We got there around 11pm to gamble, drink, and get some food. The lady who first served us made delicious drinks and was very attentive. Only thing is she let us know at 11:52pm that the kitchen was closing at midnight which was a bummer because we were waiting for the happy hour menu that started from midnight to 2am... just odd to make a happy hour then close the kitchen. Anyways we order our food as we had been waiting the whole time. End up getting charged regular price. Then the bartenders switch at midnight. Male bartender takes over. He seemed like a good vibe until we get our check and end up getting charged all of our drinks that we received since he took over even though we had been gambling the entire time... What should've been a bill for 3 chicken tenders and the carne asada bites turned into $40 and charged us for 3 drinks. Always a good place to go and chill, eat, drink and meet with friends. I like this location which is on Smoke Ranch and Buffalo because it's not Smokey or crowded. Very chill. They have plenty of seats that aren't at the bar if you don't care to play slots. The food is good, decent portions and I love their fries options! I always get my tater tots or curly fries here. Their chicken wings are a hit! Pizza is a good size. I like the supreme or cheese best. I wouldn't mind more options on dessert tho or milkshake yummm. Just got my food, I ordered the Italian sandwich which is supposed to be grilled not burnt. Half the sandwich had one piece of meat on it I asked for coleslaw instead of fries and the tiny little container looked like they put cabbage on the bottom about half full then just threw some bottled coke slaw dressing on top, it wasn't mixed. We were here a week ago and had a female bartender who was the absolute worst. We chose this location because it is one block from our house. Recently moved to Vegas and excited to have a cool place to gamble in walking distance. Don't remember her name but it started with a C. I think it was Connie or Carol. We were so offended with the things she was saying that we left. The entire time my boyfriend and I were there, she was saying the most inappropriate things. I could not believe it. Every other word out of her mouth was a curse word. In 45 minutes, she must've said the F word 50 times. Loudly. She also, quite loudly, had a lot to say politically which is definitely not a good idea. Hundred percent she completely offended 50% of the patrons. The entire bar could hear her expressing her personal political beliefs She seemed to treat this establishment like her backyard. Absolutely zero professionalism. On top of that, she had a scowl on her face at all times and said hello to new customers walking in the door as if she hated them. Like it pained her to say the word hello. She was also talking about customers who did not tip her well. Again, loud enough for the entire bar to hear her frustration and disappointment. We constantly go to this bar, today we were informed by Ryan that the comp policy changed,l for people playing machines, he didn't explain that comp policy to anyone but else, anyways, today while playing the machine my husband accidentally pressed cashed out and didn't realize, HOMER the bartender then proceeded to get the $1.00 and toss it to my husband shouting out "BIG MONEY". EVERYTIME we come to this bar, he's so rude and acts like he owns the bar. My husband then proceeded to attempt to call him over so we can get change, he ignored my husband because he was talking to other customers, Ryan then came and my husband explained to him that it was extremely rude what he had done and that he was ignoring him, HOMER came over and stated we were being annoying and that we were interrupting him there was no need for him to act smart, and rude we simply wanted change. Ryan apologized and explained it might have just been a joke, and he would talk to him. Tonight we spent over $400 between food, tipping and the machine. There was no need for him to treat us any different from anyone. HOMER then continued to get smart with my husband shouting across the bar to my husband and our group. It ended up getting into a heated argument, he continued to tell my husband he was a clown and to finish his FREE beer. I asked Ryan who the manager was, so we could speak to her they told me Kristy was however she was not on the clock but she was playing pool? She then came over told HOMER to drop it and threatened to call the cops or we had to leave. I asked her I thought you weren't on the clock? But you can kick us out? She should've asked us what happened and corrected her employee. As she is a MANAGER. EVERYTIME we come to this bar we are well taken care of by the girls, we tip good, we spend hard earned money like everyone else and this is EXTREMELY unacceptable, this bartender always treats everyone less, there was no manager on the clock bartender acting like an A****** , we will not be coming here again and will make sure reach out to corporate. The Ahi tuna salad here is FIVE STARS!!! I'd give it a million stars! Chef Memphis nailed it!! I paid the extra $ to add extra ahi tuna and ate it as two meals and let me tell u it was soooooooo worth it!! Delicious is an understatement! Millers doesn't do that, why not? The Summit doesn't do that, why not. Reasonable and the food was very very delicious. What a surprise. I go there for Holiday events with RRDC and always a nice time and nice food. But going in on my own and just wanting to have a bite. No other pub does this anywhere. Why not. Came here on a Sunday for a friends birthday and to watch some football. Was pleased to see they