    Drunken Noodle **
    Brittany M.

Deliciously good Thai food right in the battery. I had the drunken noodles (Thai spicy of course) and they were very flavorful. My partner loved the chicken basil. It's located in the Ph'east food court alongside a bar and a few other Asian food spots. I look forward to returning.

The location is great (unless a game is occurring, and then you can't get to it for pickup for love or money). The staff were friendly and understanding when we called to let them know we were going to be late picking up our order due to not realizing they would shut down so many roads on game day?! Ah! The eatery itself was clean and inviting. The prices were not great, but the portion sizes were. They forgot our drinks, but we called in to let them know, and they said they refunded me...so hoping they did?! lol! All in all, I was pleased...but it was a rocky start! My son went in for pickup since I had to park two blocks away, and he said the pickup was smooth and easy upon entering the eatery. So, all in all it wasn't a bad first try!

I've been a regular customer of Thai 26 for a while, but on November 1, 2025, I decided to visit their location at The Battery for the first time in a while. When I arrived, I noticed they now have a self-service kiosk for ordering. Two employees were standing behind the counter but didn't greet or acknowledge me. I proceeded to place a to-go order through the kiosk (Panang Roti Curry, Pad Thai, and House Fried Shrimp- see photo) and found a seat in the food hall. PoWhen I received a text notification that my order was ready, I went to pick it up. Upon checking my bag, I noticed that the container of Panang Curry was barely filled--maybe a quarter full at most (see photo). I went back to the counter to show the employees, but they were gaslighting me saying they didn't seem to understand what I was saying. I explained that I've ordered this dish many times, both dine-in and to-go, and it's never been served with so little curry. Instead of acknowledging the issue, they insisted that "that's how it comes." To show how little curry there actually was, I poured the contents into two small sauce containers--one filled up, and the other barely covered the bottom (see photo). A cook came out from the back and offered to bring more curry, which he did, but it was still only about half a container. Overall, I was very disappointed with the experience. Thai 26 used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but the service and quality this time were not what I've come to expect.

This is not a standalone sit down restaurant, instead it is part of a food court. Thus, the menu is abbreviated compared with the other locations. The curry was consistent with the other locations, but the drunken noodle was a bit underwhelming. Stick to the curries!

3.5/5 stars. This review is for the smaller food stall at the Battery that is separate from the stand alone full sized restaurants of the same name throughout Atlanta. I'll start with the location. Great location at the Battery inside an Asian inspired food hall. Fun neon lights with a dark vibe and live music set a city tone. Plenty of seating at communal style tables as well as some high tops with a bar in the middle. There are several food stalls to choose from outside of this one so it just depends on what type of food you are wanting. There is Chinese, Japanese , Thai , a dedicated boba spot and a dedicated sushi burrito stall. When you first walk up to the 26 Thai stall if you don't already know what to do it can be a bit confusing. There was literally a girl behind the counter looking at me as I was trying to order. It wasn't until I saw someone else walk up and order on the automated register that I realized it was all self ordering. A simple gesture towards the ordering panel would have been welcome by the staff that was present there. I ordered the tamarind saute chicken dish with fried rice , an order of spring rolls and Thai iced tea. The items took quite a bit of time to come out. The person I was with ordered food from a Chinese stall and not only did he get his food way before me but he had mostly finished his food before I ever got mine. They text you when the order is ready. The first thing you notice is the fried rice is in a paper fry box which was a bit off putting. The rice was overcooked and mushy but had good flavor. The chicken dish itself was very crispy but had almost none of the tamarind sauce so I had to go to the counter and ask for sauce to put on the dish. The veggies were fine. The Thai tea was nice and sweet with that distinct finish. I would say comparing this one to the stand alone restaurant in midtown is quite different. The food is much fresher and well prepared at the main restaurant while here it's made to accommodate a food stall crowd. I very much understand the concept I just hope in the future they are able to speed up the service and raise the quality of the food to the level of their main restaurants. I would come here again to try some of the other stalls and I would even come back to 26 Thai to try some of their other options.

