I've been coming to SVC on the recommendation of a friend and it's been a wonderful 4.5 years later! I started coming when I was having pain from running and although I've had different things come up, I know I'll be taken care of here. Staff are nice and helpful. Heidi and Ben are great and truly listen to you and want your body to feel and be better. I used to see Izzat who is wonderful! But my main massage therapist is Kimmie, who is just the sweetest human being ever! She truly listens, empathizes, and beats my body up in the best of ways! Haha. Also just love being able to chat about all sorts of things and at the same time can relax and enjoy my massage. To be very up front, as a potential new patient, this has not been a great experience for me trying to get an appointment booked. For starters, in the submission form, I noted "phone" as the best means of contact but you went with email. Second, after at little understandable back and forth and determining that I'll be using my Kaiser insurance for this visit, you naturally told me your doctor that takes Kaiser is only in on certain days. I then asked for some specific availability of said doctor which was provided only to then be told that is not the availability of that doctor. Your operations appear to be disorganized and that makes for a less than stellar new patient experience. I would recommend going elsewhere. read more

My first of hopefully many visits to Sierra Valley Chiropractic was excellent. Not many of us realize just how much we need an "adjustment" in our lives. Trust me, this is the place to start. I was greeted immediately by Heidi, one of the owners and doctors. Apparently they were between front desk staff at the time of my visit, but she was very accomodating. She listened to me explain my issues and gave me an amazing spinal and neck adjustment, all while also popping out twice to check in other customers. Immediately following the adjustment was my massage. I already forget the gentleman's name (I'm bad about that), but I won't forget the relief he provided in the form of deep tissue relaxation and a real awareness of where my issues (mainly neck) originated. After one visit, I felt refreshed and already much better than before and I look forward to another visit again next month. If you aren't sure if either a massage or a traditional chiropractic adjustment are what you are looking for, go for both. The chiro for most is covered by insurance and the massage is well worth the reasonable price (mine was $70). Your body will thank you! read more

Dr. Ben is amazing!!! I really messed my neck up like a month into COVID I was nervous I wasn't going to be able to be seen but they got me right in and as a new patient. I used my Kaiser insurance and everything to verify was super fast! I had 2 back to back sessions with Dr. Ben he did an adjustment and some ice therapy. Then I was back to my regular movement in my neck. I recent have been getting migraines but from the back of my head/neck and headaches everyday. Owned by a husband-wife team, this practice is wonderful. Who knew how complicated it can be to find a good chiropractor? One wanted me to practically submit myself to an FBI investigation and sign my life away to arbitration before they would treat me. Another blocked the call from my state number. One highly-rated-Yelp guy refused to see anyone coming from another practioner. OK, I admit I am cranky, but I have a wickedly sore neck and shoulder. I lucked out by getting a referral to Sierra Valley from a co-worker, after she stopped teasing me about my having to turn my whole body in order to look at someone. Ben and Heidi are absolutely wonderful. The first thing they'll tell you is that they don't expect you to keep coming; they'll treat you until the problem gets better. They are friendly, open, gentle and all of those important things. Heidi's mom is the receptionist and the whole place has that great vibe that comes from people who are can-do because they're invested in the success of the business and making their clients feel OK. But the most important thing to me is that they do more than adjustments. They massage, work on muscle range of motion, apply heat. They didn't even try to adjust my neck until the second week or so, after things had calmed down. They have great massage therapists and boy, was I thrilled to find out they can bill massages through your insurance company, if they're covered by your plan. Looks like I'll be a client for a while longer, and I am relieved to have found them. read more

I have been seeing Heidi and Ben Jones (mostly Ben) for 3 years now. I typically schedule an appointment every 3 months for maintenance or when I'm feeling really out of alignment. They are amazing chiropractors for so many reasons. They never make me feel rushed during my appointments and I miraculously feel better after they adjust me. I tend to have lots of questions and they are always passionate about explaining what's going on with my body and suggesting modifications. I often call last minute or day-of for appointments and I am accommodated every time. I once had terrible pain in my arms and hands from moving and heavy lifting and after a few months I was healed! They lent me an electric stim device and special ice pack that really helped ease my pain. I highly recommend Ben and Heidi if you want to feel better. I have come to SVC on and off for 12 years. The first was for a car accident and they helped with that. I saw both Heidi and Ben. They are both knowledgeable, experienced, and personable. When I became pregnant with my first child, they helped me with the sciatic pain of carrying the baby. Heidi then continued to help after delivery. She adjust my newborn baby and myself in the same appointment. She gave great motherly tips over several months but also great knowledge on how to get my body back to feeling like myself again. My son and I were then rear ended when he was 6 months old. So we came back. He was fine. Ben and Heidi got me back to normal again. Every time I came, I left feeling better. They are the best. I was referred to Ben and Heidi by a friend. Initially, I was skeptical of chiropractors, but they made me feel at complete ease. My first two visits were in 2007 to treat a sciatic nerve that started bothering me while training for a race. Their heat treatment and adjustment did the trick! I competed in my half marathon several weeks later and never had to return until this spring (2.5 years later) when I was training for another long distance race. When I went in recently for my sciatic nerve, I called at 8am and got a 9am appointment the same day. I was thrilled! Instant pain relief. I've finished my long distance race and am feeling a little bit of pain since competing so I'll likely return once more. I don't anticipate having to return often--their adjustments seem to do the trick with only one or two visits. Heidi and Ben are both very friendly, honest and caring. When I first came in I had just spent a month paralyzed with Guillain Barre so was a little stove up. Between gentle massage, muscle stimulation, and good old fashioned adjusting, (plus at home physical therapy suggestions that I sometimes followed:p), I was feeling back to normal in an incredibly short time. Love this chiropractic office! I have been going there for a little over 1 year. I have been to multiple different chiropractors and it just seemed like regardless of my complaint they did the same thing each time. With Heidi and Ben they actually listen and figure out the best adjustments. I would have horrific hip pain ever since I gave birth to my daughter. It would randomly come as I was walking and my hip would give out. All the other chiropractors would tell me it was sciatica and try to adjust my back. I knew it was my hip and not my back but they would not listen to me. Of course the adjustments they did would not help. The first time I saw Heidi I explained to her the hip problem and she knew just what to do. She adjusted my hip and within seconds I was pain free! They also have massage therapists and Melissa is wonderful. The best thing is they take my insurance so I can get an adjustment and 1 hour massage for my $10 copay! Awesome! read more

WOW..WOW..WOW! I found this practice by taking a leap of faith on the reviews I read on Yelp and I'm SO glad I did! Dr. Heidi is aaamazing! She is very kind, quick, and discerning. Most importantly, Dr. Heidi knows the RIGHT questions to ask to get down to the root issue, she was also thorough with making sure I understood why I was experiencing shooting pain in my lower back. I had severe pain in my lower back for 2 days(Beginning Thursday morning). I called around a few places and this one was able to see me in short notice. Heidi adjusted my back and I felt some relief immediately, though I was still in pain, the source of the sharp pain seemed to be alleviated. By Sunday night the pain went away almost entirely.
