The staff is great but nothing tastes good. We literally ordered half of the appetizer menu and not a single dish was good

This Middle Eastern and Mediterranean market has been serving the community since the 1970s. My colleagues introduced me to this hidden gem, and I've been hooked for the past 2.5 years. This local, family-owned business serves incredibly fresh, delicious food. My favorite sides are the Israeli couscous salad with currants, Craisins, edamame, red, orange, and yellow sweet peppers; the roasted cauliflower garnished with basil and tahini; and the lentil salad with caramelized onions and roasted garlic cloves that simply melt in your mouth--or, even better, spread on their fresh, house-made pita bread. My favorite hot platters are the Shish Tawook Platter, featuring perfectly seasoned chicken chunks smothered in garlic aioli with diced tomatoes and fresh herbs; the Spicy Chicken Kabob Platter; and the Black Angus Shawarma Platter, made with Black Angus beef sirloin and garlic aioli. All platters are served with rice, hummus, and fattoush salad. The platters are also available as wraps, filled with garlic aioli, parsley, lettuce, tomato, and onion, all wrapped in their freshly baked, house-made flatbread. They also carry an impressive assortment of spices, fresh pita, olives, olive oil, and many other Middle Eastern specialty items. Please come support this hidden, family-owned gem. We are losing far too many wonderful family-owned businesses, and I don't want to lose this one. They truly deserve our support. Every time I visit, the customer service is warm and welcoming. They remember their customers, greet you with a smile, and always make you feel like family. They even call me "Q" (short for Qcute), which always makes me laugh. It's those little personal touches that keep me coming back. If you're looking for authentic Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food made with fresh ingredients and served by genuinely kind people, you won't be disappointed.

This is truly an amazingly authentic old world, Lebanese restaurant tucked into West Palm Beach Beach. Don't let the unassuming building dissuade you from trying this amazing establishment. They make incredible Shawarma's and kebab sandwiches and plates. They also have the best fresh made pita bread in Florida, which they sell to the public, but only from their market. Additionally, they have the best selection of olives I have seen outside of New York or the Middle East. Just don't tell everyone about it or there will be lines out the door.

I'm glad I did! The location is in the Home Depot shopping center, so it may not be the most prime location, but parking was easy and convenient, and it's close to the surrounding neighborhoods. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a very friendly and respectful host. The restaurant was nicely done, and even though we arrived a little early before the dinner rush, the atmosphere was already great. We were seated right away, and both our server and the manager came over quickly to make sure everything was taken care of. We ordered a great variety of appetizers for the table baba ghanouj, hummus, falafel, kibbeh, labneh, and fresh bread. Everything looked beautiful, smelled amazing, and tasted even better. I ordered the lamb kabab with rice, and honestly, it was so good I didn't want to share it with anyone. The music was great, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was fantastic. I was especially impressed with how involved and attentive the manager and server were throughout the meal. If you love Mediterranean or Middle Eastern food, or you simply enjoy trying different kinds of food, I definitely recommend giving La Vie Mediterranean a try. In my opinion, this is easily one of my top three Middle Eastern restaurants on the East Coast. Great food, great people, great service, and a really enjoyable experience. One tip: come hungry and leave room for the meal and definitely try several different appetizers! The owner really nailed it with this place. Highly recommended!

The space was clean with plenty of seating, and the staff was warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They gave me time to browse the menu without any rush, and were ready to take my order the moment I decided. I went with the Falafel and Eggplant Pita Wrap, ordered exactly as it comes -- five crispy handmade falafels, roasted eggplant, hummus, tomato and cucumber salad, purple cabbage slaw, white onions, tomatoes, pickles, and lemon tahini sauce. What I loved about the presentation was how they sliced the pita and stuffed the toppings inside the pocket, then placed the eggplant and falafel on the outside before wrapping everything up tightly. It made for a much easier, cleaner eat -- no toppings tumbling out with every bite! My first bite was amazing. The fresh flavors really shined, the falafels were perfectly crispy, and the eggplant had that deep, savory roasted flavor. Every topping complemented the others beautifully, and I walked away completely satisfied. I am so happy I found this fast and healthy option close by! I also grabbed a baklava and a mango sparkling probiotic drink -- both delicious. Beyond the food, they have soft drinks, tea, and lemonade, plus a sauce bar with vinegar and oil if you want to customize your meal even further. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. I can't wait to come back and try their other menu options!

I was visiting friends, and since her family is pretty big, this has become their go-to restaurant. She mentioned that the staff never hesitates when a large party walks in and always accommodates everyone without making it feel like an inconvenience. The dining room is one large, open space with tables throughout, creating a lively atmosphere. I absolutely loved it. It was filled with people enjoying incredible food, and you could tell this place was a local favorite. Of course, I had to start with one of their Greek beers, served in a traditional beer mug, which was the perfect way to kick off the meal. We also ordered the tzatziki and hummus sampler, and I'm so glad we did. The flavors were unbelievable, and they were incredibly generous with the warm pita bread. Honestly, I ate so much of the sampler that by the time it came to order my entrée, all I could manage was a piece of grilled chicken. Even then, I found myself dipping the chicken into the hummus and tzatziki because they were just that good. I left completely full, happy, and even had leftovers to take home. The staff was fantastic--everyone worked together seamlessly, helping one another and making sure every table was taken care of. It created such a welcoming atmosphere. After eating here, it's easy to understand why this restaurant has so many outstanding reviews. The food, service, and overall experience absolutely live up to the hype.

We had the warm pita bread with the taziki, the best part of the meal, this is freshly made and trust me, you taste the garlic in every bite. It's so fresh and homemade. The spanakopita is ok, I get it every once in a while but it's not my favorite. They make a lot of good dishes. I highly recommend this place.
