- A PIG with LIPSTICK ON -- Building and Staff The so called " Relationship Managers" are rude and have ZERO interest in solving concerns after they get you to...sign a lease. They all get COMMISSION so unless you're there to sign on the dotted line.. they have no interest in having any kind of conversation to address your needs. All the ones I've encountered seem Young, BORED, and Disinterested in performing their jobs in a professional manner....and forget about "Good Customer Service".. that's a foreign concept at this establishment . They are SALES PEOPLE ( first and foremost) and the only relationship these " relationship managers " want with you is the one when you're in their office and signing on the dotted line. I asked a " Relationship Manager" for her manager or corporate office contact information , she turned her head and said she can't give out contact information to the general manager nor the corporate office. Huh? Who says that lol. Clearly she's not very bright... like we're not able to GOOGLE and get the AMIDI GROUP ( located in Redwood City, Ca. ) or the General Manager ARGIS contact information? The unfortunate thing about this building is that I have encountered this RUDE behavior from several of these " relationship managers" , not just one! Which make you wonder about the person who is at the top " managing them", to allow this type of behavior reflects badly on MANAGEMENT. Often staff will model how MANAGEMENT behaves...hmmm So in a nutshell , do I recommend this particular Concrete Jungle with their staff of rude ineffective GEN X Sales People? Absolutely not! There's many nicer places in LA with a staff that is also nice CARES about keeping tenants happy so that they'll want to stay...this place clearly just cares about getting your $$$$$. I attended an event back in February and the Relationship Manager, Milton O'campo said I could get a complimentary weekend stay. He asked me to email him, which I did, and he confirmed it in writing. He also said I could let him know just a week before the weekend I wanted to stay. I sent another email in May to give him some advance notification for a weekend in August and he replied. I emailed him twice again end of July and he didn't respond. I called numerous times and I finally got through. While I am on the phone with him, I noticed he sent and an email and he says the policy has changed and they no longer offer short stays. I asked when they changed the policy and he said it doesn't matter. I asked for a copy of the policy change and he is unable to provide it. I asked to speak to his manager and he says it doesn't matter. I asked for the manager's contact info and he refuses to provide it. read more

SkyLux on Wilshire (formerly 1027 Wilshire Apartments) -- 1 out of 5 Stars I am writing this review as both a returning resident and a property management industry professional with experience across luxury, commercial, LIHTC, and Section 8 properties. I was among the first tenants when this building opened as 1027 Wilshire under the Amidi Group three years ago. I recently moved back in four months ago, and the decline since then is significant, deeply concerning, and unacceptable for a property at this price point. Vehicle Break-In -- No Accountability My wife and I had our vehicle broken into within the active security perimeter of this property. Management refused to proactively review their own camera footage or report findings to law enforcement. Instead, we were told a police officer would need to come to the property to obtain the video. A police report had already been filed. Management has cameras throughout this building, can identify the perpetrator, determine which unit or area they accessed, and contact law enforcement directly. That is their professional responsibility. Handing raw footage to a victim who has a personal stake in identifying that person creates a safety and liability risk. This was never done. No follow-up, no resolution, no accountability whatsoever. Security Has Completely Fallen Apart Under the Amidi Group, security was a genuine standout. There were 6 to 7 officers on site at all times conducting active patrols. A security supervisor was present during morning and midday shifts. Tenants were personally contacted when guests arrived after set hours. Officers wore professional suits, some armed and some not, but you could not tell the difference -- and that professionalism alone was a deterrent. Today, security is visibly lazy and inattentive. Posts are not being maintained, patrols are nonexistent, and there is no supervisory presence. For a building experiencing active break-ins and ongoing criminal complaints, this is completely unacceptable. The Tenant Interview Process Is Gone One of the most effective practices under the Amidi Group was a mandatory tenant interview. It did not matter if you had a perfect credit score and strong financials -- if you failed that interview, you were not moving in. That standard protected the community and ensured residents were genuinely committed to maintaining the quality of the building. That process no longer exists. Current residents are now reporting prostitution activity on the sixth floor, with multiple complaints filed and no action taken by management. This is exactly what a rigorous screening process is designed to prevent. Management Is Reactive, Not Proactive Under previous management, every incident report was acknowledged and acted on. Residents received email updates confirming their concern was being addressed, with daily follow-up until resolution. The current management team does none of this. Complaints go unanswered. Incident reports disappear. There is no communication, no accountability, and no follow-through. This is not how a professional property management team operates at any level, let alone a luxury building. Unit Condition at Move-In Was Unacceptable When I moved back in, my furnished unit was not ready for occupancy. I found a pipe stored under the mattress, hair throughout the unit, dirty dishes left from the previous tenant, and a light fixture that flickered constantly. Maintenance came out and the issue was never fixed. I paid out of pocket for a professional deep cleaning just to make the unit livable. That cost should never fall on a resident. Move-in readiness is a basic obligation of property management. Ongoing Safety Hazards Left Unaddressed The entry gate is still not operational, despite management urgently demanding residents get parking stickers. Doors on the fourth floor and in multiple stairwells are being propped open regularly. The elevators do not require key card access, which is a direct security vulnerability given everything happening on this property. Multiple break-ins have been reported with no meaningful response. Prostitution complaints on the sixth floor remain unresolved. This building has a strong foundation and was an excellent place to live under its original management. What it has become under current ownership is a reflection of what happens when professional standards are abandoned. Until Esseks demonstrates real, consistent, and accountable change, I cannot recommend this property to anyone at this time. read more

