Just left and it looks like I painted my own nails.

I will never come back here. I'm not sure if the young man who worked on my nails was a new employee but my nails are messy and look horrible. Then as i pay, he charges me the amount, and I tip. Then the lady who did my feet noticed that I was not charged enough and they take more money. I literally had to have two people work on my nails to shape them correctly and it still looks bad because he rushed through the paint. This work does not deserve a tip, or even what I paid for. The sun makes it look better than it actually looks.

I want to start by saying that the staff is amazingly sweet, they always treat me so well, which is an actually something that I get to often at nail salons, so it's really painful for me to write this review but I'm writing it in hopes that they will take into consideration everything that I have to say and make their services better. I came to the salon regularly before the pandemic, and then visited a couple of times during. I never had any complaints, in fact my favorite set was done here so I was really excited to go back especially with the new renovations. When I got there I realized there were not a lot of people there which is very odd for that place, when I went it was always packed. I was greeted with the new prices because they are under new management. Boy weren't these prices new! The new packages kind of take the liberty of just adding on the add-ons that she usually have during a service. For example they no longer offer regular nail polish, gel only. Other things that they no longer offer, acrylics. This is a big deal for someone like me who is an acrylics girl. I've been wearing acrylics since I was 12; The reasoning that was given to me was because acrylics do long-term damage to your natural nail, which is true if not properly cared for acrylics can do long-term damage to your natural nail but The alternative that they provide is dip and gel hybrid with extensions, which does the exact same amount of damage if not properly cared for. The first red flag was that it was taking a very long time, like extremely long, frankly I believe this is because the technician is not used to doing acrylic styles with a dip powder. For context my go to style is a tapered square, matte, short to medium, pink and white acrylic set that used to cost $65, What I received was nowhere close. The paint job was messy, The white was bleeding onto the clear that I didn't ask for, the shape was atrocious and they were really long despite me asking them to keep them shorter. And I don't think that they are doing a bad job on purpose I just think that the new manager may be asking a lot of the technicians. To you have to switch your technique like that must be very difficult on them so I can't get angry about it, but I was frustrated. It was so bad that I end up having to go to another salon A few hours later to get it fixed, because there was literally no way that I could wear my nails out like that. And the awful part of all of this is that my nail set Plus the basic pedi package totaled to a whopping $140, not including the extra 30 I had to spend at another nail salon to get everything fixed and now where it looked decent. and because it took them so long I had some place to be so I didn't have time for any kind of duo over or anything like that. The prices are extremely steep for what you get, I usually don't like talking about prices because I'm a firm believer in you pricing your worth, but as a consumer who has been going to nail salons and spas for years I personally feel like the change in prices is very extreme and not worth the extra $30 that they are charging now on each service. Each service now is about $20-$30 extra and based on my experience it doesn't feel worth it. The first picture is the set I usually get from them, before new management, and my reference and then the following is what I got the last visit. Credit where credit is due, my pedicure looked awesome and my feet felt amazing afterwards as always!

I went and got my nails done at this salon recently. It was a delightful experience I must say. I like how the facility was set up and the cleanliness. I had my nails done by a lady named Kelly. She was sweet, took her time, and had a lot of products I've never seen! I had so many options !!! I would recommend this salon!

Best nails I've ever gotten! She made my dreams come true :) ! Will definitely be back

Very nice staff; however end results of pedicure were not great. May have been due to not wiping the oil off prior to applying coat. $62+tip for the pedicure felt like a bit of a rip off for what was experienced based on pricing in the general area.

I made an appointment online with Holly last week to get my old dip off my nails and new dip put on. When I arrived, they had Mai do my nails not Holly (told me that Holly doesn't do dip powder - so I am confused why that was even an option online for me to book?). Anyways - I ask if I can have my dip powder soaked off since it saves your natural nail better, and Mai told me that it takes waaaay to long so she starts taking a cuticle trimmer to clip/rip my nails off ?!?! Ouch. As she's ripping my nails apart, I keep telling her that it hurts and my nails are going to be so weak from this and if we can soak - but nope. This actually took 40 min, so soaking would've gone faster lol. They are finally off (nails are destroyed) and I tell Mai at the beginning I don't want my cuticles trimmed bc it costs more - fast forward to after dip is put on she starts picking at my cuticles. Ends up making one bleed and her grand idea was to put nail glue (!!!) on my cuticle to stop the bleeding followed by a cotton ball and some green stuff that burns. So now the cotton ball is glued to my finger and has to be ripped off, which causes it to bleed again - this actually happened 4 times because she wouldn't just listen to me and let it be. I was there for 2 hours because of all this. And on top of this already crummy experience, the dip is thick and uneven when I asked for it to be thin. I gave 2 stars because I have been here multiple times before with other technicians and enjoyed my experience so I wanted to come back. I purposely booked an appointment with someone other than Mai, but I guess those online appointments don't even matter. After all this, I still had to pay $47... :)

Wow! Never anything to complain about with this place. If you are looking for an incredible nail tech in Houston, that is creative and amazing at what she does. Ask for (juan) when you come. My birthday is complete now with my new set. I come back every three weeks for a refill. Love it here !!!

    Killer service!

AVOID THIS PLACE!! They ripped out the skin under my eyebrow. Not only that: The lady that did this has laughing while doing it. She tried to hide it and put all kind of ointments to cover it up. The photos you see is how it looks the next day. Unless you want to to lose an eye or a finger, please go somewhere else.

After a week and a overseas trip! Still perfect!

