I should have known that this business don't have respect for some certain people/Clients. Today was my first day doing my pedicure with my Husband. I normally go to my Liam at friendly shopping center - very professional and they do their job with seriousness and pride. And above all treat everyone with respect whether walkins or not. My pedicure looks awful the fool of a lady was so unprofessional to the extend that after she claimed she was done she couldn't even let me know she was done. she just walked away, and was on her phone. And looking at her you can clearly tell she needs all the penny she can gather. pride with no class. Jenny also walked away and left the toe separator on my husband's feet just because he said that the scrubbing wasn't clean. To the owner you can't be taking people's hard earn money and not deliver a good job. that is STEALING. Before taking the time talking about the clients take that energy use it to perform a good JOB. I will not be back again. I have going here for several years to get pedicures, but every time I go it just gets worse. I am literally trying to spend 50 bucks on a pedicure, and I walk in usually without an appointment, but they can never tell me how long it is going to take before I can get in a chair. Today they told me 5 to 10 minutes and 30 minutes later when I asked how much longer they still cannot tell me how long. I arrived at 9 AM and he told me they did not open till 9:30 AM but they were already working on customers. He said it just depended when techs arrived. Also one of the male technicians is incredibly rough during the pedicure and really irritated my skin with the salt scrub last time so I refuse to see him again. The gentleman doing my service was pretty rough with my toes doing my pedicure while clipping my cuticles and they were polished rather haphazardly. My sns on my nails is lumpy, uneven, and full of air bubbles. The shape is terrible. I got gel on my nails a week ago today. I noticed the polish was peeling up on the corner of 3 nails today and called to see what they could do. I've never had gel come off this quickly. I asked if they would take my number and have the manager call me when he got in the next day and they said that he couldn't do that. What?? They do not do refunds and kept referring to their policy, which is not posted for customers to see. I just left this salon with my sister and cousin. We decided to try this salon while they are in town because they have 5 stars on Yelp. We called and were able to get in for 3 pedicures at last minute, so that is a positive about the salon - being flexible for a group walk-in. The salon is very nice and has a quiet atmosphere, however, everyone seemed upset or bothered. We did not receive a warm welcome from anyone really, which is fine because people have bad days, but for the whole salon? A bit strange... Once we were seated and arranged in the pedicure chairs, they proceeded to question what race we were (we are Vietnamese like them, but they couldn't tell because we are bi-racial). We were able to understand everything they were saying and it was very uncomfortable. The talking died down and we enjoyed our pedicures. I received a mani/pedi and I liked my technician (did not get his name). He painted and massaged well, but I think his cuticle clippers were dull because it hurt and stung while he was clipping. This is the first salon I have been to that doesn't do the traditional soak-your-hands-in-a-water-bowl mani; instead, they use a hand warmer that felt really nice. My sister and cousin finished first and were seated at the dryer. My sister tipped her technician when he came back to check on her at the dryer. He walked back to his desk and said in Vietnamese, "she was going to leave without tipping me, she only tipped me when her cousin sat next to her!" Then when they were standing next to me while I was drying my nails, the male technician spoke about my cousin and made the comment, "her legs are longer than her torso." They continued to whisper about us with one another while we were within hearing distance of them...We have owned nail salons and have been to other salons that do not speak about their clients in Vietnamese. The only reason I am giving this salon 2 stars is because my technician was nice and respectable, while the rest of the salon and employees were not. So, I went and got my nails done at Signature Spa and Nails. Maybe about two weeks ago. I got a full set of sns nails. The shape I asked for was tapered square. It was an okay shaping. But the nail was thick too. But they are still on. Also the nails were very lumpy. It wasnt smooth at all. On the other hand my sister got her nails done too. After about 4-8 days after she got her nails done they were falling off. Now every single nail is broken. Her nails weren't smooth either. Also I forgot to mention that she was a little harsh and distracted with talking while doing my nails. Which caused pain when she was filing and clipping. These are the reasons why I give Signature Spa and nails a 2- star rated review. read more