I deducted points because of a weird interaction with a lady who worked for the property. I went up to her and ask if knew who was the event host, instead of just telling me she didn't know- she responded " I assumed they are Asian but you guys look the same to me..." I was dumbfounded and the other staff just remained silent. Maybe it was just her trying to tell a poorly developed joke. Rest of the staff were friendly. Best rooftop venue for downtown LA to host event. Was here for a professional event on the weekend. The location was very centralized to downtown. The outside of the street was clean and it was uphill so... There is valet parking. If you waiting you can enjoy the beautiful lobby with FREE massage chairs. I almost fell asleep, it was so comfy. The roof deck has great size for hosting large events. There were over 500 guest with plenty of space to break out for discussion and activities. They also have private room for meeting. Swimming was fantastic. There are grilling stations. The restroom was spotless. read more

I've been living at the 1010 for the last three months, and while I was initially very excited to move in, my experience has been far from ideal. On the surface, the building looks sleek and new, but after settling in, I've noticed several issues that have dampened my enthusiasm. Application Process: The leasing process was unnecessarily strenuous, with promises made that weren't kept. For example, I was promised parking during the application phase, but when it came time to sign the lease, the owner reneged on that promise. That was a red flag about the type of management I'd be dealing with--they don't seem to stand by their word. Rules and Inconsistencies: The building enforces an overwhelming number of rules, yet certain residents seem to get away with doing whatever they want. The environment feels more like a hotel than a proper apartment building, and there's a lack of accountability across the board. Apartment and Maintenance Issues: * The TVs in the units are extremely outdated, with captions permanently stuck on the screen. * Electrical issues are frequent--lights flicker constantly, which is both annoying and concerning. * Maintenance requests often take days, if not longer, to be addressed. * When I moved in, the apartment was far from clean. Light fixtures, switches, and other areas were dirty enough that I had to hire a professional cleaner. Valet and Security: Valet services are poorly managed, with staff frequently absent, leaving keys vulnerable to anyone who might grab them. Security is just as uncoordinated, which is troubling considering the premium they charge for living here. Cleaning Services: The overall cleanliness of the common areas is good. On the positive side, I do like my apartment itself--it's spacious and has potential. However, the parking problem makes it hard to feel like I'm getting what I'm paying for. It's downtown.. parking sucks. If you're considering living here, be prepared for a lot of headaches. Moved in and the unit was disgusting. I ended up leaving earlier than the 4 weeks I was supposed to stay. Despite sending pictures of the unclean unit nothing was done to accommodate. I won a two night stay and was notified to contact Amir through email. I sent an email and there was no response. Sent a follow up email and no response. I decided to call and was told I either need to come in person to possibly catch Amir by chance to book my stay or send an email. I was also directed to Adriana several times but she was always on a lunch break whenever I called. I finally got a response from Amir to select a date for my stay and I did not get a response with many more follow up emails. Anthony was finally able to help me however I spoke with him in the beginning of this whole situation which made me believe that ANYBODY could have helped me but nobody wanted to. After checking in, I walked back to my car to grab my belongings and to inform security+parking tenant that I was going to stay for two nights. It was going to be $10 per night so I told him he could charge me $20. He informed me that he could only charge me per night and would have to come back tomorrow to pay for the next night. After payment, i waited for him to give me the ticket to put on my car and he said he would take care of it. The next night, I came down to my car to grab my jacket and the parking tenant told me he was going to call a tow truck because I did not have a ticket. I told him the situation and he kept repeating, "ARE YOU SURE YOU PAID, YOU WOULD HAVE A TICKET, YOU HAVE TO PUT ON YOUR CAR". I told him i had the receipt from payment in my room and I would show it to him and he said I could go grab it but he can't promise my car will be there. I cannot believe how terrible the communication I had with everyone associated with TENTEN. I had been planning for my stay for a month and it was so frustrating not to get anything back. I couldn't finalize my plans because of it. I finally come for a restful weekend to come find out that they wanted to tow my truck because nobody communicated with one another! I have worked in hospitality, management, and customer service more than half my life and never seen or experienced such disrespect like this from beginning to end over a one month period! read more

