I ordered the Nem Nuong Cuon and Green curry with tofu via Grubhub. The rolls beef was like a piece of beef jerky mixed with flavorless package iceberg shredded lettuce. I am not a fan of the dipping sauce so I ordered spicy chili oil on the side. It seemed a shame to add chili oil to the rolls to give them flavor. The green curry was so curry flavorful. I ordered med spicy since I have no frame of reference to the restaurant's definition of spiciness and it had a small bite. I added some chili oil to add more kick. The vegetables in the curry were fresh, crisp and defiant enough to remind me that this wasn't just a sauce to be put over rice but that it was a wholesome meal. read more

We came here later at night and there were a few other parties there. While we ate, there were many take out orders being picked up, both by delivery services and the actual customer. The tables were distanced and the staff all wore masks, along with providing hand sanitizer. All of the condiments were off the tables and brought to you after you order, cleaned. The menu has mostly Vietnamese items, but a good selection of Thai options are well. The food came quickly. The goi cuon were small, but good. The vermicelli was thick inside. I was in town for business and was craving fresh springs rolls and soup so I found this place nearby. I ordered a set of spring rolls. They were good, made earlier that day. Then I debated between one of the pho bowls or the Tieu Chau (chicken broth but had fried minced garlic in it). Since I've never tried the tieu chau before and I LOVE fried minc garlic I ordered that instead. The dish was amazing. I love the garlic flavor throughout the bowl. You also got to select between egg noodles or rice noodles. I chose egg noodles. It also had pieces of chicken, pork, and a few shrimp (which I could tell was raw before it went into the soup - thumbs up on the freshness). Everything was awesome. Also came with the side herbs for garnish like you get with pho bowls. And as usually, I added some of their chili sauce. Except this place chili sauce is a chili garlic sauce - more thumbs up! This is a Vietnamese and south Asian cuisine special restaurant. We always love to get soup noodles along with Thai ice tea with pearls. Ambience: The restaurant is neat with thoughtful seating for couples group and singles. Food: The quantity of the food is huge while getting soup noodle bowl and it tastes really good and u can sense the freshness of the ingredients in the food . Love the Saigon Cafe local chain. I grew up going to Saigon Cafe Lawrenceville but I've since recently moved to Smyrna and was happy to know they have a location in Smyrna as well! Currently going through the Covid 19 shutdown but was craving pho so I ordered online and picked up. I would recommend going this route. The delivery apps take most of the profit from these local spots so try to pick when you can! This location is great about social distancing and have literally wrapped the restaurant up to the point you only see the face of the person and the little window where they can slide you the food. It's very thoughtful and helpful. As for the food, it's as good as it gets and their quality is consistent across all locations. I got my usual, a meatball pho and a fresh shrimp roll appetizer, and my boyfriend who doesn't like pho ordered the chicken fried rice. Everything was seasoned well and they included all the condiments necessary for your meal that you'd expect eating in the restaurant. I highly recommend this place. I finally tried the Saigon Cafe after a long wait near Cumberland Mall. My Pho was prepared by Rambo, the owner so the noodles and the broth were great! My sister's cold noodles were a little clumpy and her fish sauce was a little salty and bland. They were tasty enough that she ate most of it. If you communicate what you want, they deliver. I just moved to Atlanta a couple weeks ago from the West Coast (SF and Vegas) and was a little concerned because I didn't know if the area would be lacking in good Asian food. Last night at 9:30pm I was craving pho and Saigon Cafe was the closest place that was still open (not sure if this is normal or if most places adjusted hours due to COVID). I called and placed my order of P1 with extra broth, it was ready in 10 minutes. My pro tip is always order extra broth and meat, then make zoodles to mix with the regular noodles so that way it's not only healthier but you also get 2 orders out of it! This is a nice quiet place to sit and relax before you go to the Braves games or shopping at Cumberland Mall. The food is really good and has many variety of dishes on the menu. I usually go here after picking my neice from school. We usually order the eggrolls and pho. The broth is so savory. They also have delicious fried combination noodles and rice plates. Today I tried something a little different. I had the Beef Loc Luc. To my suprising, it's actually really good. The beef is tender and flavorful. Onions carmelized and satay well to the dish. Was super good. We ordered from door dash and it was delivered within 25 min of placing it. My husband got the Tom kha, the Goi Cuon and the Singapore rice noodles. The aroma from the food was so good and it tasted even better then it smelt! There wasn't one thing that we didn't like. This place has always stood out to me, and I recently decided to give it a try. Walking in we were greeted immediately by a young woman. She eagerly asked us for a table but I wanted to take a look at the menu first. Once I opened it I saw 2 things stand out to me. 1. Goi Coun and 2. Tom Kha. The Tom Kha soup was DELICIOUS!! Super flavorful and had little spices and mushrooms in the soup. The Goi Cuon was juicy with a slight crunch for texture. I could rave about these 2 appetizers all day but I wanna get too the customer service and the entrees. Customer service was just a little off. The server approached us without taking down our orders, and also did not introduce himself. He seemed rushed in the beginning of the service. But he got everything out in a timely manner so there are no complaints. For entrees, I had the Pad Thai and Rama Curry. The Rama curry was very very very spicy.. if you do not like spicy food this is not for you. It's sweet because of the coconut milk but also spicy because of the curry spice.
