My Mom and I went here for lunch, when I ordered a cup of coffee, it had lipstick all over the cup, and I sent it back, and when My Mom was sipping on her cup of coffee, when she got to the bottom of the cup, it had a small cup of someone's half eaten coleslaw inside of her coffee cup... I have been coming here for years. Love their food. The last 2 times I ordered a carry out my order was wrong. Last week I ordered a pastrami and when I got home it was corned beef, which I don't like. I also checked at the sandwich before I left and it wasn't griiled so I sent it back and had them grill it. The potato latkes are delicious. I ordered the "healthy omelet," which was decent (and enormous), but the latkes were the real treat. Coffee is diner par for the course. Food portions are huge and inexpensive. Typical diner decor, place is loud but comfortable in its way. Overall a great value for surprisingly good food. read more

This place used to be fantastic. The quality and portions were outstanding. Several months ago I noticed a change in both quality and portion size. I stayed away for awhile hoping things would improve. Recently, I went back and it was lackluster to say the least. The $10 Linde salad used to be something special, loaded with cheese, turkey and bacon. Needless to say the portions are about 1/4th of what you used to get and not as high in quality either. I stop here often to pick up a sandwich on my way home from work. My husband and I split one and that is plenty for both of us. It can be a bit slow at the take out counter during rush periods, but it's fast if you're eating in or taking out during off hours. Yesterday, they had homemade knishes. They were fabulous. Even though I bought the Reggie for us to eat for dinner, the knishes looked so good I couldn't resist. I'm heating them up for lunch now. Can't wait.... read more

We have been looking for a good Jewish deli in Michigan and found it here at Siegel's. The pastrami sandwich is awesome. The cabbage soup is also good. Bagel and lox was worth the price. We will definitely be coming back. read more

The whole crew from my company went here every one ordered I ordered half a Sabo sandwich #14 and mish mash soup the waitress says sorry but you can't get a half of that sandwich cause it's on an onion roll so I say ok I need a minute after 2 minutes the waitress comes back I say I'm not ready yet she says well you can get half of the #14 sandwich's say ok then she says but you can't get the mish mash soup needless to say we all got up and left they lost out on our business and we would've eaten there multiple times instead none of us will ever go back also the prices on the website are less than the prices on their menu read more

I'm comparing price/value/quality with other similar places. Just a few miles away is the Stage Deli. Sure it has a little more atmosphere, but is somewhat ostentatious and pricey, even compared to the Carnegie (NY and Las Vegas), and Katz's (NY). Siegel's is just a down home no frills "Kosher style" deli with good food and very reasonable prices. The service was excellent! Without comparing to other delis, I would still give Siegel's a good to very good. read more

Crazy time Sept 30 2016. Bought a bowl of Matzo Ball Soup for $3.73 and handed her a Visa Card. They take Visa and the machine was working. She screams at me "NO CASH CASH" I told her I want to use my Visa. She screams at me "NO CASH CASH!!!" Then she yells "GET OUT GET OUT!!!!" I said no I want to pay for my soup. My boss offered to buy lunch for my six coworkers and I for my birthday. I wanted Siegel's deli. My friend and I ordered a #6 Reggie corned beef or pastrami on rye with swiss cheese and Russian dressing and cole slaw. We asked for it with corned beef. After being at work since 5am we were starving. We opened our sandwiches and it was nothing but a ton of corned beef and bread. No cheese or cole slaw. I called up to Siegel's and spoke to a woman on the phone who instead of correcting the mistake wanted to argue with me and treat me like a moron. Over $100.00 worth of food ordered and not an ounce of decent customer service. I will not be back to Siegel's deli. Also the desserts that we wanted that were on the menu were not available. As a deli meat lover I always get a big old corned beef and pastrami sandwich. This place has some of the best deli meats in the area and you get a generous portion. Not too expensive either. Honestly the food here is much better than the food at the higher priced delis around the area. Also try their homemade creamy garlic salad dressing, very very good. read more