One unusual thing compared to other properties I visited is the required interview with the operation and general managers. With full disclosure, I suppose the meeting did not go well since we did not get approved for the apartment for asking too many questions about the guest policy. I am a bit confused about how asking about rules and policies can be construed as a "red flag." Does the building have security? How secure is the building (e.g., how likely can someone from the street walk-in)? Can I host a birthday party in October? When I was told the guest limit to the units is 4 or 5 people at any one time, I had questions. If my family visited, do I need to ask permission if there are six people? I know that month-to-month is more profitable than those who sign leases. I would have done the 12-month lease, but maybe that is not what they were looking for in a tenant. I was told there were a lot of traveling nurses and doctors, and I figured there were probably a lot of people whose professions can sustain temporary stays in Los Angeles. Also at the time, I was told they were about 80% occupied and have been very selective of who gets to move in. I wonder what was their criteria? I was sad and disappointed when I did not get the apartment. I looked at many apartments in DTLA and Ktown. TenTen Wilshire and their other location across the street have a lot of amenities that would have been lovely. The apartment comes fully furnished and ready to live in for a temporary period of time. I dodged a bullet since it seems a bit shady to have been rejected for asking about guest policies. read more

My tour guide Milton was amazingly patient and welcoming! The apartments were lovely, the views were amazing I knew no matter what I choose I couldn't go wrong. I had an interview with the manager, which I thought was great because sometimes you get these property manager who couldn't care less about the building they only want cash, but it seems they want to make sure they know their tenants intimately. My apartment was just as I seen it during the tour and all the I expected. I was bewildered when approx two weeks in when My apartment started leaking. I was confused and alarmed. Maintenance came a few hours later, moved me to another apartment with an even better view and couple extra sq. feet. I have been here for 6 more months and haven't had any more emergency. Renting can be very unpredictable go with a company who owns there building and personally takes care of their tenants. read more

Our final production location & the TenTen did not disappoint. From the rooftop to the helipad, this building could not be a better place to film our finale & host the surprised super star celebrity judge. The only thing that was a hinder with being cognizant that this is a residential building, was the set of stairs to get to the rooftop, especially if you are not coming from Penthouses/15th floor. Once on the rooftop there's a full size l-shape bar, TV's, pool table, BBQ grills, fire-pit, numerous patio tables/chairs, pool/whirlpool, & spa restrooms. There's a separate entertainment room with leather reclining chairs, huge flat screen TV & game consoles. I had the pleasure of staging the penthouse for our celebrity judge & I could see myself living here as a resident, just without the rent that starts at $4K a month. The PH was furnished with top of the line furniture, appliances, linen, cookware, serving dishes/utensils & of course an almost panoramic view of downtown LA & Wilshire Boulevard. Neha was our point of contact & she was simply great in delegating & making sure everything ran smoothly. She was so FAB that I contributed pizzas from our late night crew meal to their weekly Happy Hour they host for their residents. From the security, parking & concierge employees, they worked well as a team in contributing support to our crew in making our our final day of shooting an easy wrap. read more

