This has been a mainstay in Smyrna for years. It's traditional Thai food that's made to order. They've survived over the years of changes in the area and even in a shopping center that's not really a reason to stop. But it's truly amazing food, atmosphere and they have a bar. For a Saturday lunch, we had the place to ourselves. Our server was very attentive and friendly. He didn't talk much but was there for whatever we needed. To start we shared the steamed dumplings. An order includes 4 dumplings. For lunch, we ordered the Drunken Noodles with beef and Massaman curry chicken. Everything was very fresh, well seasoned and tasty. The noodles could have used more salt but we added the sauce from the dumplings. No drinks this time or dessert but they have a full menu of options. Visited this place as a group of 6 adults and 6 kids. We went to this place towards the closing time. The staff were super helpful and the food was great and they were able to accommodate us. The food was great and we mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday for one of our kid and in the end the staff came up with a fried ice cream with a candle to celebrate. A very nice place to eat Thai cuisine. I had the shrimp basil rolls for an appetizer and chicken panang for my entree. I usually get the fresh basil rolls because they are not deep-fried. The peanut sauce gives them a perfect flavor. The panang was not spicy at all for me, but it too had a nice flavor from the coconut milk. The quantity of both dishes is quite large, including the rice. You could easily make 2 meals out of 1. The service was excellent with the host, cook, and manager checking on our needs. The only negative I could mention is the flooring, but it was clean. The bathroom was also clean. Additionally, there is ample parking in front to include handicap parking. Wow. This place has really changed for the worse. The outrageous fees have come and the lack of care is gone. My wife and I have a special order we typical make, and we expect some additional payment for the changes. But now? There seems to be only a concern for maximizing profit at any cost. We order 1 coconut soup with tofu, and 2 panang curries with grouper, with extra vegetables. Typically, with all extras accounted for, this would end up around $50. Not cheap, but a $4 substitute for each grouper, and an extra $2 for extra veggies was reasonable. So why did I get charged $75 for the same meal? I can't figure it out. 2 entrees, with changes, and a soup. When picking up I glanced at the original itemized receipt and saw an extra $6 each for added veggies??? - so that might have something to do with it. I didn't even see what was charged for the grouper. When I asked about the price for the veggies, I just got an awkward smirk in return. And guess what, there was a standard amount of veggies included, nothing extra. To top it off, typically when we ordered grouper, the staff would be aware enough to know that if you don't separate the fish, it will get soggy very quickly. Seemed to not be a consideration this time. Before I could get home everything was mush. Unfortunately, this will no longer be a go-to for me as it used to be. We used to drive further to get here. Last night I ordered this restaurant for a delivery order. I am visiting Atlanta and I was wanting some Thai food for the night. as an appetizer, I ordered the basil spring rolls. I liked how they were arranged and to pieces. The sauce that came with the spring rolls was more soy sauce than actual peanut butter sauce. As for my entree I ordered the Siam Square curry. The curry was very tasty, and it had a lot of flavor within the curry. There was potatoes, some chicken breast, and the best part was the bone in chicken wing. Add a side of rice, because it adds a good flavor to the curry. I would definitely like to visit this place in person and check out more of their plates. read more

There menu is pretty standard Thai fair I was in the mood for noodles so after briefly looking of the menu I knew what I wanted to order. Located in a strip mall in Smyrna off of Windy Hill Rd in a plaza with plenty of parking. The decor was nice, the restaurant was clean and all staff were wearing masks and gloves when I arrived. Pad-Woon-Sen Bean Thread noodle stir-fried with onion, carrot, snow pea, baby corn & bell pepper. While I'm not a fan of such thin noodles it was pretty good but not spicy enough for me. Disclaimer, I've never been inside this restaurant, but I have ordered their food via Uber Eats many times. I always get the Spring Rolls, Fried Tofu and the Spicy Basil Leaves Tofu, and this order is pretty stellar. The Spring Rolls are crispy and tasty (that typical super bright orange dipping sauce is included, but theirs is actually good), the Fried Tofu is pillowy and amazing! It's light and fluffy, just sort of perfect (major tofu lover here!). There's another bright orange dipping sauce, with crushed peanuts (this seems standard for most Thai restaurants), and it's quite tasty. Not all Thai restaurants have the same sauces, but they are colored similarly. Siam Square has good flavors in theirs. The Spicy Basil Leaves Tofu is also good, just the right amount of spice, and a flavorful sauce. It seems hard to get such simple dishes that taste good at local Thai restaurants, but Siam Square really does these well. read more

