They are located near Honeybaked Ham! Great first dining experience! Delicious malai kofta, chicken tikka masala and butter chicken. I'm glad they had San Pelegrino. Delicious mango lassi! Great for groups. Daily buffet Butter naan was delicious. I asked if they would play Indian music instead of the piano music and they were obliging. The service was great! 5 stars Thank you very much!

I used to be a regular here when I lived in the area. I loved coming here so much! The food was amazing per usual. We ordered a raga dosa, paani puri, Gulaab Jaamon, and garlic naan. Everything was so delicious and came out fresh. The service was slow since there were only 2 people working. It was definitely worth the wait though! We went on a Thursday evening and it was pretty quiet-really nice atmosphere to have a normal conversation without having to raise your voice.

Tried this place based on reviews on a Friday night. We left very satisfied and happy that we gave it a try. We were welcomed in by a staff of 3 tonight and seated quickly. Meals were delivered to the table in reasonable time and all of the foods were hot. For drinks we only ordered the mango lassi which was great and recommend trying. For apps and meals, we ordered an array of items. Our favorites for the evening were Gobi Manchurian, Paneer Butter Masala, Uttapom, and dosa. The sambhar and chutneys that accompanied some of the items were also delicious. The restaurant was clean and felt they do a good job maintaining the premises. Definitely recommend giving this place a try.

We wanted dosas and came on a Saturday night around 8pm. The waiters were so welcoming and attentive. They checked on us like five or six times throughout our meal. We ordered off the menu (no buffet). I love how all of the gluten free and vegan items are clearly labeled. About 1/2 of the menu is GF which I loved. We got a rava masala and a Mysore masala dosa. The dosas were fresh, hot, crispy and just perfect. They are huge and each one is enough for 2 people.

Of all the Indian restaurants in the north Dallas area I have been to, this one definitely ranks in my top 3 for its exceptional service and amazing food. They have a huge menu with helpful labels for what is vegan and gluten free, and things can be customized to be Jain. I ordered the pindi choley (chickpeas in a tomato sauce curry) which was phenomenal and filling (even had some leftover for half another meal), and the mango pudding which was syrupy and satisfied my sweet tooth. Total came out to be $17.24! Only complaint would be the environmentally-unfriendly styrofoam, plastic containers, and plastic wrap around everything.

I gave it a second try, and I must say, it was great! The Methi Paneer was so delicious, really

We went here for lunch on a Saturday. When we arrived, I discovered it was all vegetarian and I was really in the mood for chicken tikka masala so we almost left. I guess I did not read the reviews carefully. I am glad we did not leave because the food is excellent. Deep, complex flavors. A little spicy but not overwhelming. We did the buffet ($12.99 per person on weekends). I have no idea what everything was but all the dishes were absolutely delicious. We went back for seconds, even after a full plate the first time. The topper for me and what pushed me to five stars was the fresh, hot naan bread brought to our table. There was no naan on the buffet line and I was disappointed because I love to sop up the delicious curry sauce. So when naan came out, I was a very happy person. The service was attentive. The person who I presume is the owner was very friendly and helpful. Overall, this is a real find for Indian food lovers.

Service is great, employees are all very nice and attentive. They'll bring out roti or naan for you as much as you want for the buffet. All of the food at the buffet is great and there are plenty of vegetarian options, along with a few chicken dishes. Restaurant was also very clean and had some nice music playing.

Was craving curry so took some friends for lunch. Veg curry dishes served buffet style. What a disappointment arrived at noon, there was only 3 parties dining but most dishes empty and food that was out was cold as if the buffet trays had no heating to them. Empty dishes came out and slow to refill. Naan came to table at the end of the meal. What we did try was tasty enough but looking for a spicy curry. By the time we left there was about 4 more parties and the grumbling about waiting on the food became stressful. No staff wearing masks, but neither were most customers. We were offered water or ice water only even though others had drinks so not sure the disconnect with the staff. It was pricey for 3 to not eat much for $50.00 with tip.

Buffet greatness! Vegetarian but you won't miss the meat.

Hands down the best Indian restaurant in Dallas! If you're looking for authentic, high-quality,…read moreup-scale Indian food that doesn't break the bank, this is the place. The service is amazing and personalized, the drinks are on point, and the food is outstanding. Having lived in Houston and Chicago, great Indian food has always been a staple for me, and it was something I really missed after moving to Dallas two years ago. Despite the large Indian population and many restaurants here, the quality and authenticity usually fall short of cities like Houston, New York, or Chicago--until I found Delhi 6. I've already been back four times. The dhaba-style butter chicken is one of the absolute best I've ever had, and the Rogan Josh is another personal favorite.

