simple bathroom that worked and was clean.

A nice little motel, nothing fancy, but well equipped and with an office that is open late. I came here after not being able to get into my reserved room at the nearby Motor Lodge motel (read my review about that motel). The Sierra Inn is an old school U-shaped motel with parking in front of your room and all the basics inside (think, fridge, flat screen, A/C etc). It has a bit of a checkered past, but has been fully upgraded and the rooms no longer have shag carpeting (thank goodness). Let's take a minute to talk about air conditioning, on the day I arrived it was 110 degrees, regardless of being a dry heat, it was still very hot. The room had an under window unit that chugged along all night, pumping out cool air with minimal noise, a must-have in places like this. It's not the best motel in Prescott, but it was open when I needed it and the staff was very helpful.

The beds were like sleeping on springs, pillows were worn out and not even the slightest firm, door had scratch marks taking off the paint from the inside door, chairs were all worn out-fake leather, tub not supported on bottom-could fall thru, room not represented on website -don't look like any as seen, no loveseat in room, and breakfast is a take and go in a brown bag-not a hot breakfast-no juice-nothing. Floor lamp not plugged in and in corner was dust bunnies. And we had to tell the clerk all these items so we didn't get charged for these things. The TV remote would not turn down the volume. Front desk asked if we saw the 2nd remote-we said there was not a second one! Pool looked nice.

This place may not look like much from the outside, but the remodeled rooms are beautiful! The customer service is wonderful! You can tell that the owner takes a great deal of pride in his property! This is the second time we have stayed here (it was formerly the Budget Host Inn). I didn't realize until we arrived that this was the same place we stayed in a few years ago. We have had a great experience every time and will definitely be staying here next time we are in town!

Nicely remodeled bathroom, spotless.

We understand that they have 12 rooms each with their own bathroom. we really enjoyed seeing the different rooms, the sizes and the colors. They all have different names, They do have different price points and of course, depending on if it's during the week, weekend or even holidays. This place is located right downtown in the restaurant and bar area easy access to shopping eating and drinking We also found out that they have an indoor space as well as the outdoor event space. Many times walking past and we have seen plenty of people at the outdoor events. It is a really cool hotel and venue. As it turns out, they own this hotel, restaurants, and one of our favorite speakeasies down in the valley called the "White Rabbit ". I cannot wait to share this place with my out-of-town guest. I WOULD RECOMMEND

We were in Rough Riders which happens to be at the back stairwell so no other room on that side. The window faces opposite of the courtyard and not much view but that was fine for us. The AC was a little loud, but also fine for us as we like a little noise when sleeping. The bed was comfy and the 11:00 check out was great. There is not an ice maker but small bags of ice are available at the hydration station. There is no mini fridge or microwave but since it is on the row there are so many eateries within walking distance for all meal times. It was so nice and convenient that my daughter and I are heading back there soon!

Had a an overnight stay here and location was great close to many nearby spots…read more Checkin was frustrating as I arrived a little after 1130am (understandably early) but even by 1pm they said my room wasn't ready. I've had many hotels allow for early check in if the rooms are available or for a small fee. So this policy felt inflexible. The room was very small but fine. The bathroom is tiny as well. The bed was not comfortable and quite noisy when moving. Staff didn't feel particularly friendly to me. Overall a quaint town but if i did return I would probably not choose this hotel.

If you have any physical disabilities, this isn't your hotel…read more First note: there are very few parking spaces reserved for disabled customers, and the only one available when we arrived was on the other side of a busy street away from the hotel. Moving suitcases across a street with vehicles driving much too fast was harrowing: there's no crosswalk available unless you want to climb the hill to cross the street at the traffic light, a difficult task considering that I've recently had both a total knee replacement and total shoulder replacement surgeries in the recent past. The little turnout (closest to the front desk) for people arriving at the hotel had a couple,of service vehicles parked there where they sat for quite some time, and the lack of handicap parking slots (there are only two on the street-side where the hotel is located), making it necessary to park across the street in a parking lot reserved for hotel guest vehicles. Attended a meeting over dinner and the food was terrible. What was served as salad appeared to be rotting, maybe a couple of tablespoons of lettuce? Food was tasteless and overly expensive. The service was good, but the dining area was crowded and it was difficult to hear each other. The coffee was uninspiring. We reserved a room as we knew it would be much too later to attempt a drive home. Our room's bathroom was filthy, and the room itself smelled like cigarettes and marijuana. We ignorantly had asked for a non-smoking room and were advised that theirs was a non-smoking facility, but this room got by the housekeeping staff... and smelled very bad. There were no rooms that we could move to. To be fair, the people at the front desk were very nice -- and accommodating -- but there wasn't much that could be done for us. Our choices were to keep the room or drive home... a refund was out of the question. The elevator to the rooms is located on a platform above the level of the front desk, accessible only through climbing steep stairs, and while our suitcases and other bags were lifted to the elevator platform level by a hotel employee when we checked in, upon leaving the next morning, I nearly fell trying to carry a single bag -- a suitcase -- down the stairs. There's no wheelchair ramp that would have made it much easier to roll the bags down to the level of the front desk, so I guess that ADA compliance isn't a priority here. I believe this is dangerous... and could easily result badly for older guests and anyone disabled. It's too bad that hotel management has chosen to turn a blind eye to the needs of disabled customers, as this hotel could be a masterpiece for Prescott visitors. As for the room that smelled of cigarettes and pot, it's a shame that selfish people have such little regard for others. I don't think we'll be returning.

