This is a must! It was fun, informative, and a unique experience. The wine tasting at 1 winery and a bottle at another is all included, as well as professional looking photos from the driver which are shared to you before the tour even ends. The driver dropped us off at another winery once the tour concluded so they can be flexible. Will do it again!

What a wonderful experience and overall fun way to experience Temecula, in a sidecar. Our driver was Bryan. He's extremely well-versed in the wine industry and also the city of Temecula. Bryan is also very attentive, reat conversationalist, and just an overall nice guy. If you're looking for a different way to experience Temecula, Sidecar Tours is the way to go. We had an amazing day with Bryan, our tour guide. He was so knowledgeable about the geography, the local ecosystems, and history; he used this knowledge to give us a deep understanding of all the factors that go into wine making and the Temecula valley as a whole. We had a great time at the wineries but more so on the road. Listening to all of his knowledge about the area was worth the trip. We recommend this tour to anyone looking for a bit more adventure than just standing around a wine tasting. We will absolutely be bringing back family and friends on this tour. Our guide was also able to recommend dinner spots in old town and, just as important, where not eat. By the end of the day, we were looking up available property to move to Temecula; one more glass of wine and we would have never gone home!

I bought a voucher from Groupon in December in hopes that I can take my wife on a unique experience for our anniversary. I was very hopeful when I saw this business because it was local, it was original, and it had good reviews. Since December, this experience has been an absolute nightmare. When I try to reserve for my anniversary, I was met with minimal responses via email, and multiple outreach to the phone number provided with zero ability to leave a voicemail and zero callbacks since December. When the business disappointed me by not reserving things for my wife and I in December, I revisited the conversation in April before my voucher expired. I tried to get things reserved again and the inbox that was responding to me failed me multiple times. They offered a refund for my voucher because they never reserved me and I accepted their offer, but they stopped responding altogether. I don't know if this is a real business, and I don't know if any of these five star reviews are real, but I have had a horrible experience and I can't get somebody to help me over the phone, via email, or even through social media. When I didn't get any responses, I reached out on Instagram and hopes that somebody would at least see my message and respond. Unfortunately, they've been extremely consistent and consistently dark. I'm going to take the time to post this review and my screenshots on every review platform until I can get my money back. As much as I know, my wife would've loved the experience, even if they offered to give me a comp session, I would not take advantage because I can't rely on them following through. I'm embarrassed to have to write this review because I would much rather support a business like theirs, but I have tried my best and my business isn't wanted.

I bought the wine tour for two about a year ago but I didn't end up using it then. Fast forward to February of 2023, and it's my partner and my anniversary. We scheduled the tour which was pretty simple via phone. They booked us for 10am instead of 1pm. I didn't realize this until afterwards. I didn't call back to switch it. Just was hoping it wasn't too cold! The whole experience was 100% percent worth it!!! Hunter was our guide and he took us to two different wineries. We went to Somerset winery and Bella vista winery. Bella vista has arguably the best views in Temecula (you can see big bear mountain from here, snow capped and everything!) Somerset has a lovey causal ambiance which is my favorite and a lovely fireplace to sit by on chillier days. The whole experience was absolutely worth it and so unique! I'd highly recommend that you try it out. The tour gives you neat information about Temecula and it's history of wine and the ride from winery to winery is lovely. We spent about 45 minutes at each winery which was plenty!

Our tour guides Bryan and Shawn were top notch. They made the experience fun, made sure we were taken care of, and shared their knowledge of Temecula. The winery stops were great with the right amount of time and wine at each. And the sidecar / motorcycle experience on the side/back roads was the best part. We were a party of 4 (two couples). Would book again and try the other tours they do.

