Was here for 5 hours playing my music along with other bar guest my seveee said she loved it the cooks loved my Choice of music. Zero complaints even from the "manager@ whom been there the whole time I was. Then around 5 bartenders switch and a pregnant bartender screamed out to stop playing my music. First of alll very disrespectful. Second of all we're way past $5. She then riled up one of the bar patrons. Mind you we've been there 5+ hours no complaints same patrons and bartenders. Not only did she get riled up she had some bar patrons chase us out and get crazy with me when mind you never left my seat never got loud i definitely called her a B word and she got her feeling is hurt apparently. This bar is ran by MAGA I was the only person of color there having a fine time until this pregnant bartender came and riled up the patrons. I played a few of my songs and the other patrons played a few of their music. It was a balance. I've never been kicked out of a bar for anything let alone music I payed for to be played. I will never come back here. As I was leaving a patron came up to me at the door and attempted to chase me out and send someone in there car to follow me. For what? My music choice? This is insane. I am sitting here, gambling well over $500 to $600 turned over. I see the waitress favor regulars and comp them without gambling. My drink is empty as I gamble 2 to 5 dollars per go. Sitting here for 2 hours now, I have had 3 drinks while I watch the waitress feed people not even gambling with free drinks. Every time she looks at my empty cup she ignores it and moves on. We went in for dinner. The ambience was very lively. Music was loud. The bar area was busy with some tables full. They have darts, pool and shuffle board. Once seated we were greeted quickly and brought our drinks quickly as well. They had happy hour but we chose to have the cheese nachos which was large and delicious a bit spicy but good. My husband ordered the patty melt with fries. I had fish and chips. Mine had good flavor the fish was tender. The fries had great taste. The hush puppies were good too. We stopped in one evening when we felt like getting out of the house. It was around 7:45pm. The music was LOUD and the one of the bartenders was even louder. We were a bit surprised by the volume for what we anticipated to be a chill pub like atmosphere. All that being said, our server was wonderful. She replenished drinks , fetched condiments, and even made drink suggestions. The drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. The food was to be expected, greasy pub food. We visited on Thursday for lunch with a party of three and it was a good experience. We entered and sat our selves at a nice table, with very comfortable, cushioned chairs. The waitress came over after a bit and took drink orders. The margaritas were tall and strong. We started with Loaded Skins and a Flatbread Pizza for appetizers. The pizza was obviously a pre-made frozen pizza, but that's ok, it was tasty. The main issue is that both apps were served at room temperature, not really hot at all. From there we went with a Beef Dip Sandwich, Tri Tip Sandwich, and a Meatball Sandwich. All were well prepared and presented. The Meatball could have used a bit more sauce. I was going to give this place one star yet I didn't feel that was relevant. We didn't even try the food. When we walked in the noise level was equal to sitting in the first to third row seat's of a heavy metal concert. On top of that was the screaming patrons at the bar. So we seated ourselves. Looking across at my wife I knew this was not for us. Meanwhile in the brief time we were in the place I felt as if I had smoked three cartons of cigarettes. There is no way to hold a conversation of any sort without doing a laptop dance and screaming at your partner. After consideration I think 1 star was a fair rating. I really don't care to sample the food as I can only imagine it tastes like cigarette butts. I am 59 with my wife being a few years younger and we enjoy a good night out. This place was just so outrageous we left within minutes and enjoyed a very nice meal and evening out down the street. That is after our ears stopped ringing and my lungs cleared up from smoke inhalation. Real bummer as I really thought this place looked fun. This is my favorite spot on this side of town. The atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming. I often go there in my slippers to watch a game or play some pool. The bar games are cheap, The food menu is surprisingly good (worth the visit alone). Some of the staff has been there for a really long time so you can tell they care about their locals. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place. The service is honestly poor!! The bartender saw me come in and sit down at a table and though i'm sitting there for nearly 15 minutes, without being serviced, she never acknowledged me once or told anyone that I was waiting. Fast forward some lady finally comes over to help me and she was just not friendly! Very straight to the point, no smile, just glares. Ordered my meal without pork, received my meal with pork, then was unable to get it remade because it's a pre made dip. Cool! Kinda gross but cool! Ended up ordering some wings with my salad and the chef gave me some extra to make up for the pork. That was kind of him, which is where the extra star comes in! Aside from that, I wasted a meal here. My server proceeded to leave me waiting at longs spurts of time so that wasn't fun. If I didn't have a conscience (or had cash) I would've just left. The first night I think when the new menu just rolled out the spaghetti and meatballs was really good but it was not even hot. The first time we ordered it, the pasta came with 2 garlic bread. We came back 5 days later and it only came with one bread and charged us around $2 for another one. The second time my entree sides were completely cold. My bf and I decided to give this place a try. This used to be Timbers before. The place reeked of smoke as we walked in. The decor was pretty much the same when it was timber. We went around 4 on Saturday so it was virtually empty. We were greeted by a friendly waitress as soon as we walked in. The menu boasts a mix of Italian dish and bar classics. We ordered chicken wings and several items on the happy hour menu.There were Buffalo cheese fries, Chicken tacos and Cheese quesadilla. There was drinks on happy hour too. I liked the wings and the rest was ok. The food iems on happy hour is only $5 and the portion were big so can't complain. They have quite a few TV's and also foid specials on game days. We came to this bar to watch the Knights game. My husband frequents this spot with his friends. They have very reasonably priced drinks and appetizers during their happy hour. Beers were 3.50 and I believe well drinks were 5. We also got a giant pretzel and some fried mozzarella for 6 each. It is definitely typical bar food but tasty. I really liked their chairs as they were super comfortable. We also ordered breakfast food, French toast and eggs/hash browns/ bacon. They were actually cooked really well. I liked that they turned off the music and then turned up the sound for the game. There were also lots of TVs all around the bar so you could easily see from wherever. I am never a huge fan of bars that allow smoking, but I get that it is kind of a Vegas thing and true lots of places. I would describe Bogeys as a nicer than average dive bar.
