solid spot for thai food. my boyfriend's new favorite for pad thai! there is paid parking available directly in front of the restaurant. we ordered the pad thai, papaya salad, small tom yum soup, and crab rangoons. we also got two sodas. the pad thai was sweet and the noodles were so bouncy! the papaya salad was refreshing and i really liked the sauce that came with the rangoons. it's slightly thick and reminded me of fish sauce. the tom yum was great as well. the service was a little slow even though we were one of two customers in the restaurant. they also got one of our orders wrong but were quick to fix it. id recommend this place if you're looking for good thai food in the area! i am surprised it is not busier.

    Inside - cute!

the best Thai food we've had since we visited Thailand many years ago! The restaurant was casual but nice, and the people who waited on us (the owners, perhaps) were really kind. The service was a bit slow, but we were heading to a concert at NIUE so we were under a time crunch. Things always feel slow when you've gotta be somewhere. I would DEFINITELY go there again, the food is absolutely delicious! I had Pad Se Ew and Tom Kha - oh yum!! Thai spicy, but you can order your spice level. I was so happy! My husband had the Thai chicken with veg - fresh and wonderful. For dessert we had mango with sticky rice - heavenly!!! If we ever head back that way, we'll be sure to stop in!!

I ordered again and was sad to find the sticky rice and mangi no longer on the menu. I was also a little disappointed to find they only give you a tiny amount of rice with your delicious red curry. I didn't even know they made such mini containers!

After seeing a show with "drunken noodles " I ventured onto Yelp to see if I could purchase some nearby and Bangkok Thai had them so since I have never tried what better chance to try the food! I actually went twice before writing a review Drunken Noodles ***** - great dish love the heat level at mild , plenty of meat and vegetables ( other places hold back but not here ) meat option was shrimp and it was outstanding Tom Yum fried rice **** - flavorful rice spice level also mild very well seasoned and not oily which is a plus in itself Sticky rice with mango ******* - by far the best dessert I've tried so fresh and refreshing great compliment to any meal a must try Papaya salad ****** - welp after ordering mild on my 1st trip I decided to order spicy - if you love spicy this will hit the spot if your not into spicy stick with the mild rhis does have a great kick. Superb papaya salad this is in my top 5 of any papaya salad I have ever ordered ( the peanuts add a nice taste) . Do not pass up ordering this dish Tom Kha soup ***** great soup spice level mild ,many contrasting flavors that pair well with the broth . Fried banana with honey ******** the egg roll with the banana inside and adding the honey goes great on the pallette . Overall Bangkok Thai has stellar food with great flavor , spice level and superb desserts

Good food! And it's byob! I been here once with my friend and we both enjoyed our food and our time! We both shared Gyoza as an appetizer We brought wine and beer We ordered sticky mango rice for dessert As our main course we both ordered panging curry!

Delicious!! I got beef panang , Tom Yumm and shrimp toast

I ordered through Uber eats and I guess this is the closest highly rated Thai restaurant that delivers around Evanston area. I'm glad I took a chance cause the food was delicious and they packaged the order real well. I hope I can actually dine in one day in this restaurant. The food has plenty of flavor and right amount of heat in their panang curry.

The quality of the food and service will have me coming back to this local restaurant. The ambiance was good too. We had dinner early and the whole place was ours. The server knew what to suggest based on our interests. He brought each course out in perfect timing to each other as well. Here are a few pictures of what we had.

The food here is always a great value. The service is commendable, but it's more of a takeout place than a sit-down restaurant.

As a street food spot that's popular for lunch, you get different offerings here than a lot of your other neighborhood Thai joints. Sat on the outdoor patio so didn't get to see the inside much but I liked our atmosphere and service. Split the papaya salad and the Laab Moo Krob (crispy pork belly salad) with a friend and both were outstanding. From the first crispy bite of the pork belly I was in love with the texture and flavors. We added a side of sticky rice with that which was perfect. I wish I could've tried everything on the menu that day but looks like I'll just have to return as soon as possible.

I advise straying away from the noodle classics like Pad Thai or Pad See Ew and opt for a soup, chicken, or rice plates! Pretty small inside so you may have a bit of a wait but overall really quick service. I think I was the only customer in the restaurant at the time. The server was really nice and kept my water filled when I was thirsty from walking around all day. I was happy to see khao soi on the menu. I had been mixing it up with khao poun which is a different dish and doesn't have fried noodles. I like both. I was hungry and tucked in to soft noodles, crispy noodles, pickled mustard greens, onions, and in this case tofu. The server noticed my enthusiasm and said it would make him happy. I hope so, this was a lovely meal and a standout among all the chains and custom-bowl places. Would definitely return.

It's a few dollars less than the normal menu but a pretty good deal. My daughter and I ordered the pad see ew lunch, a regular Kara age chicken appetizer, and a taro boba. They also gave us a miso soup and two veggie egg rolls, unsure if that's part of the lunch special or not or standard for all done in customers, but it was a great addition! The food was delicious and made SUPER fast. I'd say we only waited about 5-7 minutes for everything. There is a lot of seating inside and the decor is really cool. The staff is really nice too!