Friend was in town staying at the battery so we stopped in for a quick bite. Liked the whole vibe of the place, pleasant people, decent seating and clean bathrooms. I grabbed the drunken noodles with tofu, hot. Generally get Thai hot but you never know at a new place. Spice level was good, would probably go with Thai hot if I stop in again. The noodles had a decent flavor and were served with some cold slices of cucumber which was a nice touch. The dish was overall tasty but was oily and the noodles were in a big, almost inseparable clump. Food overall was average. Wife picked up a pokey bowl at a different stall and that looked super tasty.

Came here late at night because it was the only thing open at 10:30 PM! There's a good variety of things for five different "fast food "offerings. Food is OK it tasted great at the time because I was starving! But I've had worse! Spring rolls were great coconut soup was tasty not much meat, chicken in the soup dumplings were a little strange I'm used to dumplings that are covered not open. Overall not a bad place if you're desperate for a decent meal late at night! I didn't like the fact that they didn't enforce wearing mass even if you were not eating!

Came here while trying the new food hall at The Battery. I ordered the Chicken Curry. It was good and the portion was perfect. I wasn't overly full but I was satisfied. I would go back.

Amazing!!! This hall is super cute with several options, came here for the first time tonight with my little one. Perfectly located amongst other shops, live music going, bar within, went with crab Rangoon rolls, spring rolls and chicken wings. Lorddddddd....best rolls I've have ever! Wings cooked to perfection. The others in my party also really enjoy their food. Issa yes for me:) thank you for your service!!!

Let me tell you something this is the place to go for Thai if you are near the stadium and you want the authentic Thai taste. I visited this place on a non game day to experience them among a couple of other restaurants that were not too crowded because of game day. So it was worth it to walk around and decided which place would best suite my taste. We ended up for starters at the 26 Thai Kitchen. My eyes and mind was focused on the Tom Young soup. It was better than I expected- so that is always good. The combination of flavors of lemongrass poultry and spices made me think of cold days in San Francisco (hometown) and buying a pint of the soup at a local favorite gazing out the semi steamed up window during the chilly breeze and slight rain pour. As I closed my eyes and took each bite and gazed on inner visions of good music and good flavors on my palate. It was worth every bite! I even turned up the bowl to get that last drop! I was tempted to take a bowl to go but we decided to go to a couple of other restaurants in search of the best ambiance and delectable creations. There are plenty to choose from. What I like about the majority of the restaurants in this location is they are meant to serve adults. So while the games are away the battery restaurants will remain open to enjoy the games in each eatery amongst their own unique flavors. This was the 2022 season against the Phillies for a clinch in the finals - this restaurant will be around for as long as the stadium is open so do your best and give them the best support. Food is always fresh and cooked to order

DELICIOUS! We ordered the vegan drunken noodles, vegan crispy rolls and vegan basil rolls. Clearly, they have a great amount of vegan options which is great. All of the food was fresh and super yummy. We will definitely be returning. The Food Hall has a lot of great options but I'm glad we tried Thai today.

This location is at The Battery Atlanta towards the end of the walk. It's inside Ph'East, a food hall of far eastern foods. I ordered the Roti Massaman. I just wanted a snack and never miss a chance to get roti. Taste was good. The curry was a little thinner than I would like but I would back.

