If I could give 0 stars, I would. Don't go here!!! Dr. Daneshmand spent less than 3 minutes with me on March 18, 2025 to visually look at a cyst on my hip that was causing pain. My primary physician had referred this plastic surgeon for removing the cyst to reduce scar appearance. Dr. Daneshmand told me he would check with my insurance to see what my out of pocket would be, and the front office told me they would let me know within 10 business days. I paid my $30 co-pay in person the same day as my visit. I never received any follow up calls, messages or texts so I called 3 weeks later. The office claimed to have called me back, but they didn't. They said they're not sure what my out of pocket would be after talking to my insurance, and I wouldn't know until 6 months after the cyst removal procedure. On April 14, 2025, I received an email saying I owe them $35. I called the front desk asking what this was for as I already paid by "specialist co-pay" of $30 as outlined on my insurance card. They said to send an email with screenshots of the bill and my credit card transaction, but I never heard back from them after I sent the email with screenshots. A few weeks later, I received a physical bill in the mail again for the $35. I feel like there are some shady billing practices here. On my bill, I see the doctor charged $460 for the consultation that was seriously less than 3 minutes and useless as it resulted in vague answers about what my out of pocket would be to remove this cyst. This office is just out to get your money, and they even tried to gaslight me saying plenty of patients get procedures with them even if they don't know what their out of pocket will be. I am disgusted and frustrated with this office's lack of respect for patients, lack of follow up, and lack of business ethics. read more

I originally wrote a positive review for this business, but I could not leave that review in place any longer, so I have deleted it. Here is a more accurate review now that time has passed, and the surgery I had done is well past being completely healed: After a double mastectomy for breast cancer in January 2023, Dr. Daneshmand did my breast reconstruction in June 2023. Initially, the reconstruction looked "ok", and based on the fact that he told me I'd be really happy with the results after 1 year, I felt very positive about the final outcome. Now 16 months later, I simply can't believe how horrible my breasts look! The "dog ears" that he said he could prevent by doing longer incisions are so big that they are visible from the front and go all the way back, almost under my armpits. And he did longer incisions to prevent this from happening, so I have scars going all the way under my armpits. I know post mastectomy reconstruction surgeries don't always turn out as good as a regular boob job, so I had realistic expectations. But what I was left with in my reconstruction is rediculously bad. I have even worn an underwire bra at Dr. D's suggestion and a sports bra at night to do everything possible to keep them in good shape. But I feel so deformed that it's really wearing me down emotionally. Thinking it was my imagination, I've shown a few of my closest girl friends, and they always say, "Oh!! That IS bad!" I found Dr. Daneshmand to be kind, and he had a good sense of humor, but I didn't feel that my questions were answered or all my options were explained. I also had to stand my ground for smaller implants than what he thought I should have. I wouldn't even consider going back to Silhouette for a correction consult (so please don't even ask). Instead, I'll be seeing a different Plastic Surgeon who has "compassion for breast cancer survivors", and I will endure yet another major surgery in order to fix this disaster. read more

We went to Dr Daneshman because I briefly went to college with him and assumed he was a professional and would give us that extra measure of care. His name was on the building so he must be good, right? Wrong. My wife had a tummy tuck, implants and breast lift. What a disaster! My beautiful wife's nipples are now misshapen with one pointing up and the other down. One nipple when touched causes severe pain. She also wanted a slight tummy tuck and is not overweight but had a small menopausal belly. Instead of a scar below the bikini line she now has a high jagged belly scar that runs from hip to hip and looks as if she survived a car wreck. We have consulted other board certified plastic surgeons in an attempt to correct her breasts and belly scar and the cost is almost equal to the original surgery (she won't let him touch her). After an examination their comments were charitably described that he didn't have good "technique". Her nipple pain will never go away. read more

I had developed a squamous cell carcinoma on the inner helix of my right ear. By the time I realized I had a problem and by the time my dermatologist's office finally got around to getting me a referral to see Dr. Daneshmand, my ear was quite involved. It was quite a mess. Dr. Daneshmand operated on me, removing the carcinoma and performing a skin graft with tissue taken from the skin on my clavicle. I had several follow-up visits with him until he was satisfied that the graft had taken. Such visits were easily arranged with the excellent, friendly office staff. He showed up to assist her with my main surgery and he's been by my side through all necessary reconstructive surgeries. Due to all the radiation treatments I received, massive skin graphing was required which he patiently and successfully performed on me. He's extremely kind and gentle and received many rave reviews from all the nurses I met at the Saddleback Hospital, my radiation clinic, and my Oncologist office. I've always been beyond satisfied with Dr. Daneshmand. From the first time I had a consultation with him about 22 years ago when he was still a fairly new doctor- I thought he was warm, down to earth, and thorough in his explanations. I've seen him a handful of times over the years, and most recently saw him earlier today. My initial impression stands...he is great! His staff is also very nice and professional. The office is beautiful and well-kept. I will most certainly remain a client of his. It's sad to see some of the negative reviews on here. I just think that everybody doesn't have the same personality, and also some peoples bodies may just be in worse condition than they think. A plastic surgeon isn't a miracle worker. What a waste of money! The staff was nice and friendly, especially Miss. Parva. Dr. Daneshmand is rude, does what he wants, never explains anything entirely to you, he never gave me an option nor told me the pros and cons of different types of arm lift surgery. has NO patience, and interrupts you constantly. The bottom line is you are just another $ sign to him. He messed up my Aremlift surgery and after complaining to him, he said I'll fix it for you ( NOT FOR FREE ). I have seen his jobs on tummy tuck and was hoping to get the same positive results. He cut under my armpits and did a Horrible job of stitches and left all the extra skin. Now If I have to pay again to get my arms fixed, I rather go to another surgeon who knows what he is doing. read more

