I am going to start this by saying I almost NEVER write reviews but I went to sunny nail salon on…read morethe 3rd of July and asked for GelX nails because every time i've come here and gotten regular powder acrylic they last MAYBE two weeks and I wanted them to last longer than that. So I've gotten GelX at other salons before and it lasts a good amount of time, the technician I worked with told me to go with builder gel instead because that would make refills easier. I made sure to ask the technician if the builder gel would still work with tips to which she said yes. The job was okay, the gelx was lump and not drilled evenly, the shape was inconsistent on each nail, and the length was different for each nail. But still, I paid the amount and went on my way content with what I was given. By Tuesday the 7th the Gel began to lift from my nails and the gel even popped off completely from my index finger. I went in and they fixed it but again the quality was just as bad and while the man (I assume the manager) was "fixing" it, he explained that I should've gotten GelX because builder gel doesn't work with the tips to which I explained that YOUR employee told me this would be better and since I am not in expert in this I figured she would know best. But, again I left not wanting to spend even more time there. Then today ALL of my nails each had either the gel or both the gel and tip come off. When I called they offered to have me come in and fix it completely to which I explained that I am not going to come back in just to come back AGAIN in 5 or so days when this happens again and to just kindly refund my money. They then explained that they are unable to refund my money due to their salon's policy and that they would try acrylic or putting me with a different technician. I told them I do not want to do that and just wanted a refund, they then said that they cannot since they aren't the manager. I was told the manager would give me a call back and talk to me personally about this but then was told they never came in. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

I saw a design here in the pictures and just changed the color and tweaked some of the design along with my nail technicians suggestions and I have never been happier! I probably will never go to another nail place again and I will be coming back here and more frequently getting my nails done.

I really didn't want to leave a review I wanted to send an email to the owners however there is no…read moreway to reach these people other than calling them and I want them to see exactly what I woke up looking like the day after getting waxed. As a licensed aesthetician, I know that the proper way to walk someone is first cleanse the skin with witch hazel and then put baby powder to make sure the wax does not stick too much to the skin. Well I don't typically wax I get threaded but there's nowhere in Tomball to get threaded, so I settled with waxing right before an event. I went in the place looked nice and clean. I was seen right away. When the lady started dipping into the wax I asked her if she could cleanse my skin first she looked annoyed went to the back room and grab some sort of facial towelettes that look like the ones you use for make up removal. I thought strange that they don't just have some witch hazel. After she cleansed my lip she immediately put on the wax my heart stopped because I was like oh my god where is the baby powder. But by then it was too late. One minute after I was waxed I knew I was burned. The skin was raw and fresh. It was really red but I knew it was gonna look even worse in the following days. I went back and after 10 minutes because my lip was on fire and asked for more aloe. I got another annoyed look and a small squirt of aloe. Honestly I should ask for my money back but I know how that goes in these kind of places. Won't bother. Moral of the story to the owners: I know it's not typical protocol for these kind of nail salons, because sure maybe most people skin is not this sensitive . But you definitely need to have some witch hazel and baby powder in case somebody is sensitive. If you have sensitive skin I really recommend either going somewhere with that waxes correctly or just pray to God that they come up with a threading salon somewhere.
