Excellent dentist. My wife, all three of our kids and their spouses have all seen Dr Cunningham. Great staff too!

5.0 star rating 10/28/2018 Sid Cunningham, DDS, has been our family dentist for over 20 years. He has the doctor/dentist ability to truly listen and believe what his patients tell him in order to diagnose the problem correctly. He truly cares about his patients. He also had to accommodate some of my medical issues and has medical knowledge beyond the usual dental care. My mouth is small and difficult to work Upon my request, he has done root canals and caps in the last molars. Usually, I had been referred to a endodontist. He knows his work. Dr. Cunningham is very soft spoken and conservative in diagnosing to a fault. He has a kind heart and soul. He's been a dentist for over 29 years and both his staff and patients, like me, follow his practice from day one. His dental hygienist, Charlotte, retired. Ginger is now his dental hygienist. I wish to comment on both, because they are exceptional. Charlotte has been a hygienist for over 25 years and has worked for Dr. C for 11 years. For the person who did not like to hear about dogs, speak up! Charlotte can discuss any subject or be very quiet. She always considers the patient's comfort. In fact, her goal was to provide pain-free cleanings, and she always did. After I had jaw surgery, she is the only person I can imagine to clean my teeth. She was extremely patient and had to apply a prescribed pain killer every few minutes. When asked, she is also an educator. When Dr. C was overwhelmed with patients needing a cleaning, or Ginger cannot be there; Charlotte steps in and takes over with a moment's notice, although retired. Ginger is the only other person I can think of who can step in Charlotte's shoes. She also holds the same values of patient care as Charlotte. Patients are privileged to have their teeth cleaned here. Lisa is Dr. C's office manager. She works with insurance plans and finances. She is also a qualified dental assistant and worked as one for years. She was able to calm the patient, especially when getting a shot. Her technique should be copyrighted. She has been in the business for twenty years and plans to retire in it. Jordan is Dr. C's dental assistant. She practically reads Dr. C's mind in knowing what to do next. She is generous, caring, skillful and efficient. When a semi-emergency arose, she even took the time to go to a nearby store to try and get the item I forgot. I have never heard of an assistant who made sure that the patient (me) could continue the appointment because of extraordinary efforts that made the patient more comfortable medically. Jordan did. Dr. C's staff returns to work with him, even when they move. Three travel over an hour to be part of his staff. I highly recommend Dr. Cunningham and his staff in giving the best professional services as only true team players are able. read more

I had 3 root canals and 3 crowns and unfortunately, 5 years later I have had so many issues with the same teeth that were previously "fixed" by Dr. Cunningham. I have had to get all the crowns replaced because they were not properly done. Also, I was just told the root canal done on one of the tooth was not done properly so I now have to see a specialist to get it done again since it's causing an abscess. This has been a nightmare and costly having to get all this work done again when I had originally felt that it was properly done before. The staff at this dentistry are kind and the dentist is nice but unfortunately I did not get quality work done and I see that now since I'm having to pay so much more getting it all fixed. read more

Dr Cunningham was highly recommended by two of my friends, we switched to him from Caris couple years ago. Fantastic dentist, great staff, family-like atmosphere. When root canal or something else needs to be done- they instantly arrange an appointment with their colleagues, best in class. No need to wait for many days (that was our experience at the previous place). read more

I have been to this dentist a few times. I've had root canals, cavities, cleanings, everything. As far as the dental work I have no complaint. I am one of those people with anxiety about those wicked shots but the staff has always comforted me and did everything they could to make me at ease. Ok, so there is this one dental assistant there, I swear every time I walk in it is the same scene. Some poor sap is lying back with his mouth wide open and there she is rambling on about her dogs. I had my teeth cleaned by her once (she did a great job) and had to endure the whole thing myself. All you can say in reply of course is "glerb" "spit" "gulhuh" so you get to hear all about every little behavior trait of her beloved animals. In her station behind her there is a calendar with each month featuring different dog. So at least while you're having your mouth scraped you get the lovely view of three fine looking Shih-Tzus in a circus ring. Or whatever. Every time! I haven't heard her talk about anything else. It is kind of amazing. All in all, not a bad place. read more

I hadn't been to a dentist in over ten years! I was shaking and scared as sh--! I found it to be quite a relief when they were all so understanding (and gentle on my mouth). Everyone there from the staff to the dentist are very friendly and informative. I am about to make my second appointment! And I guess to each his own... because I was glad someone was rambling on and on about dogs, so my mind wasn't thinking about my teeth at all :) read more

I am very disappointed with the way I was treated when trying to get my insurance information, and cost for my apt. (been trying since March, to make a follow up apt from getting my X-rays done, but they had someone out, and so I had to reschedule, this was the first issue) My ins changed in April, so I called to give the info and get costs. After not getting a call back, I called, and they again said they would have to call me back. Today (2 months later) I asked for the specific information I have been requesting. I informed her I was rushed because at work .Then when I explained I am still waiting on the cost I was rudely interrupted and was given attitude after bringing up the fact I have been trying multiple times to get the cost of my apt, so I can schedule. (issue 2) The front desk receptionist (who answered today, don't know name), should of been understanding and willing to work with me, since they were not doing what they need to assist a patient, but instead she was rude and a disrespectful. I asked her a question, but she was not answering what I asked, she was talking about something I was not referring to, so I explained my time is limited, I need to get an apt, and all i needed to know was the cost. I finally got that, but then she told me no apt Till mid June. Again I have been trying for weeks to get in, I told her at that point that I would like to ask that she gets my X-rays together so I can make an apt with anther Dentist, she then said "Oh my god" under her breathe. (issue 3 - Strike 3) She said she left me a vm, but there was none, and one vm, after months of just trying to find out how much it cost, so I can make an apt, would not be justified anyways. I was clear and precise, honest and direct never rude, She did not like that I informed her of her mistake, and displayed more attitude then she should considering she works with people. People make mistakes, admitting them instead of acting as she did. Is why I will not be returning and will also let the people I have referred over (when I thought the place was somewhere i would recommend my friends to go) know. read more

I hadn't been to the dentist since I was 12. I'm 36 now, and this was a very very pleasant experience. They did a cleaning and a filling for one of my back molars. I'm blessed with strong straight teeth. The staff is knowledgable and helpful, and when my fiance went to them, she's been to many many dentists, and she loved them. She said that they were extremely reasonably priced and very gentle. we both agree 2 thumbs up. read more

She is friendly & always gets me an appointment as busy as the office is. She takes care of all and any billing or insurance needs. I cant say enough on how great the whole practice is. Dr. Cunningham is the BEST dentist I have ever been too and the only that I have ever trusted 100%. He became my dentist when I was 15 and was until I moved away when I was 29. I have been looking for his replacement ever since and if I could afford it I would travel to Austin every time I needed dental work done. You will not meet a kinder more fair dentist. The staff is awesome too. I miss all of you. Especially since I am once again searching for a dentist and trying to find one that is even close to as good as you is proving challenging. read more
