Service is friendly, but it wasn't crowded at all at 6 pm on a Thursday. The decor is nice and clean, although the tables and chairs are a little worse for wear. I primarily went here while on my way to the airport because I was tired of airport food and there's a cool toy store across the street that I was already visiting. I ordered my usual fare -- $12 pineapple fried rice. This is cheap by most standards, but also lowered my expectations. Food came out in 5 minutes -- presentation is fine, but flavors are underwhelming. Could use more curry flavor and pepper. The rice is served with a side of spicy sauce, which I guess is supposed ro do the heavy lifting. I didn't add much of it to my rice, which may be while I found it lacking. While I sat there, the to-go timing increased from 45 minutes to 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes, so they must get a lot of to-go orders! read more

Not sure if I'd call it a treasure but it's fine. Got lunch here and ordered the Broccoli tofu which was just that in a slightly overly salty ginger brown sauce and rice. I also got the Thai iced coffee. This place is just a hole in the wall, and can't say that I'd be back unless I was in the area again. We were consistent customers with the previous owners for 10+ years. There were fantastic & food awesome. While food is basically the same, the service now is so poor. We've gone several times since they opened the dining room again & each time service is as poor as the last visit. We just did take out & my husband said no more based on how he was treated. My wife and I were out and about running some errands & decided to grab a late lunch. We saw Siam Square Siam Treasure is a nice restaurant,decent food and prices, but nothing really noteworthy that would make me want to come back again. They do have a number of lunch specials that come w/a main entree, soup and a couple of pot stickers. The soup was a chicken broth w/ground chicken, celery & rice. The pot stickers were ok. I ordered a chicken dish w/basil, red peppers & onions. My wife ordered the chicken w/chow fun noodles, carrots, onions & bean sprout both dishes were ok but nothing that I would go back for They did have a large menu that might be worth checking out some of their other menu items. read more

The food here is fantastic. I get pad thai, panang curry w large noodle , red duck curry, and orange chicken. Even tho it gets delivered its crispy and tender. Ok today was different. The food taste was off today. Duck curry had duck that r mostly skin, not meat and skim, didnt taste good today. Orange chicken was ... stale and meat was dry. Maybe they changed the cook. I've been here several times but this time was not a happy one. I'm wondering if there's a change in ownership since I've been because I've noticed changes in decor & tables, as well as service. The restaurant was busy with tables and phone calls for takeout/delivery. Delivery driver was coming in to pick up an order. There were a total of 3 tables dining. And the phone was constantly ringing. Perhaps the server was super overwhelmed with the amount of work-- they could definitely use another person. Server was very rude to us in taking an order, food came out super late. This isn't the same Siam Treasure I remember. There was also a boat noodle (like) dish I've had but did not see it on the menu anymore. There is Tom Yum Noodle Soup but it was literally Tom yum sup with noodles added. That is not an authentic Thai noodle soup is. I was very disappointed. I'll give it another try another day before completely saying no. read more

We had driven by Siam Treasure lots of times and decided to give it a try. Why did we wait so long!? The food was steaming hot and delicious! We ordered the scallion pancakes and a small tom kha gha soup as starters. The pancakes were crispy and perfectly fried and came with a nice dark and sweet sauce. For our entrees we ate the spicy fried fish and pad see eiw. The spicy fried tilapia was truly spicy and although slathered in sauce, still incredibly crispy and flaky. The pad see eiw noodles were thick and the sauce was just savory enough to balance the spice of the fish. We took the servers recommendation on dessert and had a hot custard with coconut sticky rice which was unbelievably delicious and creamy. We would come back just for that. The dining room is small and the server was also helping with to-go orders but we still received good service and great recommendations from our server. read more