I procrastinated writing this review because I didn't want to even believe it myself. But I must put them on blast for their discrimination! I am a travel nurse and I was looking for a nice short term furnished apartment in the area. My recruiter recommended Ten Ten Wilshire because a few of the other travel nurses have stayed here and liked it. The first red flag was when I called to ask for application, they took all my information and said they would email the application over to me. That was on a Tuesday. Nothing came, so I called back on Wednesday, gave them my information again and another email just in case the first one for some reason didn't go through. Again nothing came, I called again, the third day in a row I was able to talk to Sunny, a leasing agent. She asked for my name, and was able to read back to me my correct information based on my name before I even told her. So all my information was correct in their system yet I still hadn't received an application to apply. She then sent me the application via email and I filled it out and returned it to her the same day. Per Sunny, the protocol is after an application was reviewed the new resident would then have to interview with the general manager and the operations manager via FaceTime. Kind of odd to me, but I obliged. The following week I received a call from Sunny saying that they were ready to interview me. I spoke to both the general manager, who asked me a few questions about my income and rental history. And the operations manager, who just gave me the rules, regulations, and expectations for the residents/building. I thought both "interviews" went well. I don't hear anything from them for 5 days, so I call Sunny to see if a decision has been made. She tells me "unfortunately they won't be able to offer me a apartment at this time." I asked her what is the reason and she said that it was not her decision that it was up to the general manager or operations manager who decided I can't live there. She told me she would talk to them and call me back with an explanation. I don't hear from her for a week so I called her back, and VERBATIM she says that "they don't think you fit "the culture" of the building". For what it's worth, my credit is 812, I OWN my home, and I'll be making ~5k/week on this contract. So my next conclusion would be they don't want any black people to live in their building and honestly shame on them for that. I am disgusted that in 2022, I would still be experiencing discrimination! ESPECIALLY by people who are immigrants and know the struggle of racism, prejudice and discrimination first hand. Stayed here for a weekend gateway with my friend. This is not your average hotel, they rent out half the apartments as Airbnb rentals and lease the other half. The apartment building is located in dtla making it a great spot to stay if you want to be close to all the action. I use the roof top pool and it has an amazing sunset view. The furniture is very cheap though, I was wearing shorts and my thighs stained black from the cheap plastic leather chairs in the apartment. The walls are also extremely thin and we were able to hear anyone passing in the hall way or next door. The apartment does come with a full kitchen and utensils to use and is very easy to cook in. They do not provide dish soap or towels for the kitchen though. I don't think I would personally stay here again though, for the price range you can probably find something a little bit more high end read more

Sink constantly flooding with black sewage from upstairs (3 times now). Negligence in the upper management; allowing an ex-roommate continue to have access to the mail key and apartment despite moving out months ago. Water filter in fridge has been blinking for weeks to be changed and is undrinkable. I have begged them to change out the filter and once they did the water tasted worse, like sewage. I have asked for them to take a look and change it again, but nothing has happened. The leasing agent, Milton, has not communicated with me on any questions I've had for 4 months now and the property manager, Amir, has tried to assist me the best way possible, but has yet to make any actual changes. I've even offered to leave the apartment due to being miserable and no one has given me the time of day. Coming back home from a late night at work to my kitchen lights being on and a stack of long overdue mail on my counter is such an unnerving feeling. (This has happened multiple times now) I don't think it's asking much to have drinkable water and to not have an ex-roommate who comes in and out of my apartment without notice and hold hostage of a mail key when I have important mail coming in! I just want to get out of here with my sanity and security deposit. read more

Had an 11:30am appointment to tour the building. Adriana Robles is extremely rude and unprofessional. She kept me waiting for 30mins. She showed me a unit that looked like a used hotel room, stating the tenants just moved. She quoted prices which were totally different from the prices and availability I seen online. She said all the apartments come furnished which is a lie. The couches were extremely dirty I would want to bring my own furniture she said it would still be the same price. She didn't offer to show any other units. The experience was horrible and a complete waste of time. The building looks like a ran down hotel with holes and stains on the walls. She quoted me $3400 for a 1 bedroom, when I was quoted $2800 over the phone what a joke! It's always funny when a low budget employee tries to over charge on smthg they couldn't even afford. read more

Reeks of weed. I lived here for six months. Fifth floor. Never once, upon my exiting the elevator, and making my way to my unit, did it NOT smell of cannabis being smoked. This was particularly surprising given the fact that the owners had taken pains to interview me specifically about not smoking anywhere on the property. Which I did not. Also be careful about hidden charges upon moveout. I was charged almost $600, even though I left the place "broom-clean", as one would in a typical departure, much less in a hotel like setting. Also, the elevator to the gym on the roof was broken nearly the entire time of my six-month stay. Be wary of this place. read more

