    Pitchers of beer for $12
    Leslie T.

This is good sports dive bar, the food was ok ... I would not choose this place for dinner. We went to watch college football and have chicken wings. We also ordered fish tacos and a burger. It looks like they have weekly specials for lunch. They have live music on Friday nights. This is definitely a local hangout bar. The tvs are placed at the back of the bar and on a wall under the booths. Good if you are lucky enough to be at the bar not so good in the booths. The tables are located around the dance floor. Overall, a good bar for locals. There are so many sports bars in the "burg" we just wouldn't consider this our favorite. The bar tender was friendly and we liked him.

This is a cool little bar, it's relaxing and there are two pool tables you can sit out front if you like. Everybody seemed friendly enough. I haven't tried the food so this is not a full review just a small synopsis on my experience here. The drinks are affordable and the bar is neat and clean

Buffalo Chicken tenders from the appetizer menu.

Okay, I didn't take the time to write a review last time because I was too eager for my Buffalo chicken tenders. Let's start with the po-boy. Fresh shrimp with a light and crispy, well-seasoned batter. I'm having to eat some of the shrimp just so I can close the thing. Fries are seasoned with salt and pepper and beat the pants off of any fries I've had around here. Five Guys comes close. The hoagie is buttered on the inside and toasted on their griddle. You may find a better one on the coast (maybe), but not anywhere else in Hattiesburg. The cafe itself is spacious with plenty of bar and table seating. They have a stage and a couple of pool tables and a dart board inside, as well. They will be hosting live music again this weekend. Best group of bartenders. Tip them well because they work their butts off for their customers. My favorite place is the patio. Even during the hottest part of the day the fan placement keeps it surprisingly cool. I'm not a huge sports fan, but if you want to catch the game, or any game for that matter, they have a TV with it on. Alright, I'm done. Don't be a sheeple and get out of the house. Coronavirus is over with.

The lighting is a bit dim for our old eyes but otherwise it has the feel of a pub. We loved that. Our server was very nice and helpful. We ordered the bacon cheddar fries. The fries are like a cottage fries that are then cut into strips. Perfect fry on them. The bacon could have been crispier but great flavor and a good ranch. I had the KPauls pasta. We all enjoyed it. Pasta cooked perfectly al dente. If you love a saucy pasta this isn't for you. It is nice and creamy but not swimming in it. Big plump shrimp that tasted great. Also has chunks of chicken breast and sliced sausage. Uncle Jim got the red beans and rice. Great flavor but barely warm. The catfish is a thicker cut and battered in a coarsely ground corn meal. Aunt Robin had the shrimp and grits. Those were the star of the show. So creamy and incredible flavor. Very generous amount of nice sized shrimp. Mike had the Keg Stand burger. He requested the sauce on the side. It's definitely a unique flavor. Nice soft bun. The meat was grossly over cooked but would have been tasty had it not been so dry. The onion rings that came with the burger were soggy. Overall, enjoyed it. We know what to get next time. Shrimp and grits and KPauls pasta!!

Our server, Cameron, was kind, patient, and attentive as we waited for our friend to arrive. He was also extremely knowledgeable about the menu, and offered great suggestions based on his personal favorites. We started with the crabmeat wontons, which I was expecting to favor traditional rangoons, but these were crispy gyozo dumplings, filled with a savory and smooth blend of crab and cream cheese, and served with sweet chili sauce. They didn't last long on the table :) Even my husband, who usually doesn't like seafood, dug in! Intrigued by the subtle twist on a classic, my husband chose the fried chicken and beignets. I was allowed a bite :) and it was hard to stop there! The flavor of both components was outstanding, and the crispy texture, perfect. I wasn't quite as hungry, so I asked if I could do a classic Caesar salad and add creole shrimp. When I say this was the best salad I've ever had, I'm not exaggerating! The flavor of the dressing was so simple yet rich, the croutons were light and tasted freshly-made, and the shrimp were deliciously savory, with a blackened flavor that exceeded my expectations. All in all, a great dining experience that we will share with others traveling through the area, and will repeat if we're ever back!

The bartender recommended a few things, including some selections not offered on the menu so again something to ask about if you don't see exactly what you want.
