is there a zero stars?…read more the hispanic lady working the front desk at around 12pm on Dec 26, 2025 is possibly one of the worst customer service and all around humans i have ever come across. clearly a line waiting outside that was being helped by the previous gentleman, who was letting people know information, asking us to line up and that he was letting one in one out due to capacity issues. once this lady came on she just yelled from her seat for people to line up to the left and then yelled constantly to ensure the door slid close. she then sat at her desk while 10-15 people left the lounge and said nothing to anyone waiting in line ti get in. after watching her have a 10 minute conversation with another worker and a few mor people came out i popped my head in and asked, "will you let us know when we should come in to check in" and her response was "no. i don't have a line". which males zero sense since she yelled at us to move the line to the left. an absolutely joke of a customer service worker and likely just a truly horrible person all around. good luck. also, this lounge is truly awful on top of it all. half the machines were put of service, barely any food, and it's basically a spot with chairs, might as well just stay out in the airport area.

While the clubs used to be spacious with decent food and drink offerings and excellent service, the clubs have become much busier with fewer seats available and average food and drink options. It seems that everyone has access to an Admirals Club nowadays and brings their entire families. With that said, this particular lounge is one of the largest locations I have been in, and there are many places within the lounge to relax, do work, grab a snack, or anything else. In fact, for such a large lounge, there were surprisingly open seats here and there where I'm used to smaller lounges without any open seats. There is comfortable seating as well as bar seating and table seating. Also over the last year, I've begun to see the efforts made to improve the Admirals Club membership which includes complimentary hot food throughout the day from soups, Mac and Cheese, sandwiches, meatballs, and breakfast items (not all at once though). There are charcuterie offerings, dessert trays, a salad bar, hot and cold non-alcoholic drinks, snacks, and then house drinks. You can pay more for premium drinks and prepared meals. Access to the lounge is easy to get whether through the Citi Executive World Mastercard with free access for you and up to two guests. You can also pay $175 for up to three authorized users each receiving their own lounge access (with up to two guests). Also, One World alliance flyers with a certain status can access Admirals Clubs. There are also Flagship Lounge and Flagship First Dining locations, which offer much more than just Admirals Clubs. I'm confident that making it easy to get Admirals Club memberships has led to lounges being overcrowded though now that you have to pay for authorized users instead of getting them for free in recent years, that may help. You can also redeem AAdvantage miles for membership or access to the Admirals Club. This specific lounge is also connected to the Flagship Lounge, which is a special elevated American Airlines lounge complete with Flagship Dining options. I look forward to testing this out sooner than later on a future layover at ORD.

The admiral club has a relatively large area, we prefer to sit at the tables on the left side. A quieter area to sit is located at the chairs to the right of the staff desks, the bathrooms in that hallway are less busy as well. Food options for lunch on a Saturday with very tender and tasty beef, mushroom risotto. There's also salad, fruit, prosciutto, two types of soups, dessert, coffee, tea, and other drinks. I appreciated the option of oat milk for the coffee area due to having lactose intolerance. There's also two bars in the lounge - we didn't partake in any alcohol. There is relatively fast WiFi in the lounge on- there are signs with the Wi-Fi name and password. The staff quickly takes plates and cleans up tables, and food is frequently replenished.

I was so grateful when the ticket agent told me I could use the Lot lounge-my online research had let me to believe Turkish passengers used the (dreaded) Swissport lounge. This lounge is gorgeous! I was here in the morning, so the sun was shining through beautifully (though they appear to have tined windows so the sun isn't overpowering). The lounge was not busy (seriously, there were maybe 3 other people), though it did start to fill up as it got closer to my flight time. There's plenty of seating options-comfy chairs, tables, etc. I took a seat at the bar along the back which gave me a great view of the runway (my favorite!). The food was fine-nothing outstanding but nothing horrible. They did have a decent variety of hot food and cold food, including some Polish items. They also have a fancy coffee machine, which I used to get a latte. They also have a nice bar, and when I was there a bloody Mary station, which was a nice touch. Service was a little slow-there wasn't someone staffing the bar at all times (possibly because it was early morning?), so sometimes I had to wait a bit to get a drink. Not terrible, but I did notice. They had a special for fall, an apple cider mule that was delicious. Overall, a great lounge to use before a long transatlantic flight. It was gorgeous and the food/drink was good.

I…read morereally wanted to like this place because I need to for travel reasons, including O'hare and United notoriously having delays. However, the food was barely edible, processed from K mart food boxes without description of what it actually is, and poorly presented. The staff are extremely rude - every single time I have gone here. This reflects on the company as a whole. You don't see so many staff this rude each time you go unless something is wrong with the company. The staff members also hide their name cards. I have never been able to see anyone's name anywhere in the lounge. Also the furniture is old, not clean and is in worse condition than the facility outside the airport. I have yet to have an on time flight with United at O'hare so thought this would be perfect. But this place is far from special. Outside in the regular airport is nicer.

There are two locations for food and drinks. Alcoholic beverages are served at the bar only, by staff. Restrooms are located near the center of the lounge. Every time I used the restroom, staff was cleaning. They're serious about clean restrooms, which is a positive. Outside of alcohol, they offer coffee, tea, soda, and water. Hot cocoa mixes are packaged. Espresso drinks and soda are machine made. They have a good selection of food. Today's food was Chipotle, which was tasty. They also offered whole fruit, chocolate chip cookies, donut holes, soup, cheese, grapes, loose banana chips, loose pretzels, and bags of potato chips. Flight information for all the United flights are posted on the board. There aren't any overhead announcements, so you need to keep track of time. Otherwise, you will miss your flight.

There are lots of chargers in and around the seating area. I also appreciated the ambient lighting. Drinks included a soda machine, lots of different hot tea to choose from, iced tea pitcher, coffee machine and a full serve bar. You can get complimentary drinks at the bar, but we skipped this. Also, the hot dog cart was out, so if you're in the mood for a Chicago hot dog, this is your spot. The bathrooms were very clean, stocked with fancy soap (Grown Alchemist) and tissue boxes. My husband even opted to sign up on the app to take a shower. He said he felt completely relaxed and ready for the trip home after that. If you've got access to this lounge, I highly recommend it. It totally changed my flying experience to a more zen one this weekend.