THE MEANING OF LIFE ______________________ Life is a glorious journey full of deep and meaningful questions. For instance -- * What happens when an irresistible force meets an immovable object? * Which came first: the seed or the plant? * Is the Riemann Hypothesis true or false? * Do fish get thirsty? * Where do missing socks go? On this day, we will attempt to answer another of life's central questions -- * Is it possible for TWO DUDES to ride on ONE motorcycle without it looking/being romantic? This was a birthday gift from the wife who likes muscle and speed (obvs)... and so we rode separately with our guide "Todd" to get the full experience. After strapping in, we were ready to roll. My adventure started out slowly... but I knew this beast was capable of going much faster. And I wanted in. The rhythm of the wind sweeping over the vines, the steady howl of the wheels ripping through the burly terrain... suddenly we were defying the laws of mass and energy. Unleashed and free, this was a machine that could whisk away every trouble, if only for a little while. Pure adrenaline was pounding through my veins, and my face was frozen in a smiling position, but I didn't care. I had a sense of euphoria and liberation I had never felt before. Was it romantic? Well a lot of guys can GO GAY for a minute with the right amount of alcohol and adventure and Glee episodes in their watch-history. But not this guy. I would call it a "manly" type of romantic... MORE "OT-superbowl-victory" and LESS the "rainbow / unicorn / glitter-bomb" kind. It's only fair to admit, however... that when this onerous life gives me lemons, I make lemon meringue pie, because lemonade is for amateurs and I DO like to take it up a notch.

What a fun way to spend a day wine tasting. I surprised my girlfriend with this and we both had a blast riding down dirt roads and in between vineyards to various trendy wineries. Matt G., our guide, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. He knew the perfect spots for a photo opportunity. I absolutely loved this place and the three winery's it went to . This is such a fun experience and they make it so much more comfortable with providing blankets . Goggles and helmet . Omg to say we had a blast would be an understatement! We had the best day exploring the vineyards and we especially loved our driver Isaac. Explaining things to us and offering to take lots of photos to capture our experience! We made friends on the tour and forgot to exchange phone numbers at the end and they even reconnected us through relaying a message to each other. What a great company! What an incredible day date! My husband and I had the best time on our ride with Joseph. We were more interested in the ride portion than sipping wine but we had the best of both. This is the coolest way I've done for wine tasting. Better than horse and buggy better than private driver best way to try multiple wine cellars and have a great experience during the travel. What an experience. My wife and we're celebrating our 16 year wedding anniversary and have never been to Temecula or wine tasting. Reserved our date and time and keep in mind that was very simple. Early on the day of reservation BRYAN our guild for the day communicated with us and really tried to taker our trip for the day. RYAN is amazing,super FRIENDLY and very knowledgeable about the Temecula wine areas. He share a lot of history and showed a lot of amazing areas that you would not have seen if you did not have. Great Experience! This was so much fun and such a unique experience. Fernando and Will were the best hosts and drivers for this event. They gave us lots of fun facts about particular wineries, Temecula Valley, and the wine making process. I took my parents who are both in their 70s and they had the time of their lives too. The wine stops were really pretty and had delicious wines too! 100% recommend. I will be back! read more

When was the last time you did something brand new as an adult that was exhilarating?? Booked this for my husbands birthday and we had so much fun our faces hurt at the end from laughing so much. We visited 3 wineries and sampled some different varietals. All 3 were very different and brought their own unique experience. Our driver and hilarious guide Angel truly made it the best experience for the both of us. What a unique and informative tour! I have been to Temecula many times and done various tours. Side car was by far the most fun and informative tour I have taken. 5 star experience! Such a hip and exciting way to get around Temecula and to experience different wineries. Todd our tour guide was very friendly, funny and gave us some great history on the Temecula wineries. He made us feel very welcome and showed us a time we will never forget. Todd even took pictures of us which he sent us all included as part of the chauffer experience. A great way to celebrate our anniversary. The first winery they took us to gave us a bottle to share which we got to pick and got to enjoy it on a beautiful overlook with geese and a pond, very intimate and relaxing. The other two wineries gave us 5 tastings each and by the end of the tour we definitely felt it! Spent about 45 minutes at each winery but Todd did not rush us and even recommended which wines to taste. They even offered a discount at each winery when purchasing bottles to take home which was awesome! We drove through the Vineyards and some beautiful backroads. Do not hesitate to book your tour, you will not regret it! Also when I booked the tour they were super friendly and made it very easy. Would definitely recommend this tour for someone looking to experience Temecula wineries in a fun and one of a kind experience with excellent customer service! I came across this tour on Groupon and thought it would be an excellent date night for my wife and I. I went ahead and purchased tickets and was prompted to call and make a reservation in which I've made multiple attempts. I am currently on day 2 of calling and no response. I've sent a email and still nothing. I will update if anything new presents itself but for now one star is all I can possibly give. Really sad because this seemed like a great idea for a business. read more

