My coworker mentioned about this place and we were on a craving hunt. We ordered here to give it a try. We ordered the pick up special to start off and mozzarella sticks. This place is a family favorite. Whenever my in-laws come from Texas, they make sure to order the carry out special. I feel like that is a testament in of itself. Sicilian Pizza also offers a lot more than pizza! They have homemade hummus, pastas, salads, etc. It is quite an extensive menu. All of the items we've had from have been very solid. This place isn't a sit-in type of establishment, but it's perfect for when you're craving pizza and want quick service at a decent price. Perfect food for a movie or game night. read more

I've left a review of this place before. My takeaway has always been that it's better than a chain. Nothing crazy good, but nothing bad at all. You get consistent quality and the prices are fair. What I love about this place is customization. I can ask for extra toppings or omit toppings and they always get it right. I will say, if you order delivery, it will take a looooong time. They are popular and busy. Pickup is the way to go unless you're on ordering at 7pm on a Saturday and getting it at 9pm (although miraculously the food is still nice and hot). I think I can understand some of the delivery complaints. Pickup is the way to go. As for staff friendliness, I find the staff ridiculously friendly. I always forget to take a picture of my favorite Arlington Special to update this review because I'm so impatient and just start nom-nom-noming away. As I mentioned in my previous review the Arlington Special is my favorite here which is also a "bad" thing coz I can't commit to try anything else lol. What I will say is whenever I order the Arlington Special it is always consistent with yummy in my tummy flavors! Don't forget to ask for extra ranch because it just completes this meal. Food is generally fine. It is the website that needs some improvement. The form validation is not quite right...had a situation where I submitted with the wrong credit card expiration date, fixed and resubmitted to see same error persisting (something about a valid key). Also, on first submit, with credit card details, you have to press and hold to confirm you are not a bot...you do..and then you are redirected and asked to submit the form again. Just the worst. One of those instances where you can't believe that you just exchanged your hard earned money for what's being passed off as restaurant quality food. I ventured out of my comfort zone and ordered delivery from here the other night: grilled cheese w a side of fries and a baked feta marinara. The grilled cheese- what was supposed to be provolone and mozzarella I can only imagine was Kraft singles. The single slice of tomato had barely any color on it. I'm not sure that the sandwich was toasted or grilled as the bread was not at all crispy/had no grill marks. Definitely no mayo on the outside of the bread and a frying pan to really crisp it up. Grilled cheese is probably my most favorite thing to eat in the whole world. This wasn't worth the calories. Fries- pretty good actually. Crispier than I like but the best part of the meal. Baked feta marinara-- not sure what I expected here but it was certainly not a tinfoil tub of warmed up 99 cent marinara sauce from Wegman's plus maybe a cubic inch of feta cheese mixed in. Oh, and enough rosemary seasoning to feed the state of Rhode Island. The bread on the side was actually kind of nice-- crust was off but the soft inside definitely passed for focaccia. Not sure if they used the same stuff for the sandwich because it was just blah. I'd go elsewhere. read more

Tried Sicilian Pizza for the first time and I am very satisfied! I ordered delivery through Slice. The delivery was very quick... they said it would take an hour but the pizza came 30 mins early. I got the 2 Gourmet Pizza special for 19.99. I tried the Arlington Special and Buffalo Chicken. Both were hot and very tasty. Buffalo is not super spicy either. I tried to order last weekend by placing my order through their online portal. The time estimate for a no-contact delivery was 50 minutes. After 1.5 hours I called the restaurant to see if the order left and to double check if I would be alerted when the food arrived. The lady who was answering the phones picked up the first time and didn't say a word, she sat the phone down so I could hear her helping the patrons in the restaurant. The second call, someone answered and hung up. Third attempt, she answered and immediately says "please hold" and repeated what she did on my first attempt. After 2 hours I wrote to them through their online contact form requesting a refund, no one got back to me. When the delivery guy finally came 2 hrs and 20 minutes after my initial order I told him I requested a refund. I was more than willing to wait for the order of you were swamped, but poor customer service, I will not tolerate. Aside from my initial email, I left feedback. I waited a week to leave this review and find it appalling that no one from their management team reached out regarding my experience. Oh, and no refund!! read more

After a long day of moving and not eating anything since a few bites at breakfast, I decided I "deserved" pizza. I saw this place on GrubHub and since Sicilian pizza is my favorite type of pizza, I couldn't resist. I'll begin with a spoiler alert: this is not Sicilian pizza, unless I have for my whole life suffered a fundamental misunderstanding of what Sicilian pizza is. Google Images was on my side, though, in confirming that Sicilian pizza is the super thick kind, typically cut into squares. This pizza was a LITTLE thicker than regular pizza, but not "Sicilian" by any stretch of the imagination. That being said, I still liked it. My margherita pizza was delicious, actually. They used whole basil leaves to ensure you got the flavor, and it made a world of difference. Fries were also on point. Nice and crispy. Nothing is worse than bad fries. I'm not sure they actually make Sicilian--style pizza... at least not the type that anyone who has lived in or grew up in the tri-state area remembers. It wasn't Neapolitan thin, just thin in comparison to what one would expect when ordering Sicilian-style pizza... which I didn't think was going to be such an issue when ordering from a place literally named "Sicilian Pizza". Gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time around, but after receiving the same thing this time around, again, not toatally convinced "Sicilian Pizza" actually sells Sicilian-style pizza. The thing that sucked was instead of proscuitto they used country ham. It was terrible. It was soooo salty. There's a big difference between the two. The cheesy bread is delicious. The Arlington Pizza was awesome. They also have an option to build your own calzone with sauce options like pesto, alfredo and garlic sauce which we love. Received inappropriate note in delivery regarding not ordering again because 15% tip is not worth their business and the 5 min delivery drive. I've been ordering from here for years and have always tipped appropriately. I would think that during these difficult times any business would be valued. Even if the order is not worth the restaurants time they are under not obligation to accept it. I will not be ever ordering from here again. If the note didn't come from the restaurant then it came from the delivery driver and he must be employed by the restaurant because he has been the same delivery person for the entire time I've ordered from this restaurant. read more

We discovered this place after being seriously disappointed by pretty much every other pizza place in South Arlington. They have unique options, wonderful dough and fresh ingredients. Their sandwiches are especially good. I love the Italian Fest. We've had many of their pizzas... specialty and otherwise ... all delicious. The feta and spinach triangles are a house favorite along with the French fries. We've ordered from them at least 8 times .. orders are always correct and hot when they arrive. We order from here frequently because we live down the street and this is our go-to when we aren't in the mood for Ledo's (which is slightly better in our opinion). The prices are fairly reasonable, especially if they have specials. You can order online for pick-up, call to order, or get delivery. We generally opt to order online or call and then pick it up since we are in walking distance. They get backed up sometimes, particularly during Lent, but overall they are pretty efficient. A few times, the pizza has been overly greasy which took off a star. Also once we used an online coupon and paid before they called us to tell say they wouldn't honor that price. Sicilian is acceptable and good enough while not being overly special. If you aren't a Ledo's fan and want to go higher class than Domino's, this is your place. read more

We ordered a large buffalo chicken pizza through Yelp. Delivery was sooner than the hour quoted. It arrived hot and intact. I really liked that they had ranch on the side. Sometimes I like to dip the buffalo chicken pizza in ranch and most of the time places don't offer it. The ingredients were dispersed proportionately. The buffalo sauce was a nice spice level.