New to the area & have tried a few different nail salons. By far, best shellac manicure I have ever had. Whenever I get shellac it chips within 4 days or my nails will break, but this time it has made it to 1 week so far AND a cancun trip. They removed my acrylics as well, which usually causes the shellac chipping early bc my nails are weak BUT my nails feel amazing and not flimsy at all. I don't know how they pulled it off but I am impressed and will be a regular client. The staff is extremely courteous and very fun to interact with. I've had the owner, her son, and another tech work on my nails and they were all great and did a wonderful job. 5 star salon, 5 star service!

I have never, ever had a bad experience with any nail salons, the ladies were very kind and the remodel is great but they do not offer acrylic. Only dipping powder and as you can see... it's not the best. I paid $55 for this, and I am in such awe that I let myself walk out looking like this. I will not give them a 1 star, because I know how it affects them, I just hope they get better or at least offer acrylic....

I've come here a few times for mani/pedis and have found the service to be consistent. They are efficient and produce quality work. I usually come as a walk-in but have never had to wait more than five minutes (which is nothing since I take that time to pick a color). The place is very clean, the spa chairs are comfy and relatively new, and from what I've seen their methods are sanitary. All of the nail techs who have worked on me have been pleasant and accommodating. They offer water and wine like most comparable salons, which is always nice while you're relaxing. Oh, and today I noticed they were playing '80s pop hits! Random, but a plus for me :) Great nail spot...AND appropriately priced! *I recommend Lisa or Tho

I decided to give this place a second try since it's close to my house. I got acrylic nails with shellac nail polish. Terrible job as you can see; nail tech event left gunk around my fingers. My first visit was just shellac and it was bad as well, it was way too thin that it looked like regular nail polish ( she didn't put enough coatings).DONT come here.

He seems to always be rushed and not neat. My pedicure was great. The woman who did it was kind, professional, and took her time. I really appreciated that part of my visit. However, the experience with Peter, who did my acrylic full set, was disappointing and uncomfortable. As soon as he sat down, he made a comment about my hair, asking if I "didn't feel like doing it today." For context, my hair was styled in a natural curly, half-up, half-down look. When I let him know that curly doesn't mean undone, he doubled down and suggested I try straightening it. The comment was rude and unnecessary, but I chose not to make a scene and let him continue. The nail service itself was not much better. I asked for an almond-shaped French tip set. He cut me with the drill, and when I pointed out that one nail was crooked, I had to push for him to fix it. While painting, the white polish ended up all over my fingers and even on my wrist--and he made no attempt to clean it until I asked. The finished nails are lumpy with uneven shapes, and the French tips have no crispness or precision. Overall, they look rushed and messy. When I mentioned my dissatisfaction at the front desk, I said I was happy with my toes but not with the nail service. The response? Silence. No apology, no concern, just complete indifference. At this point, I think it's time to find a new salon. I don't expect perfection every time, but I do expect professionalism, respect, and basic attention to detail.

She really took her time and paid attention to every detail, which made such a difference. On top of that, the vibe of the salon is everything: very neutral, minimalistic, and cutesy in the best way. Highly recommend Miriana if you want quality work in a space that feels as good as it looks.

I had a very disappointing experience at this salon and felt completely disregarded as a customer…read more I arrived for my 9:30 a.m. appointment only to be told that my nail technician had called in sick and that the salon had attempted to notify me at 9:15 a.m. By that time, I was already on the road and nearly at the salon. While I understand that emergencies happen, giving a customer only 15 minutes' notice for a cancellation is extremely frustrating and shows very little respect for the client's time. I asked whether another technician could perform the manicure, and a technician named Ab took over. During the appointment, he casually told me that he had been out with my original nail technician the night before and that they had gone bar-hopping together. Hearing that was upsetting because I had been told she was too sick to come to work. Whether or not that was the reason for her absence, it immediately made me question the explanation I had been given. After he applied the builder gel and polish, I noticed that several nails looked noticeably uneven. One side of multiple nails appeared much thicker and higher than the other, creating a ballooned, lopsided appearance. In addition, large portions of the sides of my nails were left without polish, leaving my natural nail visible. When I politely pointed out these concerns, I expected a professional discussion or an attempt to correct the issues. Instead, I was met with defensiveness and blame. I was told that I was wasting his time and that the problem was caused by my natural nail shape. While I understand that no one's nails are perfectly symmetrical, that does not explain why multiple nails had obvious product buildup on one side and incomplete polish coverage on the other. The technician then removed everything with a visibly poor attitude. Rather than trying to resolve the situation, he brought over the cashier and I felt as though I was being confronted for raising legitimate concerns about the quality of the work. After spending an hour in the salon, I left with no completed manicure and nails that looked worse than when I arrived. What shocked me most was that they still charged the full price of the service. I asked the cashier to contact the manager or owner and explain what had happened, but I was told that management instructed them to charge me in full despite the circumstances. I told them that this was unreasonable as they had taken off everything and left my nails looking worse (I have attached photos of how my nails looked when I left the salon). The entire experience from the last-minute cancellation, to the poor workmanship, to being blamed for pointing out obvious issues, and finally being charged full price for a manicure that was removed left me feeling disrespected and taken advantage of. Everyone can make mistakes, but what truly matters is how a business handles them. Unfortunately, this salon demonstrated poor customer service, a lack of professionalism, and very little regard for its customers' time or concerns. Update: the owner called me and told me she is reporting me to the authorities. This is the worst gaslighting I have ever experienced. She was extremely defensive and did not apologize once. She told me that a service was provided and that I needed to pay. I explained that they messed up my nails then removed everything and left my nails in worse condition. I cannot believe this is even happening. Please do not go here.

Everything at this salon has an add charge that was not explained or noted prior to the service. So it is what it is.. is the attitude. There wasn't much that could physically be done to make it right because it was closing and the techs left.
