    So weak!
    Sandee L.

Don't waste your time. By far, the worst airport lounge I've ever been to. We waited in line for stale bulk snacks, no alcohol...no water. The lounge tables and chairs were dirty, the garbage cans overflowing! You can tell the employees staffing it don't give a crap, as they were hiding in the back room the half and hour we were there. Women's restroom out of order. Definitely don't pay for this one and even complimentary via priority pass is not worth it. Zero stars if I could.

Very small lounge and basic Food options. I came in Tuesday noon and there was no waiting. The lounge was about half full. There aren't many tables that have power outlet. Food has muffins, apples, bananas, some cereal, candy, instant noodles, mix nut, dried bananas chips. In the fridge got small pasta salad, veggie bite, small sandwich, soft drinks and wine, beer. They are ok if you need some food while waiting for flights. Inside look kinda old.

    Tight quarters

As the only available Priority Pass lounge in Terminal 5, the Swissport Lounge serves its purpose of being a quiet place to sit down and grab a drink. An honor bar is available with liquors, wine and beer in the fridge as well as La Croix and sodas, and pre-packed sandwiches and pasta salads. My biggest challenge with this space was tight quarters, with seating unavailable and even fewer with power. I would love to see more power stations or outlets and more friendly seating to make it more likely to spend time in here.

Tiny lounge with two areas and a self service bar area.l with drinks and snacks. Nothing that fancy, but without having an airline status and just Priority Pass not a bad deal in the current Terminal 5 at O'Hare. :-) Self pour Jim Beam, red wine, Bacardi and Cognac. Beer, soft drinks, water and coffee machine. WiFi password is Swissport2023 Your mileage may vary based upon busy seasons/day/time. Since it's small could easily get full :-)

Wow, for an airport lounge, this place was shockingly bad. Once and if you do finally get in, the 1 star is for the basic free liquor, beer, wine, beverages, and packaged snacks that are available, but that's about it. One of our co-travelers had access to this lounge as a credit card perk, so it's kinda you get what you pay for. I certainly wouldn't pay any real money for access. First, they are overcrowded as they service quite a few mostly foreign airlines. Secondly the lounge is not that big, and people are turned away if the lounge is filled. We had to wait in a line outside of their entrance for about 30 minutes just for people to leave. Once you do get in, you just have to find an open seat and likely you can't sit with your group if you're traveling with more than 1 or 2. There are also no windows and you feel like you're in a basement. There are also no restrooms. I guess it's still better than nothing, but there is definitely a hassle factor for using this place and you've been warned!

Picture of the snacks and drinks we were told they did not have!

If I could give this lounge a rating of ZERO, I would. From the moment we got in line with the lady yelling at customers, I knew this would be an interesting experience. It went from interesting to horrible quickly, the male attendant came to us and told us "we don't have snacks, also someone forgot to place the alcohol order, therefore we don't have wine or spirits." Then he told us our flight boarded after 7pm, therefore we couldn't enter because "we have a contract with another airline that starts at 7pm." When we said we'd be leaving the lounge at 7pm, he said the system wouldn't allow us to enter. Lastly, they had more than 10 people standing in line because "the lounge is full." We decided to remain in line and here's what we discovered: 1) when we arrived at the desk, the agent yelled at us "come in, PLEASE!" 2) when the desk agent asked what time our flight boarded, I told her 7pm. She checked us in. 3) when we entered the lounge, we found at least 50% of the seats were unoccupied (well more than the people waiting in line). 4) There were snacks. 5) There was both wine and spirits. In short, everything the attendant told us was a LIE!! I will NEVER visit this lounge again! I hope that you don't either. This was by far a negative experience from beginning to end.