Usually, when Yelp sends me on a 30-minute trek for lunch, it's because the algorithm has decided I…read moreneed more "character building" or that I haven't spent enough on gas this month. My "quick search" for local Indian food spat out Delhi6 Indian Kitchen & Bar as the top choice. Thirty minutes and 14 miles of Highland Village pavement later, I checked Google Maps only to find there was an Indian spot one mile from my location. At that point, I wasn't just hungry; I was "Yelp-betrayed" hungry. Walking into Delhi6 is a bit of a trip. I expected a standard restaurant; I got a lounge that felt like I should have traded my sneakers for a velvet blazer. It was dim, moody, and featured tabletop lamps that made me feel like I was about to negotiate a high-stakes merger--or at least a very serious order of Garlic Naan. I was greeted by Rohi, a man so well-dressed he made the rest of the room look under-rendered. He introduced himself as the acting manager and dropped a line so bold I almost choked on my own anticipation: "This is the best Indian restaurant in all of Texas." Sir, those are "fightin' words" in a state that takes its spices as seriously as its brisket. My expectations didn't just rise; they hit the ceiling. To see if Rohi was a prophet or just a very stylish salesman, I applied my standard Indian Food Litmus Test. No fancy bells and whistles--just the classics. Their menu, by the way, is a literal tome. It's as thick as the Cheesecake Factory menu, but thankfully with fewer pictures of Glazed Salmon and more promises of cumin-induced euphoria. The Tandoori Chicken was smokey, tender, redder than a fire engine. It had that perfect "kissed by the flames" char and a deep, smoky soul. The Chicken Tikka Masala balanced creaminess and spice. It was sweet, savory, and vibrating with bright spices. The chicken was so tender it practically dissolved on impact. The Paratha was dry and a bit tough--the one "C" on an otherwise straight-A report card. Despite the paratha being more "cardboard" than "cloud-like," the rest of the meal was a revelation. I found myself nodding along to Rohi's bold claims with every bite of that Tikka Masala. The flavors weren't just good; they were "I'm glad I drove 14 miles for this" good. It's right up there with the heavy hitters like Taj Mahal and Café Maharani. If I ever find myself in Highland Village again--or if Yelp decides to trick me into a cross-state road trip--I'm stopping back at Delhi6. Thank you, Yelp, for being terrible at math but excellent at finding me a five-star "mistake."

I made a 9:00 PM reservation because the restaurant's posted hours showed that they were open until midnight. We arrived shortly after 9:00 and were seated, but the experience felt off from the beginning. There was bottled Acqua Panna water on the table, and when we were asked whether we wanted regular water or the bottled water, I chose the bottled water. The immediate response was, "It's $5." I had absolutely no issue with paying $5 for water, but the way it was communicated felt unnecessarily presumptive and rubbed me the wrong way. A simple explanation that the bottled water was available for an additional charge would have felt much more welcoming. Then, around 9:20, we were informed that last call for food was at 9:30. When I asked what time the restaurant closed, I was told 9:30. That was extremely confusing considering the posted closing time was midnight and, more importantly, the reservation system allowed me to make a 9:00 PM reservation. At that point, we decided to leave. I personally don't like ordering food right before a restaurant closes, and had the correct hours or last-order time been communicated when I made the reservation, I simply would have chosen somewhere else from the beginning. Instead, our dinner plans were disrupted and we had to find another restaurant after 9 PM. I will say that the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and has a really cute, inviting atmosphere. That's honestly what makes the experience even more disappointing. I had been looking forward to enjoying the food, drinks, and overall atmosphere, and it's unfortunate that we really didn't get the opportunity to experience any of it. I can't speak to the food or drinks since we never got the chance to try them, but the reservation availability, posted hours, communication, and overall experience upon arrival definitely need improvement.

The vegetarian buffet is relatively small, but nutritionally diverse and dense. Dishes today ranged from simple steamed broccoli and carrots to curried cauliflower and multiple legume dishes, to a salad bowl with a wide range of fresh colorful veggies. You will leave full and happy, I fully expect, if you try it too. The little restaurant is housed in a beautiful ornate temple, and has a lovely outdoor courtyard to dine in on pleasant days (I eat inside when it's hot or cold out.) Service is minimal, but attentive by buffet joint standards. Parking is a secure private lot and spaces are plentiful. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy, but you are fully separated from it if you park in the secure lot. For $15 at lunch, you will likely have your most nutritious meal of your (pick a time period), and get a free drink and desserts. Some items are available for upcharge, but I find them to be unnecessary. The vibe is temple casual and reminds me of hippy establishments I used to frequent in the 70s and 80s. Getting here was only slightly tricky, as it's not located in a strip mall or anything, but down a somewhat crummy street, in its own gated area, with a parking lot. I really enjoyed the Sambhar soup, Kofta balls in tomato gravy, the spicy-pickled peppers, and the Chickpea curry. The outdoor dining area is just lovely, especially with good weather, and the temple grounds are very peaceful and enjoyable. Very reasonable price for such a relaxing and unique meal, and the staff were very friendly. My only complaint is that since we got there about an hour after lunch, some of the food had gotten a bit dry.
