I asked to let me know before starting work if there would be any additional charges. He said it wasn't a problem to do so (there were no additional charges). During the process, I noticed there was some debris on the top of my garage after the leaf blowing stage, and stepped out to mention it to Jason. He explained he would need to do another round to rinse the gutters, but he backtracked and took care of the gravel before he even got to the rinsing stage.