Hate to see the undeserved hate for this lounge I have priority pass through the Chase sapphire and it literally never gets me in anywhere. But today it got me into the swissport lounge. Crushed a mimosa before arriving to the lounge and then I came here. They have Woodbridge wine, Jim beam, grey goose, Bacardi, dewar's, and other things that you can just pour for yourself. I poured myself a Dewar's bc there are those who don't, and then you have the Dewar's (at least that's what I aspire to be) Idk I like this lounge I would bring my parents here tbh

This is easily the worst "lounge" I've ever been to. Little to no food selections. I'm currently eating cup noodles. There are TVs but they are turned off. We're all just in here staring at each other in this dark room with no windows or views. I was told that I could only stay for 30 mins because Priority Pass members have to leave by 3:30pm. But that is fine with me because I'd honestly rather wait at the gate. This room feels like a holding cell. Serious renovations and better quality service are needed. In no way is this a "priority" or "premium" experience.

Rated 3 on a personal 4 star limit for this. Visited lounge on an early Sunday am, so access was fine with my Priority Pass. I understand there are space limits and they even post hours where you may not get in (3 pm on) Much of the furniture is worn and tattered. Food is self service but they have a decent selection of quick serve items such as small sandwiches, veggie trays, pasta salad, granola bars, fig newtons, chips, nuts and so forth. Heat yourself ramen was available too. Plenty of soft drinks plus some beer and spirits are self serve too. Did not see vodka though. There may have been wine but I did not notice it. If you're looking for an admirals club experience or comparable, this is not it. It's self serve and practical at best. The space is not large, and there are 3-4 or so TVs scattered throughout. If you're connecting domestically, you have to leave security and go to international terminal 5 to access, so that's not convenient. But I had 2.5 hours to work with - I wouldn't do it for anything less. It was so early I forgot to take photos! (Photos are from online and seem to be representative of the current state)

    Food and beverage choices.

We have the Priority Pass with AMEX. We started out at the Air France Lounge but had to leave because they reserve the lounge for their passengers from 12-5. That was a beautiful club with a buffet. Delicious food. Then we came to the Swissport Lounge. The only thing Swiss about it was the SwissMiss in the refrigerator. The lounge reminded me of a hospital waiting room with a fridge, booze, and some snacks. Not a place to go if you have to pay to get in.

Yes. But it's NOT the original one. It's NOT immediately after the intl terminal 5 - TSA screening. Turn right and walk 50'. So, look closely on the right. Easy to miss.

There are four Framery privacy pods. Two with adjustable seats and desk tops and two without seats in a stand up desk configuration. These pods are quiet and have charging capability (1 USB-C and 1 115V). Overhead lighting is fully adjustable along with the front facing lighting for video conference calls. There is also an adjustment for the ventilation fan however I have found that, even on the highest setting, they can get warm. There are most of the same food options as the F9 location but on a smaller scale. There are self-serve options for soft drinks and coffee. In lieu of a tended bar, there is a self-serve bar with an assortment of juices, wines and beers. Like most United Clubs, there isn't a whole lot of interaction with the staff. That said, they all seem friendly enough and this location is clean and well maintained. Would I go back? I've actually been to this location a few times now and like it. So far, it's a quieter alternative to some of the other locations.

