I've reviewed this place a few times but feel like I need to do another one with a new service they started offering a few months ago. Facials and Microdermabrasion!! I have gone 3 times and not only do I love her gentle and amazing treatment when it comes to facial, she walks you through it to let you know what she's putting on your face, the dark room and quiet atmosphere is amazing and the microdermabrasion is gently focused all around your face but she takes careful time looking at areas that need more attention but then the best thing is seeing this difference! I feel and look so much better! My forehead has really felt and looked younger! I appreciate Amy and her amazing staff. This isn't my usual spot but my friend wanted to get her nails done somewhere inexpensive and close to my place. I hopped on yelp and this place came up. I don't know my nail technicians name but he got the powder on my nails SO thin and he did it so quickly. I'm amazed! The lady that spoke to us the most was so sweet and friendly. I didn't catch her name either. My only issue is that they do move at a slower pace I would say but other than that it will be a nice alternative if I dont feel like driving to my usual nail place. read more

The ppl here are very nice and attentive at this nail salon. They are very particular on their work and do an amazing job every time I come. I don't even live around here and I make the trip because they always go above and beyond when doing your nails. I normally come for shellac for my services. Only thing I wish was better is the color matching for shellac with regular polish. It's hardly ever close the same. The colors are really off, so I end up getting shellac for my toes to make sure the color match. The shellac stays on and looks great for at least 3 weeks. read more

I will never come back here. I'm not sure if the young man who worked on my nails was a new employee but my nails are messy and look horrible. Then as i pay, he charges me the amount, and I tip. Then the lady who did my feet noticed that I was not charged enough and they take more money. I literally had to have two people work on my nails to shape them correctly and it still looks bad because he rushed through the paint. This work does not deserve a tip, or even what I paid for. I want to start by saying that the staff is amazingly sweet, they always treat me so well, which is an actually something that I get to often at nail salons, so it's really painful for me to write this review but I'm writing it in hopes that they will take into consideration everything that I have to say and make their services better. I came to the salon regularly before the pandemic, and then visited a couple of times during. I never had any complaints, in fact my favorite set was done here so I was really excited to go back especially with the new renovations. When I got there I realized there were not a lot of people there which is very odd for that place, when I went it was always packed. I was greeted with the new prices because they are under new management. Boy weren't these prices new! The new packages kind of take the liberty of just adding on the add-ons that she usually have during a service. For example they no longer offer regular nail polish, gel only. Other things that they no longer offer, acrylics. This is a big deal for someone like me who is an acrylics girl. I've been wearing acrylics since I was 12; The reasoning that was given to me was because acrylics do long-term damage to your natural nail, which is true if not properly cared for acrylics can do long-term damage to your natural nail but The alternative that they provide is dip and gel hybrid with extensions, which does the exact same amount of damage if not properly cared for. The first red flag was that it was taking a very long time, like extremely long, frankly I believe this is because the technician is not used to doing acrylic styles with a dip powder. For context my go to style is a tapered square, matte, short to medium, pink and white acrylic set that used to cost $65, What I received was nowhere close. The paint job was messy, The white was bleeding onto the clear that I didn't ask for, the shape was atrocious and they were really long despite me asking them to keep them shorter. And I don't think that they are doing a bad job on purpose I just think that the new manager may be asking a lot of the technicians. To you have to switch your technique like that must be very difficult on them so I can't get angry about it, but I was frustrated. It was so bad that I end up having to go to another salon A few hours later to get it fixed, because there was literally no way that I could wear my nails out like that. And the awful part of all of this is that my nail set Plus the basic pedi package totaled to a whopping $140, not including the extra 30 I had to spend at another nail salon to get everything fixed and now where it looked decent. and because it took them so long I had some place to be so I didn't have time for any kind of duo over or anything like that. The prices are extremely steep for what you get, I usually don't like talking about prices because I'm a firm believer in you pricing your worth, but as a consumer who has been going to nail salons and spas for years I personally feel like the change in prices is very extreme and not worth the extra $30 that they are charging now on each service. Each service now is about $20-$30 extra and based on my experience it doesn't feel worth it. Came here on recommendation from Yelp. I was in the area and had a few hours to spare. I was told it would be about a 20 minute wait, however waited about 6. Thumbs up! When was seated I was asked by two employees of I wanted something to drink. Very inviting. There is a menu selection to choose what spa treatment you'd like, I always say "regular pedi" - I don't need all the fancy. I had to tell the girl not to dig into my toe cuticles. Jesus!! Why do they do that?? We all don't have ingrown toenails!!!! But besides the plea to stop the digging she did a great job. Establishment looks clean. Plastic bags in the pedi spas. About 20 seats for pedis and several chairs for manis. Top 40 music in the background. That always annoys me. I'm at a spa getting pampered, not a theatre or night club. I would have much preferred spa music. I never understand why nail salons have tvs running or crazy music playing. Sigh. Overall good experience. Nice staff. I made an appointment online with Holly last week to get my old dip off my nails and new dip put on. When I arrived, they had Mai do my nails not Holly (told me that Holly doesn't do dip powder - so I am confused why that was even an option online for me to book?). Anyways - I ask if I can have my dip powder soaked off since it saves your natural nail better, and Mai told me that it takes waaaay to long so she starts taking a cuticle trimmer to clip/rip my nails off ?!?! Ouch. As she's ripping my nails apart, I keep telling her that it hurts and my nails are going to be so weak from this and if we can soak - but nope. This actually took 40 min, so soaking would've gone faster lol. They are finally off (nails are destroyed) and I tell Mai at the beginning I don't want my cuticles trimmed bc it costs more - fast forward to after dip is put on she starts picking at my cuticles. Ends up making one bleed and her grand idea was to put nail glue (!!!) on my cuticle to stop the bleeding followed by a cotton ball and some green stuff that burns. So now the cotton ball is glued to my finger and has to be ripped off, which causes it to bleed again - this actually happened 4 times because she wouldn't just listen to me and let it be. I was there for 2 hours because of all this. And on top of this already crummy experience, the dip is thick and uneven when I asked for it to be thin. I gave 2 stars because I have been here multiple times before with other technicians and enjoyed my experience so I wanted to come back. I purposely booked an appointment with someone other than Mai, but I guess those online appointments don't even matter. After all this, I still had to pay $47... :) read more