Had a fantastic time on the brewery tour!! Highly recommend! We did the 5:30pm tour in July, which worked out perfectly because it had been super hot during the day but was nice in the evening. They have lap blankets if you need them, but we did not. Will definitely come back to do another tour! read more

A friend gave me this experience for my birthday back in February. Because of Covid we were unable to do it til now. All I can say is that it was so worth the wait! From before our arrival we were contacted by the person who was going to be our host for our tour. Todd or "Hot Toddy" as he is called by his friends, was our host and driver of our Sidecar. But he was so much more. His knowledge about the Sidecar, the area, the wineries and the best wines at each one was spot on! It was unrushed and very relaxing. I would highly recommend this to anyone! We look forward to doing it again or one of their other tours! read more

WOW is all I have to say! This is such an amazing experience! I've done other wine tours before, but this takes it to a different level. The excitement of being able to go off-roading and drive through the vines is the best part. My husband and I are local, so we've seen most of the wineries, but our driver Todd treated us to secret spots with spectacular views we didn't even know existed. Todd was very knowledgeable on the history of the area, the grape varieties, so our tour was also very educational. Todd was such a personable and fun tour guide. 5 stars isn't enough! This was an amazing tour! If you're looking for a unique and different look at Temecula wineries, this is the tour for you! We start at Akash winery and went to Mount Palomar winery. Mount Palomar is one of the largest wineries in Temecula and beautiful views! The next place we went to was Briar Winery, super low key and reservation only. Our driver, Jake showed us some great views and you driving through the Akash wineries to get you another great and unique view of the vineyards. I highly recommend this tour, great for a date and tasting are included at each winery you stop at. There's also a couple other options to pick and choose different wineries you want to stop instead. You will not be disappointed!!! Go book your tour now!! read more