I have never in my life had Americanized Thai food (or at least been conscience of it) but this tasted every bit of that. Not a single Thai national or descendant cooking or dining in here... I should have slid out the door upon noticing this but we were HONGRY and this place was walking distance. I appreciate the big portions to help alleviate the hunger, but the food going down wasn't even close to a real Thai experience. And the general ambience was definitely off. It's unclear whether this is a casual to-go spot or a sit-down spot or a bar. The service here was confusing. You have to order drinks separately from your food, for one. Secondly, it took a solid 10 minutes for a bartender to walk behind the bar and begrudgingly explain to me what they have available. I would have ordered more but her attitude made me close the tab after one beer. We didn't get served water until after we received our food, a solid 15-20 min after being in the restaurant. It generally felt like no one wanted to be there, and the staff were just moving independently to complete tasks instead of creating a dining experience *together*. There was not a smile from a single person I interacted with. I'd most likely not return purely because the dining experience is just plain out uncomfortable. On to the food. Mostly oil and noodles except for the papaya salad, which was... okay. Again, big portions. Nice heat. But just okay. The whole cherry tomatoes on top were a little weird and screamed laziness. The tofu kee mao was... okay. Same for the chicken pad thai. Lots of oil. This food made us feel pretty tired after eating it, which I've rarely experienced eating Thai cuisine. And they were very, very stingy with the protein. My husband counted 4-5 little slivers of chicken and hella noodles. The same was true for my tofu dish. I mean... it's tofu y'all. Cheap. But I can imagine they have to cut these corners because there were about 8 staff members running around in a small space with only a few customers in for happy hour. They do have HH deals on drinks depending on the day, but I found the drinks to be overpriced and not worth it. Especially the beer. And a $10 non-alcoholic cocktail is wild imo, especially for the scanty area this area is in. They are certainly milking the fact that they are in eyeshot of the Mercedes Benz stadium. The inside is beautiful and very ~trendy~ and honestly that tells me exactly where the focus is. I'd rate this a 2, but I'm adding a star for the spotless restrooms.

This restaurant is really the best kept secret in Atlanta!…read more My family visited here this week for the first time since around 2014 and, despite our fears that it wouldn't live up to the great experience we had then, they EXCEEDED our expectations. We ordered so much and everything was delicious - nothing below an 8/10 in my opinion. We ordered the seafood spring rolls (8/10), crab benigets (8/10 with a special note of originality), and the shrimp appetizer (10/10). Spring rolls- very crispy and flaky, had the "sea floor" variety of seafood inside, flavorful 3 sauces to go with it Crab beignets- a slightly cheesy and airy beignet with a genius crab dip blend. The whole table was surprised on how good it was. Shrimp appetizer- the best "bang bang" shrimp I've had. Shrimps are very large and has a nice fruit salsa to go with. Everyone at the table loved their entrees but I can only truly speak for the ones I tried. Seafood Curry- I will NEVER eat curry anywhere else! I LOVEEEEE THIS CURRY! All the seafood is so fresh, the curry is so flavorful that I literally slurped the rest off my plate. There was also such a variety of veggies in there that were also very fresh and firm (not soggy). For the price especially, you get sooooo much and with such a thoughtful recipe. According to our waitress, it's the only recipe that hasn't changed since the restaurant opened in 2012! Fried chicken - I didn't try the chicken itself, but I did try the Mac and cheese and greens that came with it. Let me tell you, I am very picky about Mac and cheese and this rivals the best Mac and cheese I've had in Atlanta (toast on Lenox)! The greens were also fantastic and flavorful, but a little on the sweet side if that's what your preference is. For dessert, all 4 of us shared one slice of the suspension cake and couldn't even finish it! It was ginormous (literally the size of your head). I won't even go into details- just order it! The ambiance is so intimate and unique- not feeling like an "uptight" boujie restaurant, but curated and thoughtful. They have very nice seating outdoor that is enclosed as well as a beautiful bar area. Lastly, the service is fantastic. I genuinely can't recall my waitresses name, but they speak so highly of the head chef (Calvin) and most have worked there 8+ years, so it really feels like home. I write this review with hesitance because I want this place to remain a secret, but how could I not brag! Book the reservation!

We intentionally avoided reading reviews because we wanted to form our own opinion, and we're so glad we did. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed warmly by the host, which immediately set the tone for a great dining experience. Once seated, our waiter was attentive, personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to care that we enjoyed our meal. The food was outstanding, the drinks were excellent. Poor Calvin's delivered from start to finish. If you're visiting Atlanta or you're a local looking for a restaurant that combines exceptional food with outstanding hospitality, Poor Calvin's is well worth the visit. We left with absolutely no complaints and look forward to returning the next time we're in Atlanta.