I can not begin to explain how disappointing it is to live here. With one of the most expensive rents in Los Angeles, you'd think that it wouldn't be so hard to just clean the building. first off, all you smell is weed smoke and dog poop and pee on the carpets. The elevators and common area hallways are filthy. There is sewage leaking from the sealing and filling up the panels until they get heavy enough to drop. I looked forward to living here for quite awhile, and it looks amazing -- especially with the deal they'll promise you -- but its not worth it. The hot tub water is nasty, the sauna and steam room are never cleaned, and no one even bothers to pickup after themselves in the gym. The rooftop looks good occasionally, but it's not what you expect -- go live at the atelier or any one of the other buildings in the same price range. they promise happy hour for 5 days a week, and it has happened SIX times in the 6 months i've lived here. They lie about cleanliness and amenities and they have no concern about living up to their promises. Kevin in the leasing office is probably one of the best agents; but don't take that as consolation considering the building can't live up to their leasing agent's promises. I am moving out because the building is so below par. Live anywhere else besides here. Fake luxury. They even admit to all their lies and even the leasing agents and staff are unhappy with what the owners are doing to save money so they can spend it building other buildings. Bring this up to them, everything I asked, and they'll probably have to admit to you all of the lack of maintenance, faulty sewage and plumbing system and that they have no happy hour that they'll promise you. P.S. there are a ton of drug dealers, degenerates and pill addicts in this building EDIT: as you can see, Neha, from their staff has responded and i'm sure she operates her role with the best of intentions; but to respond in a blind manner and to not correct their false promises or compensate for the changes that upper management (building manager and owner) have changed after agreeing to move here (i.e. NO HAPPY HOUR THAT WAS PROMISED FIVE (5) DAYS A WEEK, cracks and leaking inside apartment and out in the hallways [from a sewage soaked piece of roofing tile that fell on me] and gum, pee and feces in the elevator) Please, seriously consider other places -- and if they try to give you a deal realize that its not worth the discount and that you can live much better else where without the daily things occurring. I was walking home tonight and a homeless person was following me. I knocked on the door the the new 1010 building to get the security persons attention, asking for help and he refused to help me. I repeatedly said sir please help me I am scared but he still refused to help me. Not only as a security personal, but as a human, I can not fathom refusing to help a woman who told you she is being followed and she is scared. Absolutely despicable. As a tenant all I can say is don't live here! The fire alarm goes off 1 to 3 times a week (sometimes a day) even though there is no fire. Most of the time it's really late at night. I feel so bad for the fire department having to come out here every time. The "wooden" flooring is done so bad. The pavement underneath is so uneven so the wooden flooring doesn't lay right. The security is so horrible. They don't check if you live here or not. Literally anybody can go in the building at anytime. The bathrooms always smell like sewage. There are rats! You can hear them in the walls and see them in the garage. There is random furniture & working appliances in the underground garage. Cars in the garage get vandalized. So that just proves security isn't good here. The tiles on the roof top are so wobbly. Also the grills have fire alarms but one looks like to be pulled out and the wires are exposed, which doesn't seem to safe. I had sent emails about issues on my apartment & no one contacts you back or until DAYS LATER! I wouldn't say these apartments are considered "luxury". Management is just horrible! They are so rude. You would think they would be nice to tenants. Even the managers are just as rude! Oh also if you lose your key card (like a hotel) they charge you for a new one even though the doors has number codes that you can't even utilize. The doors are painted so bad! The paint job is so patchy. I believe this building was open too soon and too fast. You can tell so much stuff is still undone to the "new" shitty building. I regret staying here! For the price of renting it's not worth it. You can get a better apartment for the same price couple of blocks away. The people that own the building will scam you out of your money and do things illegally. Save yourself the trouble! This place is all bad vibes. read more

