Yesterday we needed to grab a quick lunch and she suggested we go there. The entrance to the parking lot is a mess, but the sandwiches are always first rate. They even have Coke in the original glass bottles without the corn syrup! My goal is to eat everything on the menu. The food is always fresh with organic ingredients wherever possible. The service is great, and the space is always sparkling clean. I'll always look here first whenever possible. I preferred Roy's food over McDonald's ANY DAY. I may have been extra influenced by my dad, who grew up on Roy Rogers comics and movies, so I grew a love for westerns. Even if the restaurant chain is relative to The King of Cowboys in name only, I love it just by the association. Time goes by, Hardee's buys Roy's and gradually my beloved chain began to disappear. Instead of offering to fix the mistake or even ask us to bring it back in (which we would've if he had asked us to), he decided to explain to my mother the terms of medium-rare and how it is "crudo", but medium-rare in spanish is medio crudo. He then, told us to google it if we wanted to know what medium rare is, like we haven't dined in at a restaurant and ordered steak medium rare before.