Yeah, there was a loss of communication on the ability to check in after hours (their office hours end at 5 pm on weekdays and 7 pm on weekends). I ended up staying at a nearby motel, the Sierra Inn, just down the street (see my review of that place). I did return the next day and I got a refund (all but the non-refundable $25). Kaylee was especially kind in helping me get my refund. I hope I get a chance to stay there on the next trip thru Prescott. NOTE - this motel has the shortest office hours of any that I've ever stayed at, but they do have digital keys for the rooms, so you can arrive after office hours and still get in. There was a glitch on the phone number help line, that I'm sure will be rectified promptly. You park in front of your room and the parking is a little tight, so don't bring your Giant 4x4 or RV. So why did I give a motel 5 stars without having stayed there? Well, mostly because of Kaylee at the front desk. She went above and beyond to help me get my money back, and if the rooms are as good as her assistance was, it's worth every star.

The Motor lodge was recommended highly to us so I decided to check it out. Wow. Above and beyond what I expected. The motor lodge is a super chic and fun motel to stay at. I say motel lightly because I didn't get a motel feel at all. Each and every room has it's own fun and cool style to it. Not one room is the same. Also, most of the rooms come with its own parking garage. (Ours didn't but we had a personalized spot literally right out front oour room). When looking for a place to stay I value a clean space above anything. This place was exactly that. The staff was wonderful. They offer late check in (after 5 pm) where they give you a code to enter your room without ever having to step inside the office to check in. They have fire pits, ice bags to keep in your freezer, your own cute little patio to have a sunset cocktail on, etc. I wanted to stay at a place where we were close to whiskey row. The motor lodge is literally a 10 minute walk to everything. Which is a wonderful option because you're off the loud and busy street of whiskey row but still close enough to where you do not need to get any ride services to get there. Just a nice little additional mention... you get 15% off an item at the Edison market right across the street from the motor lodge just for staying there. Such a cute place. Overall, we will be staying here each and every time we come to Prescott. It's perfect for a nice weekend away from the valley. Thank you motor lodge!

What a wonderful stay!…read more We drove up here from Phoenix for the Christmas light celebration, as we do every year. I am a Hilton gold member so I travel to Hiltons 20 to 30 nights a year, so I have stayed at several Hamptons before and I've stayed at all the Hilton properties in Prescott. This by far was the coziest experience we had. The hotel, the parking lot for landscaping the decorations all made me feel like I was in a Hallmark movie. The staff was great when we checked in and they allowed us to check in our room two hours early. We forgot our phone charger and they had an extra one that we could use during our day. As expected, the bed was comfortable lots of pillows, and the heater worked very quickly . The room was very clean and they also had an indoor hot tub. I enjoy coming out before heading out to see the Christmas lights to notice the fresh bake cookies prepared for all the guests in the lobby . We also noticed when you checked in, they had a handful of coupons for restaurants nearby to get some nice discounts. I enjoyed staying at this location because it was close enough to downtown for a quick 5 to 10 minute drive but also further enough out so you weren't in the mess of all the traffic . It's location is also nice because it's around all the restaurants in local shopping in the area.. We will definitely be back next year ! The price was incredibly affordable in comparison to the other hotels around. You're definitely getting more bang for your buck here.

What more can you ask for than fresh baked chocolate chip cookies every night? Yum! We forgot playing cards and the sweet lady working the counter offered us a deck of cards! Totally unexpected! The pool area is heated inside, and the pools are super fun for kids with neat animal features spraying water. Clean too! The breakfast buffet was really great! It was better than other Hampton Inns We've stayed at! One reason was because as soon as something was out, a staff member magically appeard to refill it, haha! Good quality Greek yogurt really surprised me, as usually you're only offered Yoplait. Quality of the food was great across the board, eggs, sausage, potatoes, toast, bagels, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, homemade muffins and yummy scones. Everything was super clean. We plan to make this hotel our Go To, when visiting out daughter at Embry Riddle! The icing on the cake for us is there is an amazing Ramen/Poke restaurant AND a Trader Joe's just a short walk across the street!