I love living In Ten Ten. What I love the most was that Events. There was yoga, pool party, every Wednesday happy hour. It was always something new and inclusive and diverse. The negative is the building is falling apart. For over $3000 a month you expect luxury. The water had no pressure sometimes. The tile was cracked. The dishwasher leaked. The furniture is older and leather. The rugs are outdated. They are building a brand new building across the street that I am sure will be new pretty and up-to-date. I only stayed here for three months. If I needed to stay longer I think I would be less happy than I was with my experience. Staff: The valley staff was by far the highlight of our experience. The staff was cool Most of the time. There was a pretty large African-American gentleman that work the front desk that was absolutely phenomenal. I apologize I do not know his name. I had a very bad experience with a front desk agent late at night. I had an emergency with my room And with two children I wanted to make sure it was a safe place for Dale. The front desk person told me that maintenance left one minute ago and there was nothing he could do. He refused to call the on-call person unless the building was on fire. This is his exact words. I was livid. The on boarding process was nice. We have to do two interviews with the leaders of the building. Which I did not mind because it made me feel like the tenants in the building was screened. However once we move in and have a few issues, Those same leaders never responded back to emails. That was disappointing. You get a property manager that stays with you throughout your entire stay. Ours was Andrea. Well we needed her she assisted. I believe I expected them to be more involved in how we were liking the property. With all of that I still recommend the apartments for anyone who is looking to live downtown. Where is a Starbucks on the corner. I'll supermarket two blocks away. I café in the bottom of the building. But you have to go outside to enter it. I was told you can walk through the building but I never found it. The other amazing part of living here is the complementary work meeting space. I had a Virtual interview and they were so quick to get me into a conference room. The problem is that I did not have the Internet called and had to have the interview in the middle of the street downtown LA which was a disaster. But the apartment did their part. And I got the job. Next to the Hollywood Center Studios and on the west borders of downtown Los Angeles, I attended the tour and opening reception party on the rooftop complete with a pool and terrific views. Admittedly, I am slightly swayed by the grand treatment we received, including a red carpet, sushi, short ribs, a chocolate table, dancing, great bar, photographers, hookah, foot and shoulder massages, pretty young ladies serving and directing the crowd, along with a swag bag upon exit. TenTen is great in the units however it's not so pleasant on other parts of the property. I've been staying here and there are things I wish the managers took more pride in fixing things, such as rooftop steam room smelling extremely funky inside (smells like the water hasn't been generating clean water in ages). The first 2 times I tried going inside I couldn't stay in longer than 2 minutes because my face starts to feel itchy which isn't normal. Then the women's bathroom sauna and steam room doesn't work WHAT SO EVER, which is weird because moving in I was told it worked, but it hasn't worked in a LONG time. Managers and staff always say it's getting fix WHICH ISN'T TRUE, it hasn't worked in months. Let's not forget the stinky elevators that smell like dog, or hallways that smell like dog pee and have big pee stains everywhere. Wish management made these changes and didn't take tenants request more serious. read more

I've only had good experiences in this building, here a few things that stand out to me: 1) Valet Parking - love the attendants, super nice & always efficient 2) Westopher's Exercise class - I'm in the best shape of my life thanks to Westopher & the training classes offered here at 1010, he is the best trainer I've ever had & I just love him 3) Rooftop - the rooftop is a beautiful escape in the middle of the city 4) Events - the happy hours & events are the best for a lazy person who wants to be sociable but is lazy to leave the comfort of their own home Bottomline: I love our 2 bedroom apt facing the Staples Center, I love walking everywhere in DTLA & I think the service is great in this building. read more