The only thing appealing about this restaurant is the decor. We arrived about 40 minutes prior to them closing to prepare for dinner service. Upon entering, the hostess yelled to the female server/owner, "40 minutes what do you want to do?" After repeating this twice, the lady shook her head, and then we were seated. I ordered one spring roll for $1.50 and red curry with vegetables. I tried to order mango sticky rice but was informed that that's only available for dinner. Besides the food being overpriced, it was also very under-flavored. It was lacking in depth of flavor that I am accustomed to from Thai restaurants. Here's the thing... my pictures are horrible but I was trying to capture the intentional detail this place does with its eating utensils- the brushes bronze soup spoon and fork. Most restaurants use cheap flatware bought in huge quantities without a thought about it. My lunch was wonderful... I would line up for a bucket of the soup. I learned of this local spot on Yelp, actually, and called in for takeout for dinner tonight after working out and running some errands. I ordered the chicken pad thai and the vegetable springs rolls. The food is absolutely amazing, was ready in 15 minutes, and the owners were very nice and professional. Just drove 8 hours and wanted a good meal . Found Siam Square. Everything was fresh from steamed dumplings to cashew chicken. Perfectly cooked vegetables and moist chicken. Dessert was coconut cake. New owners took over several weeks ago. We started the night with Siam Square Blend appetizer. The Basil and Spring Rolls were delightful and the Chicken Sa-tay and Dumplings were yummy! I had Peppery Catfish, and it was perfectly fried and so dang good! My daughter raved over her Pineapple Fried rice and the shrimp I swiped from my wife's Pa-Nang Shrimp was perfectly cooked and awesome. We squeezed in a brownie with ice cream and it also was so very good! The staff at the restaurant were so attentive, helpful and nice. I cannot wait to come back and try the Siam Square's Curry (Gang-Ga-Ree-Gai), as we hear it is amazing! I believe it and will let you know. read more

I was craving Thai food and this place had pretty good reviews. I wish I could say that I had the same positive experience. I ordered Shrimp Pad Thai and Shrimp Pad See Ewe. Both were dry and lacking any flavor. I ordered via UberEats. So I will say that they followed my instructions of no bean sprouts in my Pad Thai. But otherwise the food left a lot to be desired. Today I discovered my new favorite Thai restaurant in Atlanta. I'm telling you - this one is worth the drive. My friend & I tried their lunch specials - both were outstanding. And loved that their water has a hint of cucumber - creative and refreshing! Lunch prices vary by choice of meat - $7.95 for chicken or tofu, $8.45 for pork or beef, and $9.45 for shrimp. Pretty good deal considering these same dishes cost $3 more during dinner. I got the "Pad Kee Mow" which was probably one of the tastiest meals I've had - and apparently very memorable b/c I was craving for more during the afternoon and actually now as I write this review. I liked too that they had more veggies (and crunchy not soggy) than most Thai restaurants. The flavor was incredible, and let me not forget - VERY SPICY! Loved everything about it! My friend got the "Red Curry" and I really loved the flavor of his, too. I was impressed too with the number of different veggies in his dish. Portions were generous. We'll definitely come back and next time, maybe eat family style and ask for a couple of extra plates. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Siam Square Thai Cuisine and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant not only offers delicious Thai cuisine, but they also have a great selection of cocktails that are definitely worth trying. And, of course, the Tomyam fried rice that's created by the restaurant owner and the papaya salad is a must-try dish. This is my absolute favorite Thai restaurant. The ambiance is quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. The owner is usually there and is always warm and welcoming. Everything I've tried at Siam Square is terrific, although their Panang Curry is my personal favorite (I have yet to find a Thai restaurant anywhere in the Southeast that compares). Presentation is beautiful, service is good, and the food is top notch! Basil rolls, chicken satay (the peanut sauce is delicious), fried tofu, and calamari are all great appetizers here. Both of their soups are wonderful, and they have a lovely assortment of curry dishes (among others). I recently tasted the Massaman Curry that a friend got, and I will be getting that myself soon. Good service and good food in a nice establishment. Certainly a place you could bring a date, early on a weeknight I was the only one alone. I started with an order of the Basil Rolls with Shrimp. A decent amount and quite tasty with a pot of peanut sauce, it did its job of whetting my appetite for the meal to come. And that meal was the Drunken Noodles. A good amount of veggies and chicken, there was an excellent texture and a good taste though maybe not as spicy as I wanted. Still, it was very good and I would have ti again but next time I would ask for it to be spicier. Tried it again 10 months later and I guess there's just no going back. We used to love this place so much but the prices are now insane and the food barely "Meh". One of the things we used to love about Siam Square Thai Cuisine was the Tom Kha! It had the perfect mixture of sweet and sour. Tonight it was just cloyingly sweet, no sour at all. Nothing like Tom Kha is supposed to be. It was inedible and cost almost $10. We also got 2 pineapple fried rices, one with chicken and one with beef. They were okay but there was barely any pineapple in them and they were very dry. And an order of Massaman Curry which was completely savory. I guess the slight bit of sweet that was supposed to be in it went into the Tom Kha instead. On top of that, 1 (terrible)soup, two portions of fried rice and 1 curry were $80 after tip because we did take out. For $80, I think I should like what I'm eating. I hope they change back to the original recipes or chef or something but I guess it doesn't matter because, I have no impetus to go back at this point. I can't tell you how disappointing this is. They really helped us all though the pandemic as we got take from them a lot. So sad to see where they've gone. read more

My medium-hot dishes have the perfect amount of heat for me without overpowering the taste of the food. Hidden Gem - We consider Siam Square Thai Cuisine to be the best Thai restaurant in the area. We have eaten there frequently over the last 5 years and the food has been exceptional. In addition, the staff are very friendly, accommodating, attentive, and prompt. We're vegetarians and they have many delicious vegetarian options. We have dined there with omnivore and vegan friends, and they also love Siam Square. They work hard to deliver high quality locally prepared dishes. The sauces are prepared fresh daily, and the vegetables are served fresh and crisp. It's sad that the restaurant appears to have light business. We attribute it to the out of the way location in a small strip mall in Smyrna. But it is well worth taking the time to find it. read more
