During the rally, this is a good spot to grab breakfast. I've never been here for any meals other than breakfast, but I've been coming here for years to fuel up prior to a long day working the rally. We were here during the Sturgis Rally, and I don't remember much about this place (must have had several adult beverages prior). They do have a stip club upstairs, and a nice outdoor seating area where you can watch the street. The food here was delicious. I ate here three times while visiting here. The fried pickles are my favorite about this place. I'll really miss those! I tried the roast beef, biscuits and gravy and the French dip. I loved all three, but my favorite was the biscuits and gravy. Yum! The soda fountain here sucks. It was flat every time I came here. Side Hack was a pleasant surprise for breakfast during the Sturgis Rally. We actually met a local waitress! Food was very good for a biker bar, and other meals looked equally fine. Beer selection and décor are outstanding, for Sturgis. read more

My wife and I were looking for a great burger and we definitely found it at the Sidehack saloon. When we went there was only one wait staff serving all of the tables but she really did a great job getting all of the orders taken and to the tables in a timely manner. Very very disappointing. Walked in to a fairly empty establishment to find a very irritated waitress. Inappropriate conversation was exchanged and an appetizer was ordered. The waitress brought our drinks shortly after and our food order was placed. From the time our drinks were dropped off to the time we walked out, almost an hour later the waitress never came back to refill drinks or to apologize for the extremely long wait. We never received our meal or appetizer, but luckily for us we witnessed why our food was so delayed. One of the people we assumed was a patron, because of the half an hour conversation he was having with his buddy in the bar, was actually the cook! Are you kidding me. The waitress was rightfully pissed off, but they then proceeded to have a loud drawn out fight in the bar about his inappropriate behavior. we continued to wait and then witnessed another couple walk in and receive food immediately. Come to find out they had a breakfast buffet, which the waitress didn't bother to inform us about. Awesome thanks! To make a long story short I left $5 for the virgin drink and we walked out of the bar still hungry. You suck! read more

Went there for supper, our waitress had 1 table before and 1 table after us while we were there. Our waitress wasn't informative about the specials or what they came with, therefore we didn't get everything that came with the meal we ordered even after asking for it, and unfortunately the food didn't make up for it either. I hope it was lack of training as she didn't seem very sure of herself-kind of felt sorry for her. Have been here in the past for supper hour and ordered a pizza-that meal was food serveice so-so,--guess when you go to a bar we should have just ordered bar food.