He kind of reminds me of Larry the cable guy with a gray beard Hahaha. He was very laid back and a great people person. The bus was also very clean and had a great stereo system. We were able to plug in our phones, play our own music, full blast, no problemo. Our intentions was to visit 4 breweries in 4 hours but we were only able to make it to 3. We visited Iron Fire, Refuge and Black Market Brewing Company. The breweries are only about 5-10 minutes from each other and each one of our stops included 4 tasters. At our last stop Kenny had about 5 pizzas waiting for us. At this point I don't remember where the pizza was from, or whether it was good or not, I just remember scarfing down about three slices. We had a private group of 14 people (16 gets you a discount). Each one of us paid $90 ($76 w/ discount). Unfortunately my pregnant wife couldn't partake in the drinking part of the tour but still had to pay full price. Cash tips are also highly recommended at the end of the tour. Kenny our tour guide, does carry "Square" so your able to pay for your tour with plastic. If your thinking about booking this tour DO IT! I highly recommend it for you and your friends. Reached out to the company very very late, like 11pm on a weekday to try to get a pricing for a group, and within the hour, got a response back from Toby! Toby was sooo responsive and so helpful in his emails, not to mention down to earth so it was such an easy transaction to complete. For a group of 14 of us, it was $89 per person, that included tastings at 3 locations, beer on bus, and pizza at the end of it all! This is amazing pricing for a temecula tour. So day of, we were greeted right on time in Temecula, the bus was roomy even with 14 of us! There were 2 growlers and not only that, since it was for me and my twin's bday, they even brought 2 bottles of sparkling wine! Sooo sweet! Driving around was smooth, we drank, we laughed, we sang, we partied. Toby would go out first and get everything situated while we just drank on the bus and by the time he came back to get us, everything was ready at each location. You can choose where you would like to go as well, we did 2 wineries and 1 brewery, mix it up a bit! Toby came out and was a personal photographer for us all, which is what I always wanted! :P At the end of the tour, we ended up at Weins Brewery, there were tons of pizza to go around for everyone, and the beers were really good as well! Overall everyone was very pleased with the tour group and how well executed it was. Not only are they super friendly, they're actually efficient! She has connections at all the wineries too, and we even got an upgrade for a tractor tour that was not part of our original tour at one of the wineries. ROTTEN customer service, NO RESPONSE for MONTHS! First, the tour itself was fantastic. Our driver, Hunter, was an excellent tour guide and checked all the boxes. He and the experience get FIVE STARS. The booking process however, was an absolute nightmare. I tried to book a tour the first week after buying the Groupon for my girlfriend as a Christmas present. I called and left messages via email and via the website message option. I have never heard anything from any of these efforts to talk to someone or to converse via message. I began to read many other reviews from customers with similar experiences, and in doing so, I found a manager's contact info. This manager told me he would immediately take care of the issue and have a sales associate contact me. This never happened. Fast forward two months, and I still need to book an appointment. I went as far as opening a case with my credit card company to try and get my money back from Groupon, and this was to no avail due to shady business practices on their part and being stuck with a coupon that I couldn't even use with the SideCar Tours folks. As a last-ditch effort, I reached out to the manager, who has still not responded and tried to call the main booking number one last time before escalating my credit card case. Lo and behold, I reached an actual person, and they booked our trip. The rest was a great experience. We got a text from our driver on the day of our journey with more info, and the ride was a blast. It would have been nice to know we could/should have brought our snacks for the picnic, but we were able to buy something to make that work out. What an Experience! Sooo unique and super fun! I have to give a ton of credit to my girlfriend for booking this little adventure as a Christmas present and major kudos to So-Cal Sidecars for delivering on that experience. It started out with our driver Jake picking us up from the airstream Airbnb we were staying at around noon (he showed up in the full getup - vest, boots, helmet, rolled up sleeves ), and then we hit the road to our first winery. Part of what made it so unique is that Jake had picked out wineries that had their own unique experience to them as opposed to just going to the large commercial ones (not that those are bad, I just enjoy stories, history and things off the beaten path). While at the wineries we were free to experience it on our own and if Jake felt he needed to point something out that might be of interest he would. When we got to each of the wineries we were taken care and set up immediately with a staff member further adding to our experience. Lastly, if you've ever ridden a motorcycle you know that feeling of freedom you have while on it (the wind in your hair and on your face, the open scenery that's all around you and all of your senses taking that in while moving from winery to winery) and I have to say this was the cap to an incredibly well rounded day in the vineyards of Temecula. Thank you to Jake our driver, So-Cal sidecars for rolling out your business at the perfect time and to my lovely girlfriend for setting up an unforgettable experience! We had an amazing day visiting Temecula for my girlfriend's birthday! I surprised her with this tour, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The weather was beautiful, and our driver, Bryan, was absolutely fantastic. He really made the experience special with his knowledge of the region, the wine-growing process, and his great personality. We visited 3 wineries, each offering something unique. The first stop included a bottle of wine, and we enjoyed it at a cute picnic area by a pond while sharing a charcuterie board. At the second winery, we got a behind-the-scenes tour, saw where the wine was barreled, and even tasted wine straight from the barrel-it was such a fun experience! The last stop gave us a tasting card. The day did not feel rushed . We took our time sampling different wines and snapping tons of photos. Overall, it was a perfect day-10/10! I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Temecula. Just a heads-up, booking was a bit of a hassle, and getting someone on the phone was nearly impossible, that is why I deducted 1 star. But once we were booked, everything ran smoothly. If you go, definitely ask for Bryan. Can't wait to come back in the late spring when the wine vines are in bloom. read more

