor was good. I might consider getting take-out from here in the future, but I'll never come back to sit down. read more

Things have changed here lately as I have been a customer since they opened. I often eat lunch here once or twice a week . The young lady that is the server has turned me away toward the end of lunch time several times. She is generally unfriendly and always into her phone . The prices have gone up to a ridiculous level and the portions are down . The recipes seem to have changed and are not as flavorful . My last lunch was the Pho with chicken and was $14. !! By the way, servings are massive.. I split one curry order with my SO and its a perfect amount for both of us Shrimp Siam Summer Rolls. You can eat these as a meal in themselves. MASSIVE rolls with fresh veggies and mmm shrimp in rice paper thats perfectly textured. Comes with a sweet/sour peanut sauce that is unreal yummy. Best Pho in Nashville! So my Wife and I are both Pho addicts. Unfortunately Nashville does not have that many Pho places. However we have tried them all and Siam Pad Thai is by far our new favorite. The Pho is amazing and the prices are just fine. In addition to awesome Pho, their Boba Team is perfect. The tapioca balls are the perfect softness and not too hard. This place used to be our go-to Thai restaurant and the only place I would recommend for pho. But we just ate our last meal here tonight after being loyal customers since they opened. We brought home our take out tonight and found the food portions were basically cut in half. The to go containers were half the size the had been the previous visit. When I called to inquire they said they cut back on all portions . And they were no longer including an egg roll with their pho. Normally people just raise their prices to deal with food cost issues. But I have never heard of a place cutting their portions in half. Back where I come from in Southern Illinois, there's a fantastic thai restaurant - Thai Taste. The food is always hot, fresh, packed full of flavor, and of fantastic portion size. I have been looking for that ever since I've relocated to Mid TN. In the area here there seem to be a lot of restaurants that, cosmetically-speaking, are so well done that they almost appear to be a franchise. It's these types of franchises that are so often great hits or severe misses. The best places in my experience are the hole-in-the-wall, slightly run-down or "basic" looking places that put their emphasis on fantastic food. If the food is good enough, the atmosphere can suffer and the whole experience can still be a total five-star win. I sought out Siam because of this - nothing fancy about the place, no corporate look to it, and no sense of pretension about it. The menu is huge, and has a ton of options. I went for lunch and ordered a carry-out of the shrimp pad thai, at a level 3. The spice really wasn't there; guess I need to go higher. While it was a great portion, and came with an egg roll, it was 90% noodles. The peanuts were there, the lime was there, not many green onions though, a couple little specks of egg, and four shrimp, all with their tails on. I'm not familiar enough with the culture to know if it is always customary to leave tails on the shrimp, but I do know that chicken comes without the bones, so I've always seen it as a bit of an extra added step. The biggest problem? My $11 lunch had maybe 10 grams of protein. It was just as good as ordering lo mein at a chinese restaurant, or a vegetarian entree. Unless this was a fluke, I cannot count on being back. For some people, lots of noodles is not a problem, but it just wasn't filling. I have seen several comments on here about the entrees not having a lot of meat or vegetables, so I'm seeing a trend here. read more