Just moved to Greensboro a few months ago and haven't had time to find my new spot. Decided to try them out since they are less than 5 minutes from my house. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. Very clean and comfortable! I cannot recall the name of the woman that did my nails but she did a very good job. They were busy and my technician had to take care of a few other things while doing my pedicure but was very fast and I enjoyed the time to relax and soak my sore feet. 2 weeks ago i had my feet and nails done at this location. I paid $90 for s&s nails and gel pedicure. A waste of money especially for my feet. I'm 100% sure that the polish was not gel but a water down version. The next day the polish on one toe was completely gone. Now I'm down to 3 toes were the polish is peeling off. So I was in town for a weeks and needed a fill in before I returned to work back home. I looked on yelp for nail salons opened on a Sunday and Signature came up. The reviews were pretty good and the pictures posted looked good as well. I called and ask if I could come in and the man told me yes. Okay the place is beautiful! It looks like a salon for celebrities. The environment was very quiet and peaceful. However the staff was very dry. They seemed to not want to be bothered. Didn't welcome me or anything. First I got a pedicure. I have acrylic on my big two big toes and one had chipped. So I'm expecting the man to correct it. That didn't happen. He just painted over it. Unfortunately I didn't know this until I got home because the chip wasn't that bad. Next I get a fill in. The nail tech was trying to make small talk and engage in conversation, but nails was not his forte. Or at least polishing them. I kept telling him you're "missing a spot" or "touch that up". I don't know how this place has the stars that it has. First and foremost, the manager there is a complete asshole and very hostile. I had called there just to confirm a price for toes, and acrylic take off due to job. He kept cutting me off on the phone and speaking over me whenever I talked. That should have been a red flag, but I continued going because I needed something simple done and where I go to regularly they stay pretty busy. I got there and was greeted by him saying "what do you need" I told him I spoken with him over the phone etc.. he sat me down at his table. I had already had my acrylic's cut down where my natural nail has grew out, I had already told him and he can see that for himself. He proceeded to cut even lower to the point half of the acrylic which I thought it just was at the time split in half and I felt the pain, when he was cutting he kept using the D-word and asked who did these nails so thick? I was in pain and he didn't ask if I was ok he just kept cutting, that process was done. Usually the people I go to file the acrylic down to the lowest for faster soak off but he just took the polish off and wrapped me that was about it. I got the polish pedicure, the lady was good but I am sensitive to touch and she was really rough on my legs, I also felt like I was getting a leg pedicure rather than a toe pedicure. She finished, ending came out great. Once my nail was completely soaken off, I discovered my real nail(s) was actually split in half. I approached him to let him know, he yells at me in front of everyone and says I told you to get something because your nail is so thin. You should have gotten SNS. When I start talking he walks away and goes to a client as if he doesn't hear anything I said. I asked for a discount, he said no. I literally almost cried because of how bad my nail is hurting and burning. Worst place ever. read more

I have been to this nail salon a few times as it is walking distance from my apartment. I usually get decent service; however, my last visit was a different story. My technician started soaking my nails to remove the SNS. About 10 minutes into the soak, someone walked in that had a scheduled appointment (who came in nearly 30 minutes late) with the technician that was doing my nails. Several employees commented that she was late. The customer acknowledged and said I came anyway in case I can still be seen. Well, what did they do?? My nail technician went on and saw her! She said that someone else would finish me up (that someone else was still doing someone else's nails). If I could have left at that moment, I would have. I then waiting about another 15 minutes before the other lady finished with her customer. That was horrible customer service. What I know is that I will not be back! I would rather drive out of my way to go to a salon that can treat their customers better than that than to walk to that salon. read more

I keep telling myself to stop coming here but it's so close to my home. I have a problem every time I get my nails done here. Either they can't seem to shape my nails right but want to charge me extra for the shape or my nails popping off just days after I had just gotten them done. This past week I went for a fill in and I went back and forth between chairs because they were fussing about who would take me. I could tell that the lady who I ended up with didn't wanna do my nails and her work showed. She literally caked the acrylic on my nails, a few of my nails were filed crooked, and I can already see them trying to. Of course you don't notice these things until you have already left. I have been trying to find a nail salon that I love and want to return for my next fill in, well this is not the salon for me. My soon to be mother in law, our neighbor, and I have been trying this place for the last few weeks. I have had a fill in three times and I have had a pedicure here. It seemed fine nothing special but ok, until my last two visits. On Christmas Eve we went in to have a mani pedi to actually celebrate my birthday, which happens to be Christmas Eve. They were very busy so we had to wait an hour and a half. That was no problem because it seemed like they were taking their time. The pedicure was fine but when we went to start our manicures it felt like they started to rush to get us out the door so they can help more people. I'm not sure of my technicians name but when she was shaping my nails (stilleto is what I asked for) I noticed the were not looking the way I prefer them. So I asked her if the twisting shape was supposed to be that way and she said "I'll fix it in the next step" so I stayed quiet because this is not my profession so I didn't want to seem rude. Then when she was painting my nails I noticed the base coat was separating so I said something about that and she ignored me. She then refused to give me two coats of the metallic gel polish I asked for because it would be "too thick" (her words). So I left that day with very long thick nails that were shaped slightly odd for what I asked for. Well two days later they all started snapping and breaking in half. I have a very scattered schedule so I had to wait almost a week to go get them fixed. When I went back to get them fixed I spoke with the owner. He seemed annoyed that I said they were breaking and wouldn't listen to my story, he cut me off and said "yea we will fix them" and went back to his client before I could explain why I was actually upset. Then the woman who did my nails last time had me sit in her seat. The entire time she "fixed" my nails (only the two that were shattered, she didn't fix the ones that cracked at the tip) she told me how it's my fault they were broken. She said multiple times I had to have done something to ruin my nails and how customers always said they did nothing but they always are the ones to break their nails. I was so livid at this point I stopped talking and let her finish. When she was done she just sat back in her chair. I looked down at my completely misshapen and deffinifely not finished nails and looked back at her. I said thank you and knew I'd never walk back in that salon. read more