We just completed the Brewery Tour in Temecula....OMG!! They said it would be the most fun on 3 wheels but it was the most fun ever! We booked 2 sidecars for my wife's birthday and it was fantastic. The dual sidecars are roomy, comfortable and an eye catcher...we had everyone waving and giving us the thumbs up as we passed. The Brewery's were great, the beer fantastic but it wouldnt have been the same without the drivers...especially our two. Please ask for Will and Angel...they were attentive, knowledgeable and a blast to be with. It wouldn't have been the same without them and we will be requesting them for our next tour and we will definitely be scheduling another one of their many expierences. Lastly we want to shoutout the staff at Be Good from the bartenders, the Manager - Vince and Stephi our server...everyone went out of their way to treat us like royalty. Also a shoutout to Ritchie at aftershock! If you need a break from the kids and have a hankering to sip alcoholic grape juice like some fancy pants wino, but have the need for speed, then book Socal Sidecars. After listening to our kids scream because of reasons, it was time for mommy and daddy to get their drink on but someone has got to drive and I'm not going to drive while loaded up on Mount Palomar Winery's famous Cream Sherry because the cops frown upon that and we wanted something cooler than Uber so what better way than to haul a$$ with Josh in his classic hog as your wife's hair whips in your face, but you don't care because you're inebriated and wearing an awesome biker's helmet with goggles that looks so cool if someone else was wearing it. We just celebrated my friend's 39th birthday with this tour, and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The guides were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and so knowledgeable. They made sure everyone felt comfortable, answered all of our questions, and shared so much interesting information along the way. You can really tell they care about creating a great experience for their guests. They helped make the birthday celebration feel extra special, and the whole group had such a fun and memorable time. I went on a tour with my dad, but ours was in San Diego! It was absolutely AMAZING!! We had such a great time and our guides, Ray and Jaydy, made it so so fun and they knew so much about San Diego. We went through the Harbor, went right up to the USS Midway and went by the Museum of Art!! The places we went for wine and beer tasting had great environments, friendly staff and amazing drinks. And it all went so smoothly! The views were beautiful, we were constantly in awe. We live in Oceanside, but never knew how beautiful it was just 30 minutes away. Best time ever!!! This was hands-down one the best wine tasting tours of my life. So-Cal Side cars was amazing and were very hospitable. We went to 3 wineries in total and Jake who was our wonderful Side-Car chauffeur took very good care of us throughout the day! I felt very safe in the side-car as they have helmets and seat belts. Scheduled a ride to be picked up at Stanly Ranch. The hotel states they no longer partner with this company and have had multiple no shows from the companies drivers. After the review was posted we were contacted and scheduled a tour for yesterday. My parents drove 45 minutes to meet in Temecula for the tour only to have nobody show up, and nobody answer the phones to find out what was going on. Funnily enough, groupon was able to contact them immediately to "confirm they are scheduling tours" while we have yet to receive a response. This business is either a scam or horribly unorganized and unprofessional- either way I would recommend never doing business with them.

Its a fun concept; meet at a designated spot, get picked up by a cute bus that has a trolley-like…read moredesign, which then takes you to three different winery's. Debbie was our guide and Kurt was our driver. When you get to the winery, Debbie provides you with a drink card. You get six taste tests (1/3rd of a glass) that is checked off by the wine stewards. The whole adventure takes about 4 hours. Overall, it was fun and a great opportunity to try different wines and see the beautiful wineries in temecula. Now, why the 4 star rating?? ~The bus featured a great sound system where we could choose songs from an ipad. But it was unbelievably warm inside. It was a hot day and the AC seemed to not be working, leaving most of us sticky. We were told to open one window at the front and at the end of the bus to let the air flow. After the first stop, most people just opened all the windows to get a breeze. One guy was close to just taking off his shirt. ~We felt that one of our stops at mount Palomar winery was rushed. Our package did include a charcuterie. And we ordered some other appetizers right when we arrived. We ended up having to cancel them since it still wasnt done and we were heading out. This also led to rushing to get the remaining sample tastes. A reciept check showed it was a 30 min visit. ~My other minor disappointment was that our guide stated they could only take photos through their phone and not our own. But Debbie's photos often came out with this unfocused glare. Rather than something crispy clear. So we took group selfies instead. You might want to take a selfie stick.