Ok, I go there over and over for lunch because I love their authentic and uniquely prepared Thai food. However the service could certain improve a bit. The first couple of times, I get it, they were busy and only one waitress. But it has been 7x since I have been back and the service still sucks. I always have to ask for napkins, silver ware sets, chopsticks, and for them to refill my water. The servers needs to be a little more attention to their customers, especially during lunch time. This review is based on the service I received and the Tom Ka (Coconut Soup) I had. The soup was clearly watered down, not much coconut milk. Didn't have the full arrangement of flavors that I'm used to at other Thai restaurants. I could barely taste the lemongrass and the lime juice, and had to ask for more. We waited about 10 minutes for water. I honestly don't mind waiting for drinks, although others often do. What bothered me was that the soup was obviously made about as cheaply as possible, using as little of each ingredient as possible. I kind of felt cheated. I was excited to try pad Thai here - I got the veggie pad Thai - was really disappointing - the noodles seems over cooked - the flavor was rather bland - there was something crunchy besides the peanuts - just not tasty - within an hour of eating 1/3 of the pad Thai I felt nauseated, whoozy & off. I felt awful- I have a pretty iron stomache - based on past experiences I have had with food poisoning it felt just like it but a milder case of it. I went on a Sunday afternoon with my wife...Service was bad, overcharged and they messed up my order. One person doing the register, taking orders and serving food. Spring rolls were served ice cold. My wife asked for the least on the spice scale for Pad Thai and hers was more spicy than mine. So I ate mine while warm while they cooked her food then she ate after I was already done. They never volunteered to discount or or make up for their mistakes(s) As a first time guest I was not impressed.... For $38 Jasmine's would of been cheaper and better service! Sad to say I was rather disappointed after reading mostly good reviews; I chose to ignore the bad ones and give this place a chance but I kind of regret it now that I'm eating very bland pad thai. Pad Thai is usually my dish of choice to decide whether a Thai place is good or not but their pad Thai is quite sub par: dry and lacking flavor. On the other hand, their panang curry was pretty flavorful and delicious. The only bad thing I would say with this dish is that the sauce was pretty watered down.. I'm used to panang being more creamy and with thicket consistency. Luckily though, it was at least flavorful. Not sure if I'll ever come back here. At least not for the pad thai. Best Thai food in Franklin, hands down. I frequent Siam at least once every week or two. The waitresses are super nice, and the service is always fast. The fresh spring rolls (not fried) are a great appetizer served with a peanut dipping sauce. Their curry dishes are the most flavorful curries I have ever tried. They come with house soup and white rice (add brown rice for additional $) at dinner. I love the massaman curry and green curry. My husband loves their red curry and pho. We both love their Thai tea! I really don't understand how this place has good reviews. The food: furthest thing from REAL thai food. everything we ordered tasted like Chinese food. The sauces had no noticeable thai flavors like thai basil or fish sauce. The two dishes had thick sauce as if they used corn starch to thicken. Typical in Chinese food not Thai. The service: mediocre. When you walk in they yell from behind the counter to sit wherever you want. They don't even greet you at the door. Decor is lame too. I've moved from the west coast where there are lots of Asians so I have tried so many Thai restaurants since Pad Thai is my favorite food; maybe that is the reason I was a little disappointed. Their portion size was really big so I like that, but Pad thai tasted like the one you can get from the Chinese restaurant, the noodle was kind of overcooked and the seasoning wasn't what I expected. There were two different papaya salad on the menu, Laos style, and Thai style, I asked the server what the difference is, she couldn't answer. I wish she knew better about the menu. The pho was extremely disappointing. I'll give the pho 1 star and would not order again. I love pho and the star of a good bowl of pho is the broth. The broth here tasted like Lipton's chicken noodle soup broth. The broth in pho should be a beef broth made from ox tails and it should be have star anise. Also, the broth wasn't quite hot enough to cook the raw beef they put in the soup. I like medium rare and it was barely cooked enough for me, even after letting it sit in the broth. Had the Drunken Noodles from here. It was delicious. The only issue I had was the price of the Spring Rolls...it was a bit pricy for the portion size. However, the Drunken Noodles I ordered was spicy level 3, and it was spicier than I had imagined it to be. Since the spice level consisted of 1-5. I would suggest to anyone, to go for 2 for some spice and flavor. If you prefer spicy, then go ahead and kick it up to 3-5. read more

Thanks to the reviews, we have found a new Thai Restaurant . The food was awesome, service and atmosphere was great. I tried to warn my husband, when you are asked how hot/spicy- stay in the middle. He did not believe me or the waiter and select 5 + (scale was 1-5)...., his Chicken Pad Thai was so hot tears were rolling down his face. He really enjoyed his Pad Thai.....even thought it made him cry:-). The drunken noodles,my go to, we're great. On a steady Saturday evening - customer service, while not outstanding was above average. The wait staff was attentive and provided good recommendations. I did not like the Beef/Meatball Pho; the broth was delicious, but the meat was very stringy, it just didn't taste like beef I am use to in the traditional Vietnamese Pho. The pork Larb was excellent, I ordered level 3 spice level, and probably could have handled 4; but the dish was very flavorful and a large serving was provided. The chicken/shrimp Pad Thai was by far the best dish of the evening. If you are ever in the Franklin/Cool Springs area; I would recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for Asian/Thai.
