Disappointed--manicure not worth the price I recently got a manicure and pedicure here, and I was very disappointed. The nails were crooked, lumpy, and uneven. When I politely mentioned one crooked nail, the male technician became defensive, blaming the shape of my fingers rather than his work. I told him these were my bachelorette nails, but he didn't seem to care at all, didn't ask questions, and was not friendly. Another colleague even asked if the tips were old--despite me just getting them done--which made the experience feel sloppy. The female technician doing my pedicure was amazing and very sweet, and she understood how I felt, which made that part of the experience better. Later, when the top coat started bubbling and peeling, the male technician acted confused and defensive. I had to physically show him that it was coming off, and when he asked which nails needed fixing, I said, "You're the expert--look and tell me." Eventually, he agreed to fix them, but the whole interaction felt unnecessarily frustrating. read more

I booked a appointment for 3 people for a pedicure. We were the only ones there it was only one person doing my toes and a lady in the back for about a hour doing nothing and she finally came out and started on the other persons toes. There was 1 more person waiting for their toes to get done and they kept saying the lady will be back and she never showed up. So the one waiting to get their toes done waited for over an hour. Gel polish is coming off our toes about 3-4 days later got charged 15 extra dollars for the gel. Clean place with lots of service offerings. Not only do they do nails but they also have massage services and eyelashes. They would have gotten 5 stars except for a few things. The communication wasn't always the best. I didn't find out until check out that there is an additional $15 for gel services. I also got a little too much cuticle removed if that's a thing so that was a little painful and hopefully I don't end up with an infection later as that's happened to me at different places on multiple occasions. You can check in on a tablet at the front and select the services you want. They also give you a book that has the services and prices listed that looks like a menu. They offered drinks as well such as wine, margarita, and water. They also gave me a free small lotion. I will never be back at this shop. New management is extremely unprofessional. I've also witnessed management beg customers to review the shop and rate it 5-stars before leaving the salon. The overall rating is not a true reflection of this salon. I always avoided interaction with Tony due to his unprofessionalism. The only reason I came to this shop was because of an amazing tech technician that is no longer at the shop. (She was the only technician left from prior management.)It was the only reason why a lot of people came to this shop because she was super detailed and an amazing technician. Ever since new management came in place, they didn't allow her to take new customers, and I've seen the overall turnover of technicians rise. As a result of her absence, management has sent out texts to everyone who went to that technician,offering a 30% off. I hope they are offering this service to all customers and not just those that were impacted. Including 20% off for the whole year if customers do a 5-star review. Please do your research before coming here. Based on Mary's prior Google review, I 100% agree with her. I don't like managements response to Mary's review. Management is being unfair when saying she violated the bypass nail salon policy. This is something she had been doing since I initially started going to her (before new management and after). If this was really the real reason, why didn't management dismiss her earlier? But all of a sudden this is the reason? Why is management publicly stating the reason to begin with? The business is under new management. All I can say is that I'll be back. The service was absolutely amazing! The new state of the art massage chair had me so relaxed. It massages every part of your body except for the legs and feet. I have never encountered a massage chair that totally relaxed me. WOW! I'm so glad I found this hidden gem right down the road from my job! My birthday is next Friday, and I wanted to get my nails done to pamper myself. I was a walk-in and was immediately greeted by members of the staff and was sat with Lee. She was so sweet and did an amazing job! I told her I wanted to do SNS with tips but explained I hated having to do tips because I just don't like that they can be so long and don't look natural, but needed them since i nite my nails, so she took it upon herself to spend extra time shaping them and shortening them and even thinning the top out a little for me to make them look more natural !! I have recently seen that the new owners treat their clients better then they treat Lys clients. my birthday was a week ago and I went in the week before my birthday , they did not say happy birthday or even acknowledge that my birthday was coming up. Today a client came in to get a service done and they gave her the royal treatment, cake, sang happy birthday and even gave her a free gift. I got nothing and what really bothers me is that I have been a loyal client since before they took over. They treat us older clients like we don't help keep their business running. Today, I only got a mani and my daughter got a mani/pedi. There are 12 foot spa chairs. Aside from mani/pedis, they do facials, brows and lash extensions. My girl went to this nail shop to get a service. There were no customers in the place and she was turned away for a service. She gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back to get both a manicure and pedicure. The only male in the facility told her that he did not have time and maybe she should come back after she drove a long distance in traffic for an appointment for both a manicure and pedicure. She challenged them in front of the two customers and he agreed to do the pedicure. Again, she had an appointment for both but he did not have enough time. He rushed through the pedicure without the nail service while doing a horrible job. Then rushed her out without saying one word the whole time. When it came time to pay, he walked to the front and said I am sorry that you feel the way that you do. He obviously wanted a tip. He did not say one word or apologize while doing her pedicure and refused to do her nails that she had an appointment for. Clearly this is not an establishment for black people. One star is too generous. They get a big fat zero and lucky that they won't have a lawsuit. read more

