Our outstanding bar tender was Kenna! She was quick to service and recommended some great dishes. We had a party of 4, and had rave reviews of the Cheesesteak, chicken, and burgers. I've had poor experiences with the sidelines restaurants in the past. My family of 5 got sat at a small booth with a chair at the end for the 5th person. We were also seated at a table that was not cleaned from the previous customers and the table still even had a check at it. Customer service was very poor and we almost left before we were finally asked what we'd like to drink. All the food was good besides the coleslaw which tasted like it was spoiled or maybe way too much mayo. We also all asked for ranch with our meals and didn't even get it until we were all almost finished with our food. Fruit flies flying around during our meal as well. I wouldn't recommend going here for an overpriced family lunch. Sadly, another poor experience at a sidelines restaurant. read more

Ok...so our waitress was decent in checking up on us for drinks but...... when it came time for our bills, there was 3 separate couples that paid with cash. The waitress brought our change and shorted all of us our change by only bringing us dollar bills and none of our change. Example: one of our tabs ended with .24 and she rounded down shorting us .76 cents on that bill alone. All of the tabs was shorted down. I am a great tipper, I don't need a business to short me and my friends because they don't want to make change or maybe increase tips. Anymore, most businesses charge a fee for using a credit card, not cash. I could understand if this was a one off but not when it affects my whole group and appears to be a practice. I do not recommend this restaurant for this practice. Update: This was apparently not a normal practice for this restaurant and the manager has addressed it. I get my food & theres 3 little pieces.. Called. Spoke with a manager & was told there was nothing they could do....was basically hung up on... because I'm a little frustrated that I spent almost $20 on three ass little pieces of chicken.. So I paid full price for an entrée of 3 pieces of grilled chicken strips. I'm sick. I'm very unhappy. & it costs me nothing to give your shit establishment, a poor rating on a very highly regarded restaurant site... you wanna treat customers like trash? That's fine. I can treat your restaurant the exact same fucking way. Again, like I said what happened to customer service ??. It went in the shitter once Covid happened ... I've been to that establishment since before it was even opened when it was Oscars roadhouse ... Update: I greatly appreciate that Eric (co-owner) reached out to us about what happened. (Thank you) I am hopeful our experience was only a one time occurrence. We do plan on going back. As I mentioned prior the wait staff has always been great! We have come here before and had good service and good food, and this time our service was still very good. However this time my issue is with the kitchen. All of our orders came out wrong. I ordered the macaroni and added buffalo chicken and sautéed onions. My husband ordered the patty melt burger medium. My macaroni came out with raw onions and the burger came out well done instead of medium. Our server was great, she offered to have my macaroni re-made or a side of sautéed onions, I went for the side. My husband asked for a new burger. Average bar food, average service as well. I do really like their fowl balls (boneless chicken wings). This is the best sidelines in the chain for sure. Their side salads are very good, they have very good ranch. They have a cheese dipper appetizer which is very good, but is definitely store bought. read more

I am so surprised by the negative reviews of this place. Our experience was the complete opposite. We came in a party of 13 women who meet once a month at local restaurants for dinner. Some of us arrived a little earlier and sat at the bar for drinks. We were greeted promptly, and at one point the manager came over to introduce herself and asked if we needed anything. Mandy and her staff were fantastic throughout the entire evening. The food was delicious and hot and our server was quick, friendly and was always around when we were needing anything. We are definitely adding Sidelines Italian into our rotation of monthly nights out. Stop by and see Mandy and her crew. You won't be disappointed! read more

I can see from the mixed reviews how service can be lacking especially when they get real busy. This is a sports type bar. We did ok at the bar though. Our service was decent our drinks were spirited, and our pizzas were quite tasty. My wife had chicken ranch pizza 9" pie and I had pepperoni mushroom and onion in a 9" pie. I also took a cowboy burger home to take to work the next day. That burger was the best I've had in a while. Only Dans Tavern in Saline makes a better cowboy burger that I've experienced ....so far. It was too poopy to use the outside patio but judging from the number of people inside on a Sunday afternoon ... I'd say the good experiences outnumber the bad. We like it. No Keno though. read more

I booked the hall in the basement of Sidelines Lambertville for my Mother's funeral reception. I was originally leery using a basement, but I was pleasantly surprised. The stairs going down are wide, and the hall is clean and bright. There is plenty of seating, and it has its own bar. The GM (Bryce, right? Sorry if I got your name wrong!) took care of everything. He even kept the food warm for us when we ran a little later than expected. Everyone enjoyed the food (hot food was served hot, cold food cold, as it should be). Would definitely use this space again. Expect to pay for catering, it wasn't cheap but the food is good quality and tasted great. My only negative? No bathroom in the hall, you have to go upstairs. read more

Food is so-so and the tap beer tastes watered down. I ordered the chicken wings and onion rings which were ok. The breading on the wings is thick and crunchy which is a nice change from traditional wing breading. The service was kind of slow.....seems the bartender was too preoccupied with some of the workers who came in to drink. Food is pretty good, with an emphasis on BBQ. Their standard sauce is really good and has enough taste to be good but doesn't make my mouth feel like it's on fire. I think they have some other sauces for wings. Beer selection here is weak, with only a few taps of non-standard beers. I'd have given 4 stars if the beer was better. Service has been excellent the few times that I've been here, with the waitress being quite attentive. And while the staff has been great and helpful the food has not been the same. It's not every time we order but enough that it's brought me here. Tonight's order consisted of a side of Mac n cheese that I was up charged $2 for and my sons easy Mac comes with more than what I got! I got more fries that I paid 69 cents for! This place is always crowded and I don't understand why. I've been to this spot on three occasions. In my opinion, the food is very average bar food. On my last visit with my family, we were a group of six and were told there would be a 20-minute wait. As 20 minutes became 30 minutes, we checked with the hostess and were told we should be seated soon. Long story short, we still weren't seated after an hour. There were empty tables that could have been pushed together to accommodate us, but that didn't happen. The hostesses were indifferent to the length of our wait & simply told us that another group was lingering at the table where they planned to seat us. We requested a manager, but no one ever came to address us. Their lack of concern over our lengthy wait led us to leave and go elsewhere. I never plan to return. Update: Guess I shouldn't be surprised that Management didn't reach out to apologize for our bad experience, but it only underscores that this place is not customer oriented, from my experience. read more

Sidelines is apparently trying to cut costs and is doing it by cutting a really decent chicken breast sandwich into a fillet that was about3/4 of an inch thick to almost an1/8" and then grilled it bone dry. And the kicker is that it was their Ultimate chicken melt. Huge disapointment, used to be much better. Still good margaritas. read more

Felt compelled to leave my first review ever. Went in on a Saturday around 2 pm. Not busy at all, yet our waitress proceeded to forget about us. I've been here at least 20 times and never had a bad experience until today. Our waitress delivered our food and never returned. No drink refills, nothing!! She finally did bring us our bill though!! I ordered a blt knock out burger . There was melted hard plastic in my burger... That I almost ate! Since my waitress was nowhere to be found I eventually had to alert the bartender of my issue! The " manager" tried to tell me it was the plastic between the cheese?! Ummmm first that's usually paper and it's not purple!! Finally agreed to take it off my bill. Soooo disappointed ! Gross! My daughter had the bacon burger which was so burned it was inedible but the bacon was so under cooked that it looked raw. The boneless chicken tasted decent but made me ill not long after we got home. The waffle fries tasted like they were microwaved, they were rubbery yet hard. I will never go here again. read more