We came during lunch hour and ordered the tom yum chicken soup, massaman curry, pad see ew with chicken, and eggrolls. I had never had tom yum soup before... it was the tastiest broth-based soup I've had; the lemongrass, lime, and cilantro flavors are a great combination. Thoroughly enjoyed everything. So I was going to try Thai Aree House but wasted a trip going there because they were closed due to remodeling. I had to search for another Thai restaurant. Siam Treasure sure was a treasure. My mom had Pad Thai for the first time. She ordered their Pad Thai with seafood and loved it. I had their Thai Orange Chicken. Liked the presentation. You get like 12 good sized pieces of chicken. Very crispy and loved the orange sauce. Our appetizers were the Golden boats and shrimp in a blanket. The shrimp in a blanket looked like taquitos and the Golden Boats were so neat looking. I got the chicken Satay. Nice sized skewers made with spices and coconut milk. Delicious. Definitely glad I made the decision to go with this place. I ordered food from here and the lady on the phone instructed that the food would be ready in half an hour and upon arrival my friends and I had to wait another half an hour. This was very frustrating because the point of ordering ahead is so that your food will be ready once you get there and it was upsetting that it still wasn't ready and the place also wasn't very busy when we got there. I had the green chicken curry, which was good but I usually like my curry a little sweeter, but overall it was still good. I wish the crab Rangoon here were bigger, but I guess you get what you pay for. My friends also got the Thai fried rice, which they enjoyed. Cute little hole-in-the-wall date place! 1) Super casual atmosphere- when you're not up for dressing up and going some place that's fancy but still has yummy, filling food- this place takes the cake. The walls are brightly colored and the place itself is warm and cute. 2) Great service- very attentive and the woman (I believe she is the owner) treats her patrons like family. It had that homey family friend atmosphere- and was super laid back and causal. You can tell she really cares about her customers. They also include little Asian hard candies with your check so I thought that was a very cute touch that not many places do. 3) Prices- I believe for two people with drinks (BYOB and Tea) was around $30.00 which I say is pretty reasonable considering we ordered appetizers as well as two main courses. 4) Parking- very easy to find as this place is in a strip mall. 5) Food- actually quite decent. It's not the BEST Thai food I've had, but it was decent for being a hole-in-the-wall joint. I did LOVE the the peanut sauce and would recommend it as it definitely was probably the best I've ever had. I was disappointed that they did not have any sort of coconut rice, but they do have coconut in their curry as traditional Thai places do. Pad Thai is great, and the Cashew Chicken is my fav! Sometimes the chicken tastes better some times than others, though. Sometimes it tastes like reheated chicken (blegh!) and sometimes it tastes fresh. I usually cross my fingers and hope for the best. Otherwise I just put a little sriracha sauce and it's all fixed. haha! The staff is wonderful. The sweetest lady (owner?) usually waits on me when I'm there and she is very kind, friendly and attentive. I really like this place! I've been looking for a quality Thai restaurant since I've moved to Edison Park and this restaurant fits the bill. My boyfriend suggested Siam Treasure as a way to kick off our very low key New Years Eve and it was perfect. Cozy environment, friendly staff, and delicious food. Ordered pot stickers and chicken skewers for appetizers, Pad See Eiw with pork as my main dish plus a mango smoothie. Everything was very reasonably priced as well. We used to order from here weekly but noticed the quality of food had gone down so haven't ordered in quite a few months. Ordered tonight and the chicken in our pad Thai was dry and the dish overall was lacking the usual flavor. Not to mention I find the staff taking the phone orders to be rather rude. I am disappointed enough to rate it 3 . We had a meeting in the area and my colleague suggested the place .... it's very well kept for a Thai place but the food lacked the pizzaz. I ordered the basil chicken the taste was okay but what I dislike most is when food is not piping hot ... I could clearly make out a cup of steam rice from the rice cooker was served almost at room temperature that's not acceptable . The tomyom was spicy and tasty but again not warm enough for a soup. This place was a good find! Their orange chicken was very good and their wonton wraps were the perfect amount of filling vs wrap. I had the Panang Shrimp Curry and the curry was very good but I was a little disappointed with the amount of shrimp I got, I got about 4 shrimps.