I cannot rave about this place enough! I absolutely LOVED it! This is the first time I've visited and it has been the best service I have ever received for a simple manicure. Right off the bat, I was greeted so nicely and explained everything. The lady doing my nails took her time and gave an amazing hot stone massage afterwards. Also, she was so nice and careful with my nails. The staff were absolutely amazing. I have never had an interaction like that at a nail salon. I felt like I was talking with longtime friends. New to the area & have tried a few different nail salons. By far, best shellac manicure I have ever had. Whenever I get shellac it chips within 4 days or my nails will break, but this time it has made it to 1 week so far AND a cancun trip. They removed my acrylics as well, which usually causes the shellac chipping early bc my nails are weak BUT my nails feel amazing and not flimsy at all. I don't know how they pulled it off but I am impressed and will be a regular client. The staff is extremely courteous and very fun to interact with. Terrible service...This was my second visit to the nail salon and I received poor service, I attempted to allow different technicians to perform my pedicure and got worse results than before. When I got my pedicure done multiple techs had to work on my feet because the first one cut me and I was bleeding; then she left to tend to another customer. The second tech cut and reshaped my nails, complete redo of what was just done. I've never known licensed technicians to not complete a pedicure. I've come here a few times for mani/pedis and have found the service to be consistent. They are efficient and produce quality work. I usually come as a walk-in but have never had to wait more than five minutes (which is nothing since I take that time to pick a color). The place is very clean, the spa chairs are comfy and relatively new, and from what I've seen their methods are sanitary. All of the nail techs who have worked on me have been pleasant and accommodating. They offer water and wine like most comparable salons, which is always nice while you're relaxing. She filled the bowl with water but when another customer came she immediately left me and went to service him saying she would be right back. I had a decent experience here and was generally happy with the regular pedicure. The no-chip manicure is kind of a mess though. It began to peel off after one day, which has never happened to me in my 7 years of getting no-chip manicures. The paint is also uneven and bumpy, not smooth at all. I went here because I've done a pedicure here before so I decided to give them a chance on my nails. When I get there they tell me about 15min till they could start on me. So someone starts setting my nails up to take the shellac off... another (Caucasian) customer comes in and says she needs he nails and feet worked on bc she has a flight to catch. At this point I had been sitting for about 20min. Another tech comes to check in my nails, and I see the girl who is suppose to do my nails starting on the other lady... I then say I was here first why is she being worked on before me?! She assured me she was just filing down the nails to prepare for dip. However, I when see the tech grab products for acrylic and the nail brush.... At this point I'm furious and feel completely disrespected! I left with my nails as is! I had a shellac manicure but it literally was literally basic of all basic manicures and she cut my cuticles to the point that now I have hangnails. I had to ask that she go all the way to the edges of my nails with the polish because it seems places always like to do the bare minimum and then you have to go back and get you nails redone quicker than you should have to. I don't even understand how she ended up so far off my cuticle to begin with.Also, by the time the manicure ended, she had left several spots without nail polish. This is probably the best nail salon I've ever found. To start, the staff is so friendly and attentive. I've been coming here for about a year now and have always had the same few specialists do my nails. Second, the pedi chairs are endless! No worries about waiting forever or having to make an appointment in advance, much like most surrounding nail salons in the heights. Third, the prices are very reasonable. Not to mention, they rolled out a rewards program in December and you can get rewards cards just by continuously being a customer. Doesn't get better than that! They also offer complimentary wine or other drinks. They do amazing on waxings too. I can't think of a single negative thing about this place. It's a must try. read more