I stayed at Tenten Wilshire for a few nights in June. The check in process was a bit long. The lady at the front desk said she didn't know where our key was and had to wait for someone to find it. We ended up waiting about 15-20 min in the lobby. Which was not terrible. They had water, tea, a fancy coffee machine, AC and the decor was modern but comfortable. The location was great because there was a lot of stuff within walking distance. There's a great Thai restaurant, and brazilian coffee house practically next door. Then Fig&7th shopping center was about a 5 min walk. Convention center was a bit longer but not bad, about 15-20 min each way. You really don't need a car if you're staying here, unless you're going any further than that. It would just be a hassle more than a convenience. This hotel/apts is super nice and has a lot of amenities. They have valet parking, a kinda hidden playroom downstairs at the parking level. If you go to the left instead of right when you exit the elevator you will see "plug and play", just use your key to enter. There's a pool table, foosball, comfy recliners, vending machines and most importantly the only other coffee machine in the building. There was maid service but not daily. It was pretty random. Some days they'd come but not others. I didn't stay long enough to figure it out. There's a rooftop pool with amazing views, bbq's, jacuzzi, fitness center, steam room, dry sauna, and a massage room. To get to the roof, you take the main elevator to the 14th floor then go around the corner to the right, down the hall and take another little shitty elevator to the roof. It took me a couple days to find it. I think you're supposed to bring your own towel for the pool though. I went a few times and it was so hot I didn't need one but I looked around and never found towels on the roof. I expected to see a stack of clean towels and a basket for dirty ones, like most places. Now for the room itself: We stayed in 1113. It was beautifully decorated and had everything I could possibly need for the next 5 days. It had a full kitchen with a full size fridge and dishes. I had no plans to cook, with all the food nearby, but it was nice to have the option. The room had a very comfy bed, a rotating tv that can be facing towards the bed side or the living room side. Living room had a nice leather couch, a chair and coffee table. The only thing I disliked about room 1113 at Tenten was the window covering. When you have windows that big (floor to ceiling all the way across back wall of the room) you really need to cover the light better. Especially where people will be sleeping. It seemed to make more sense to put the bed on the other side of the huge standing closet/tv thing. It made the living room area relatively dark, whereas the sleeping area right beside the windows was way too bright for me. I need complete darkness for a good night's sleep. They had these completely see through "shades". This had me waking up every morning at 7 am while on vacation. I was miserable a lot mornings because of that. I would have to get up super early, have breakfast then come back to the room and try to go back to sleep until 11 or 12. It screwed up my entire mornings. And kept me from staying up late and partying because I knew I'd have to get up at 7am the next day. Luckily, being on vacation, I didn't have a lot of obligations but it would've been nice to have the option to sleep in. This is why I removed a star. I'd remove 1.5 if I could but I'll let it slide this time. I mean, honestly, It's like $50 for some black out drapes that would look really nice in there. This place is not cheap (the rates or the decor), so it doesn't seem unreasonable. Edit: updating my review. The staff contacted me to profusely apologize for the actions of the valet, and have assured me that disciplinary action has been taken. Aside from this valet experience, our stay was great. The room was spacious and well-appointed for longer stays, it had a great view, and the rooftop amenities were great. A pool, sauna, gym, pool table and many cozy places to hang out. They even have a free happy hour in the evening for residents. It's not exactly a hotel, so your expectations should be more in line with a long term, furnished lease situation, however the amenities are honestly so much better than places like that that it feels disingenuous to group them in with those establishments. The entire ground area on the street side around this building smells like dog poop and human urin. I walk by it everyday in the morning on Wilshire to get to work and geez it's getting worse. Unless the building invests in improving its street condition, I can't recommend anyone in good faith to stay here, just due to the fact that every time you leave the building, you'll be greeted with the horrendous stench of waste matter. Seems like it's a main route for many individuals to walk their dogs who also never pick up the poop, because I always see the smudges of it stepped on every morning. My recommendation, don't go anywhere near this building if you want to enjoy your day. read more

Friendly staff that cares about the residents' experience, from the pool cleaners and valet parking attendants to the managers. They have a local daytime shuttle /drop off service and it was after hours but one of the managers offered to take us, which really was above and beyond and very unexpected. The pools are always clean, along with the rooftops and common spaces. read more

I feel nauseous...the dishwasher comes on at random...there's faulty electricity...my tub is still leaking...All just a big front-- They keep people distracted with all of their events. I have been living here since the past 2.5 years and the management and staff here are outstanding. To me personally they're like family. Our relationship manager Milton and other members from the leasing office who we worked closely with have been amazing. The receptionist Adriana is so welcoming and always greets with a smile. Special mention to the housekeeping staff Juanita maricela Carmen.. , they have been such a family to me through all my life events since I came here.. the maintenance staff is spot on with Paco who helped us the most being one of the highly skilled and always knew how to fix things. Amir leads the housekeeping and maintenance teams and has always been accommodating with all my requests. The fact that most of the staff here have been working for over a decade and all are in-house speaks volumes of the commitment and dedication they all carry towards each other to make this a better place to live in. The valet staff is amazing .. we left our valuables in the car mistakenly a lot of times and never did we lose anything. Security is something that distinguishes this place from other DTLA apartments. They have security patrol(3-4 people at any given hour) cc cameras installed at all corners , security round the clock at all entrances and visitors are allowed only after residents confirm to the security guard on duty. A much needed service especially given DTLA's safety scene. All units have large glass windows that provide good to awesome views depending on the unit. The rooftop provides some of the best views of LA. The rent is on the expensive side and you get furniture, utilities, internet and valet parking included in the rent. amenities (pool, gym, steam room/sauna, barbecue grill and game room) are well maintained given that their housekeeping and maintenance staff are all in house. The rent is on the higher side compared to other apartments in DTLA, but no second thoughts, If you can afford this place. read more