reserved the private room so we could watch the games without worrying about space. Loved that we got two TV's as well as some comfy couches to relax on. We even got a server to bring us our food and drinks. I will say the service was good. They stayed on top of a group of about 10-15 of us pretty nicely. Now I have to talk about the food. I have to say sadly I was not impressed at all. We ordered the sampler platter which came with pretzel bites, quesadilla, fried ravioli, and pickle chips as well as an order of chicken nachos. We definitely had to wait a bit for the food but with a group that was very much expected which was fine. But the food just came out cool and just really was your basic bar food. I did not think that any of the food was very good. Almost taste like the food was frozen and thrown in an air fryer. So sadly I don't know if I would eat here again. Drinks were good, so no complaints there. Overall was a fun time and loved being able to have our own room, and really was surprised it wasn't busier for a Sunday football day. Not so good tonight. The hot dog specials were a joke - dried up and small. The only fixings were packets of mustard, ketchup and onions. Very 'high school football game' quality. The Cobb salad wasn't much better. The avocados were brown and all of the lettuce was wilted. They also didn't put any dressing on the salad. The kitchen took forever! The service was painfully slow. I used to frequent this location when I worked nearby. I enjoyed good food and drinks on a consistent basis. I brought my out-of-town guests there for breakfast yesterday at approximately 9:30 am, Sunday July 11, 2021. The service was NON-EXISTENT. The four of us sat in the booth directly in front of the bar. The "bartender" clearly saw us, but totally refused to acknowledge us, bring menus or anything! I've honestly never been totally ignored like this before. After patiently waiting for nearly 20 minutes, we got up and left. We went to Steiner's down the street and were graciously taken care of with first rate service. I think it will be just a matter of time before the incompetent help is fired. She was busy chatting it up with one bar patron whom she obviously knew. I was surprised to be treated like that in a PTEG establishment. They are normally very consistent with service and products. I won't be the least bit surprised to see this location on an upcoming episode of BAR RESCUE with Jon Taffer. He would definitely have some choice words for the incompetent staff. UPDATE.... I find it very interesting that there are other reviews in the past month or so with other customers having similar poor experiences. I have never been to Sierra Gold or a PTs before. My husband and I were in the area and decided to stop by for dinner the other night. I did see their "Coming Soon" sign weeks ago, and noticed that they must have finally opened because the parking lot was full. One of the bartenders immediately greeted us when we walked in. You can choose to sit wherever you want. Our server was pretty friendly. She explained some of the menu items to us and convinced us to get a Beer & Bites Club card. Its free and you earn 1 point for every dollar spent. When you reach 100 points, you get $5 in comps. Not sure what other benefits it has, but I guess we'll find out some day. We decided to order a bunch of appetizers: -Crisp Fried Mozzarella: warm and cheesy. Nothing too special, but it was good. -BBQ Pork Stuffed Potato Skins: Very tasty and my favorite so far! The pork was juicy and they give you more bbq sauce on the side. -Boneless Teriyaki Wings: not too bad, but the Teriyaki sauce was a bit on the salty side. Overall, a nice place to eat, drink, watch sports and relax. This location is a popular spot for the locals. It was really busy while we were there, which explains why our server took a while to check up on us and get our refills after we got our food. Came here for happy hour with some girlfriends after a long day. You definitely cannot beat their drink specials, $7 for two rum and diet cokes. Yes please, all day. The service was good too. Our waitress consistently checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Not sure on the choice of apparel but hey it's Vegas so maybe they're just trying to fit the scene. This is a very attractive bar, lots of wood, and black and white and sienna posters rimming most of the walls, with vibrantly colored ones on one of them. Almost all the tables in the restaurant area are pub tables, with very comfortable stools. There are a few booths in the back, but these are all a step up. I'm always looking for places to go for Happy Hour but, unfortunately, this won't cut it. One of my friends is in a wheelchair and there is absolutely no way to accommodate her if she's with us, which is nearly always. Seems to me this is a violation of ADA regs, and I brought it to the attention of the management. But we were here for dinner, so it wasn't an issue. I was happy that they had some very good cider on tap, and Herb had a huge beer at a good price. I checked the menu online before we went, and he was looking forward to the Beef Stew special to go along with it, but alas, it was nowhere to be found on the extensive menu. They did have a big Greek salad with chicken, so he enjoyed that. My Turkey with Avocado and Swiss sandwich had lots of avocado, not a lot of cheese (which is okay with me and my doctor), and a good amount of turkey. But the turkey was way too salty. The cole slaw that went along with it (instead of fries) was good and plentiful. Overall, I really like Sierra Gold, because I like the atmosphere.