New to the area, I had to find a good nail shop close to home. I love this place, I come here often. I've gotten mani/pedi, & gel nails. The price is good & service is always excellent. Depending on the day/time, they can get busy, but they handle it very well. Ask for their reward card & get it signed each visit. After a number of visits, you get 50% off a service. I would have given them 5 stars, but the last time I was there, a different tech (than I'm used to) did my nails & I didn't really like the finished product. He seemed like he was rushing -- even though they were not busy at all. My advice is to stick with the nail tech that you like. read more

I had a wonderful time at Signature Nails!! They took me without an appointment, which was so nice because I got out of work late and I appreciated them staying. Lee started working her magic immediately...no waiting. I chose to get the signature pedicure package and I am so glad I did. Every step of the process was so enjoyable. The hot stones and hot towels were great, but the multiple massages were amazing. They melted all my stress away so I could relax after a hard day at work. She made my feet so soft and my toenails are perfection!! I decided to also get a manicure with a paraffin dip because...why not?!?! My skin looked haggard and even had patches so rough they were almost to the point of bleeding. My cuticles hadn't been trimmed in probably 8-9 months...it was definitely time for a manicure. Lee did such a great job...my hands are soft and feel like silk. My nails look so fantastic I can't believe they are the same hands. I will be back with a quickness to keep this up. I would never go back here again. I wanted a no-chip manicure--but I just ended up with a gel polish change. The work was amateur and sloppy at best, not to mention my nails chipped within a week. Usually, I can go 2-3 weeks without an issue. There was nail polish on my cuticles and skin--and anyone who has had a gel manicure knows that means you're stuck with it awhile. If zero was an option it would be -0. Don't got to these rude A$$ people. I stopped in for a nail repaired that cracked in across the middle and was treated like crap because I critiqued the nail. If SNS is not what you can do, then say so prior to offering servuces. I asked for the nail to be soaked, not filed and he got an attitude about that. I asked him to not file my nail down so low, creating a super thin nail that then split more on the side. Obviously customer service is not his area. The only guy working there who provided thw awful service was ridiculously rude!!! I was asking him if he was going to apply clear coat to my SNS and he said "No, I know what I'm doing". Clearly you dont, all SNS is sealed with a top coat of clear SNS.From that point, it went down hill. He then refused service because I wouldn't let him talk to me any type of way. I asked them to remove it because it was not done properly and they refused. I came with a nail in tact with a split in the SNS and left with carp. I know better for next time. Be sure to get the price for your nail service BEFORE you get your nails done. They will upgrade your service and charge you for it without asking. I will never go back to that salon. A family member went there and she did ask ahead of time and they still charged her for an upgraded service. She will not be back either. They are unethical and the quality of work is not great. I'm surprised at the bad reviews. I have been going to this nail salon for about 3 or 4 years. They do a good job and are always courteous. I will say that once I find a tech that I like I stick to that person. For my manicure, I only allow Kim (female owner) and another lady do that service. My sister who is extremely picky about her nails only lets Kim do her manicure. I am not particular when it comes to my pedicure. In the past I have found that to be true with any nail shop. Not all techs are equal. I refuse to go anywhere else to get my nails done because it's too hard to find an excellent tech. I've never experienced a rude attitude from anyone at this shop. I've never seen them start on a client, stop and start on another client. They always tell me how long I will have to wait which I appreciate because on a couple of occasions I have chosen to come back on another day if the wait is too long. And because I only allow 2 specific people to do my manicure I haven't had issues with my nails. I will say from observation that when you get rude with people because you are not satisfied with a service then you may receive a rude attitude in return. Although you are unhappy with the results a pleasant attitude explaining your dissatisfaction will get you further. Even before I was selective about which tech I let service me, if I didn't like something I expressed that and never received an attitude from anyone. I messed up my pedicure one time because I thought the polish was dry and they had to fix all of my toes. Did not receive an attitude at all. Prices are great! People are rude! Was here over 3 hour's because the gel turned a different color. I got a fill in and gel and a pedicure the man doing my toes made me bleed. Owner was so rude yelling saying we were there way to long! They never have enough people working! After she started on another client i still had to wait for her to "fixed" my nails i noticed she used regular nail polish and put a gel top coat! My nails went for white to brown in 4 day's!