Stayed here for a weekend of crazy festivities going on. The check in was seamless, the apartment was spacious, views were great! The valet in and out was quick -the guys were nice and efficient and there was the ease of on and off the fwy with no traffic involved-Great location! The pool was relaxing and got good sun. I lived here short term, for about 4 months. Let's start from the top of the building down. First and foremost, the rooftop is hands down the best in DTLA. The gym could be a bit bigger and have additional free weights. The pool is a good size but additional pool chairs would help. The views...breathtaking. Also, if you are a tenant, you get free happy hour M-F, from 6-9. Tecate/Bud Light and 2 Buck Chuck til you can't drink no more. Also, they frequently have events. Tenants do get free access to most events held so long as your RSVP. Moving down the building to your apartment. Appliances are stainless steel. I personally had constant problems with the ice maker. I'd give the apartment itself a 3...mostly due to value. I have lived in several buildings downtown and have felt better quality in the apartment in other buildings. For example, The Pegasus has REALLY nice hardwood floors whereas 1010 has cheaper wood that was already scratched to hell when I moved in. Many of your neighbors will be short term tenants so your experience with them will vary. While I was there the tenants were great and had a blast meeting and drinking with them during the HH. Robert, the head of security, and the maintenance guys all are extremely friendly and great at their jobs. The girls that work the front are helpful. However, the actual leasing agents will provide you with no help unless you go in and actually looks at the apartments. These apartments are on the expensive side but I think it is to cater to a certain type of crowd. If they didn't have the rooftop that they do or you don't plan on utilizing this feature then I would select another building. If you are in this price range, I'd probably go with the Water Mark over this building as their amenities are FAR superior, the building is nicer and has 35 floors so you can potentially have a much better view . If you are looking for something that is just a bit cheaper but just about as nice with great rooftop scenes then I'd also consider The Roosevelt and The Pegasus. These two come in at about half the cost. In short, apartment itself is a 3 based on value and quality. The rooftop and staff bump it up to a 4. read more

First of all I couldn't have written a better review than the only other one at 1 star- Management- If your flat mate threatens to kill you there is little to nothing the management will do, they don't care that your internet never works or that the maids steal your towels and you get billed for them at the end of the month, or that your fridge is leaking water all over the wood floor, or that the spa is cold or that the Valet conveniently takes your car on joy rides/ scratches every place you would think to look for a scratch or that there is trash lingering in your hallway on the floor after a rowdy friday night or that there are no walls and the only way to not hear others in your apartment is to pay $150 for plexiglass walls or.... I could go on forever. Their accounting department is not filled with deluded morons but complete schisters. They don't keep track of your rent coming in, or for maid service, printing etc. For all you know a homeless person could walk in and tell them to send maids to apt #xyz and you will have maid service billed to that month. Security...? What security. The guys are so friendly you could start a conversation with them and then just waltz up to your apartment. The internet NEVER worked, the only reason they didn't hear me bitch was because i had a verizon internet card. The dryer was some type of bullshit euro dryer which took approximately 5 hours to dry a medium load of whites. Furniture is a joke, it is borderline Ikea imported from somewhere else. Security deposit- say goodbye to that up front. They fail at doing a proper walk through and then getting your check before 21 days of move out is beyond impossible. I think they think that if they wait long enough people forget because as it was best described in a previous review, the building consists of drug dealers. There is no consistency with anything, the girls that shows apartments might be pretty but they not only cannot help you, but half the time have no idea how to help you with your apartment problems. The staff is dishonest and this place is a joke. You'd be better off paying more to live somewhere that wouldn't make your life a living pain. read more

Just moved in. It's a bit like living in a hotel--its nice, but very corporate. The place is very clean. Staff is nice. Rooms are furnished right down to the forks and the TV in the bathroom. Roof top has a small pool and gym, and serves beer and wine most nights. The high rent keeps the kids away, so the place is pretty quiet. Windows are triple pane so even though you are near the 110, I hear nothing. And the view of downtown at night is really spectacular. There is no real neighborhood. But you can walk to Takami or Bodegga. 24hr valet with secure on site parking. If you want to live downtown and have a nice car, I think this is the place for you. Only real issue I have is that there is no storage, either in the units or on-site. Luckily there is a self storage place just down the street. About that bait and switch review. I experienced something like that too. I did get a different price on the phone than when I showed up.