The reason this lounge was designed as such a large space is due to the fact that there's a lot of people in here. That's just something to keep in mind as a basis for your understanding. In terms of design, this lounge has various types of seating. They have the more comfortable chairs located throughout the various rooms at this lounge. They also have numerous seats that are associated with tables. This is probably best for people like myself, who enjoyed grabbing a quick snack, and having a drink, before it's time to board the aircraft. They also have long desks with charging ports set up for those who want to get some work done. Plus, there are some self-standing seats spread out throughout the lounge area. In terms of food offerings, they have food buffets on two ends of the lounge. Both of these buffets offer a unique blending of Quick-Food, as I like to call it. Is pretty good. I will say, that I've never been disappointed in what they offer. You can always find something to suit your pallet. In terms of drinks, they have drink offerings at both ends of the lounge, as well, in association with the food buffets. There, you can get your expected soft drinks, coffee, and water. If you want alcoholic beverages, you have to go down to the one end of the lounge, where they have a bar. There, they generally have two bartenders. Each of which is happy to give you whatever you want. They often mix drinks, beers, wine, and all that kind of stuff. Many of the drinks are all free. But, if they are, be sure to throw the bartenders a tip. I think that's an important gesture. Some people decide to sit along the bar while they enjoy their drinks. I guess they are just type of people who enjoying hanging out at bars. I don't find out all that comfortable, or appealing, as you're basically elbow-to-elbow with somebody, you don't really know. But, that's just my personal opinion. If I have one complaint about this lounge, it's the fact that it's not really set up for the first class domestic passengers on United. Whereas, is you are flying internationally on United, they use the Star Alliance lounges that are specifically designed for its first and business class passengers. In terms of this lounge, pretty much anybody can get into it, simply by paying a sixty dollar fee. Thus, you get a whole lot of people, Just overwhelming space, without a lot of decorum. Overall, I've been in much better lounges, and I've been in a lot worse lounges around the globe. There's not much to complain about this place, you just have to expect that there's gonna be a lot of people. I have seen it at times midday, when people can't even find a single seat to sit in. So, just keep this in mind.

In terms of scale and aesthetic, it reminds me of the Sky Clubs at LaGuardia (Terminal C) and LAX (Terminal 3), both of which we visited within the past year. Coincidentally, all three opened in 2022, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that they all remind me of each other. This is the only Sky Club at O'Hare. The food, drink, and service were good -- generally consistent with my experiences at other Sky Clubs in recent years. My favorite feature of this particular Sky Club is the Chicago-style hot dog cart. During our visit, it was tucked away near the secondary bar. Our Chicago dogs were authentic and delicious. If I recall correctly, the hot dog guy said the cart was only meant for the lounge's opening; however, it was so popular that it became a permanent fixture in the lounge. This is my first experience with an airport lounge, and frankly, I could get used to this! That said, while markedly nicer than waiting by the gate, the experience wasn't perfect. There is free food, coffee, and Coke products available. The food involved a hot entree, a couple sandwiches, soups, salads, snacks, nibbles, and desserts. There is also coffee, espresso beverages, and a Coke machine. The quality of the items was adequate. Since airports aren't usually gourmet destinations, I happily devoured everything on my plate. Happy that one is not relegated to McDonald's and can opt for something healthier.a Speaking of which, while you are free to go up as many times as you wish, the plates and cups are very small, needing several visits for those like myself, who have a black hole within their stomachs. Perhaps this is to encourage people to keep their goodies in the lounge, rather than take 16oz coffee cups onto planes. It would still be nice to have larger plates, so I save my steps for the terminals rather than making repeated trips to the buffet... especially since I don't want to leave my property unattended. In terms of the lounge itself, everything was very clean. There is ample seating, and there should be a spot available, but expect to share the lounge with many others. While both the armchairs and [high] chairs are firmer than I'd like, they do beat out terminal seating overall. Also, while not needed by me, I respect that they have "phone rooms" for those who may need to take a private phone call or attend a work meeting. A private room is more for you, though, as the lounge is more chill, without the hustle and bustle of the terminal. Finally, there are plenty of outlets throughout, and the WiFi is faster by miles. All the staffers in the lounge, from those who check you in, to the bartender, to those keeping everything bussed and clean were fantastic! I was about to dust my hands off and leave four stars... that was until I realized that they have an open bar! There's nothing like starting a trip with a drink to get in the mood. Sure, it isn't really free being included with the ticket price, but if I'm already paying for airfare, not having to pay $20 for a small and weak drink is a phenomenal bonus. Last but certainly not least are the restrooms: These were much cleaner and nicer than the rest of the airport. Think of a nicer mall as opposed to "airport." Final verdict: I can now see why lounge access is such a wonderful perk of either non-economy seats or certain credit cards. I love airports because of my love for travel and airplanes, not so much everything else. The United Club is great for making that which stands between TSA and being in the air more pleasant.