Dropped my teenage daughter off to quickly get acrylic nails removed as she has cheer tryouts this week. Since it was close to closing (435 on a Sun); I ran in in advance to confirm they could remove them. They said yes, so in she came. The spa is beautiful inside and they seem to be well-staffed and expedient. My daughter phoned 15-20 min later to tell me she was finished. Once in the car, I asked what was her total. I was completely taken aback at the fact she was charged $15 to remove acrylic. I then surmised it was a higher price due to location. But then my daughter explained a tipping problem she had. According to my daughter (which she later admitted was explained wrong), she tipped $1 but then was asked by her tech to give more because she needed the money. At this point, I almost did a u-turn in the road because one thing you will not do is play on the weakness of a teenage child with a debit card. My daughter explained that she changed her tip to $3 for a grand total of $18. So, I did decide to return to inquire about this. Upon walking in, I asked the gentleman near the front the cost to remove acrylic. He confirmed the price of $15. Cool. But then I asked who serviced my teen moments earlier and he immediately summoned a young lady named 'Lynn' to the front. In the same calm tone I used when I entered the spa, I asked why was my daughter asked to change her tip to $3. Lynn looked shocked and immediately explained that she did not ask my daughter to change the tip because she needed money (even saying I could ask others there) but instead that she needed my daughter to write the total on the tip line (which would have been $16) but my daughter must have misunderstood and thought she meant she needed to tip more. Lynn did come across as genuine plus I know my daughter; she is not the best at telling a story. But this is where I almost lost my cool. I had already explained to Lynn that the tip of $3 would remain because it was my daughter's fault but then the gentleman who initially helped me kept yelling, 'we won't charge the tip then' and throwing his hands in the air as if he were disgusted. Mind you; imI NEVER asked for the tip removed/changed because Lynn explained her version and it seemed genuine. Unfortunately, his reaction caused Lynn to go back into defense mode about her story and she kind of raised her voice. I asked her to not yell since I wasn't and she quickly obliged. If only this could have been a conversation between me and Lynn...all would have been well. But instead, the gentleman kept ranting about not charging the tip even after I repeatedly told him to please keep the tip...this was clearly my daughter's fault. Lynn, fortunately, got it and she apologized for the inconvenience and I did the same and said thank you. I am still peeved at how rude the gentleman tech was for a situation that clearly did not involve him. I was not being rude to Lynn...I just asked a question. Of course, she went in defense mode immediately because she felt my daughter was accusing her of something; I would have too if the shoe were on the other foot. But, she explained what happened with enough sincere conviction that I was pleased. It was the gentleman tech who tried to escalate the situation. Sigh! Yes, I have spoken to my daughter about ensuring she explains situations accurately and to ensure she asks questions in the future if she misunderstands. My hope is that the gentleman tech is coached on diffusing situations instead of escalating them in the future. read more

Recently moved to Greensboro & have had the daunting task of finding "my girl", my nail girl that is! Having left Jenny all the way in California was upsetting to say the least! Y'all know what I'm talking about...you never want to leave the perfect nail girl...anyway... I've tried countless salons from new friends recommendations...none did the trick! So yesterday, my mama happened upon Signature Nails...and enjoyed it (huge deal for my fussier than fussy mama)!!! I was desperate for a good mani/pedi, so I trotted on over! I just happened to get the same girl my mom did, Lan! First of all...she's gorgeous, sweet and easy to understand! The salon was fresh & clean, even smelled clean! I was the first customer of the day and they got my bowl ready to go! I was given an extensive menu of peds and picked one with lots of rubbing! Seriously...lots of rubbing....like really, lots! The massage chair was totally legit! It hit my lower back and made my eyes roll back in my head! Needless to say...I loved my pedi! We moved over to a very clean station! She lathered me up in oil and cuticle cream...then slipped my hands in electric hand warmers!!! It kept getting better from there! Guess what...I found my girl...