I've agonized about writing this review for over 2 years but it's only fair to prospective patients to hear honest reviews in order to make an informed decision about something that is as important as going under the knife of a surgeon. I was referred to this Dr. By my breast surgeon who would be performing my surgery at the same time. I had a bi lateral mastectomy with replacement of breast implants to be done by this Dr. I brushed off his bedside manner as I am an ER Nurse and know that you can still be a brilliant Dr. Even if you are not the most polite person. The surgery was completed and during my post op appointments I had many complaints about the condition of one of my breast. I felt like the Dr just brushed off my concerns. On one appointment I told him that I felt my implant had flipped while during one of my visits he pressed on them really hard to try to release a few of the internal sutures. He denied that the implant was flipped. After examining me my breast Dr sent me for CT. The ct determined that the implant was intact but didn't determine the placement. I could literally see that the back of the implant was now in the front. The Dr continued to deny this. I then went to a second surgeon and he ended up having to remove the implants and replace with slightly larger ones to try to fix the damage that the previous implant had done by flipping. That surgeon confirmed what I already knew that the implant had intact been flipped. I was so disappointed with the treatment that this Dr. gave me but I didn't even believe it would help to let him know that what I said was confirmed in a surgery to repair his messy work. I also remember asking for pain medication due to the condition of my breast being to painful "just in case" I needed it and he treated me like I was drug seeking yet I have zero history and don't even like taking any type of meds as it is. If this review helps even one person to avoid anything like I went through with this sub par surgeon I will be grateful. Zero stars would be much more appropriate. read more

Dr.D has to be one of my favorite doctors. I went to him to get a breast reduction and he didn't disappoint whatsoever. As a 22 year old, I was a little scared having to do such a huge surgery but I couldn't be happier with the way it went! His staff is amazing and so understanding. I got a referral from my Primary doctor and within that week I got an appointment with Dr.D and a couple weeks later I was getting my reduction! Dr.D is very nice and answered all my questions. Dr. Danshmand is the best Doctor I could have asked for! I suffered for years with large keloids on my chest. They were painful, itchy, and continued to grow larger as days passed. I had tried everything from steroid injections, chemo injections, and lasers. Nothing helped. Surgery was my final option. I had my first surgery in October 2019 and plan to have my next one to have another removed in February 2020. Perfect time for my wedding later this year! I was referred to Dr D by my PCP and I couldn't be happier! I was very nervous about my surgery and Dr D put me at ease with his excellent "bed side manner.". The staff in his office is very welcoming, knowledgeable and greets each patient by name. And the most important part; I am very happy with the outcome of my surgery. One should approach plastic surgery with an open mind and understand that any surgeon is not a miracle worker. Dr D was very upfront from the beginning and told me exactly what outcome I could expect. I appreciated his honest and realistic prognosis and he didn't pressure me to make a snap decision, instead taking his time to answer my questions and concerns so that I was able to make the most informed decision possible. UPDATE: I became concerned about my incision on a Sunday morning and I called the Dr.'s office. One of the choices that was offered is if I had an immediate concern and I did. If I could give this place and more importantly, this Dr. a negative star I would! For starters, I was referred to this place by my primary Dr. - not by my own personal choice. After waiting for over an hour and a half for the appointment that was scheduled 2 weeks in advance.. I finally get called to the consultation room to wait another 10 minutes for the Dr. This is where it gets good. His almost instantaneous reaction to my chart was ' Why did they refer you to me?!?!?!' Uh hmmmmm excuse me, pleasure to meet you too!!! He proceeds to treat me with disdain and discounts my feelings/concerns. Mind you, making a Dr appointment where the slightest possibility of cancer being an outcome.. Is not an easy one to make. He proceeds to tell me, after only feeling around, that he doesn't think it's anything and that I could live this way for months. Well, that's great but I don't want to.. His response, was none other than.. I have patients with serious concerns. I walked out of the consultation completely deflated and quite honestly in shock that someone firmly believes that your needs are below there pay grade. Given that this process had already taken time, from receiving the referral and scheduling the consultation appointment, I chose to stick it out and just get the procedure done... Rather than starting all over. After 2 weeks of waiting for a call, I finally called in to confirm receipt of procedure approval. Well.. That was an experience!!! The girl that answered said she was new and trying to get used to things, had been left alone, didn't know where my chart was and stated she was overwhelmed because 2 girls had recently quit!!! Whoa.. What is going on at this place. She proceeded to say that she would be checking in with the Dr only a surgery date, as I was unable to make it to the one that was initially being offered. Dr calls back and says I remember you and I can't see you for at least another 6 weeks! Needless to say, words were exchanged at the disbelief of his disdain once again. At this point, I requested an alternate referral BC subduing myself to this Dr is absolutely out of the question!!!! read more

I was referred to "Dr D's" office from my dermatologist. The office has very nice, comfortable furnishings and exam chairs. The people at the front were nice and the Dr was nice. He answered my questions and scheduled my small surgery a week later. I am waiting for my surgery right so I will update how that went - I expect well :) A few weeks after surgery I am updating my review. Before surgery it was 5 stars. Now, it is 2. Dr. D did not warn me, let me know, or discuss what type of scar I would have. I now have a large dent in my arm because of his incision. (Looks like a chunk of my arm is missing) He said AFTER the fact, that he could have not created this dent by making a longer cut. Maybe tell your patients this prior to denting them for (hopefully not) life? I relayed my frustrations to him, but there's nothing that can be done AFTER he did the procedure. The scare itself is healing nicely. You can't really see it anymore, even though it's about a month old. But the dent dominates my arm. My suggestion to his future patients: ask questions. If you don't ask, he won't tell. I don't want anyone else getting dents in their appendages. :( read more
