The cabin also has a wet bar with cafe machine, well stocked with capsule coffee, hot chocolate and tea. The room itself is within the forest and well shaded. Coming from Hawaii, it is cold for us at its summer nights when the temperature gets into the 50's. But heater is available in the room. The surround forest is beautiful and tranquil. On our daily short walks to the dining room, we were awarded with the fragrant fresh pine tree forest smell, the beautiful view of the Grand Teton Mountain range, and a well designed delicious 5-course meal. The booking includes free breakfast and free dinner. It also includes horse riding around the Jenny lake, free use of the well maintained beach cruisers. The cabin we are in has a wall that is shared by a neighbor. But there are more expensive individuel cabins that are not shared. The location is ideal as it is a short bike ride to the Jenny Lake Visiter Center, it also offers the best wide and well maintained bike route, separate from cars. It is also close the famous hike to Inspiration Point and many more trails. In the end, this was the highlight of our trip. Very expensive, but it you can afford it, go for it!

The reception staff were great - helpful, knowledgeable, friendly. Concierge service can make any activities arrangements you require. WiFi available in and near the lodge. There are a couple of negatives. Price. The place is expensive. Hello, you are in GRAND Tetons National Park - this is one of the few places to stay. So suck it up. Enjoy where you are and don't think about. Staying here is preferable to anything else outside. Shower head only allowed a what seemed to be a trickle of water. We still got a shower, but with low water pressure.

The room was comfortable and well-equipped, featuring very nice beds, a dresser, closet, mini-fridge, alarm clock, and the convenience of having both a sink in the bathroom and another in the main room. The nearby ice machine was an added bonus. The shower was excellent, with great water pressure and quality toiletries including shampoo and body wash. After long days exploring the park, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. The lodge itself is stunning, with breathtaking views of the Tetons from many areas of the property. We enjoyed spending time at the onsite bar, where the **"399" cocktail, named after the famous Grizzly 399, was a fun and memorable touch that connected us to the area's wildlife history.** One of the best features of the lodge is its location. Several hiking trails begin right from the property, making it easy to step outside and enjoy the beauty of Grand Teton National Park without having to get back in the car. We also enjoyed the onsite dining options. The restaurant was excellent, with no waiting for a table during our stay. The dining room's layout was thoughtfully designed, allowing for attentive, efficient service and a relaxed atmosphere. Between the great food, outstanding views, and friendly service, dining at the lodge was one of the highlights of our visit. Overall, Jackson Lake Lodge offers comfort, convenience, incredible scenery, and a true sense of place. We liked the variety of trail rides customized to each family members riding ability, and enjoyed the private river float with truly exceptional guides. We do recommend a car to explore hikes or sights around the area and venture into Yellowstone. And yes, the weather can be somewhat unpredictable - we got rained, hailed and snowed on in July... - and mosquitoes are plentiful. Just remember you are in the natural habitat of all sorts of wildlife.

We paid $400 for this "cabin" with 2 maybe queen beds and I think I would have rather slept in our rental car. You're essentially trapped here at a national park. First and last. My husband feels like we got catfished. There is also no tv, not a big deal but I had no idea. Also, no good food here. Even bigger doozie to being trapped. Ouch. This was a one and done for us.

Spacious, extremely comfortable (heat and ac!, microwave, fridge! Cute outdoor seating!) There are new owners - a local couple - who are investing in the property and community. I love that. You can see the attention in the grounds (which they were actively working on while we were there). The couple is very sweet, beyond helpful and just added to that local, country charm. If we weren't breezing through on a cross country trip, I would want to stay longer - just to watch the sun sets and the sun rises. Stunning.
