Don't go there!!! Rude, poor communication, ruined my clothes and took zero responsibility, told me it was my fault, yelled at me for 45 minutes, threw my clothes to the floor and garbage when I tried to complain, ripped my clothes from my hands, told me to call the police, refused to fix their mistakes and blamed me for their mistakes. They ruined my clothes by washing whites together with blacks. They claim they are experts, but they have ruined my brand new expensive dress, turning it into blue. The dress has white spots on it, yellow spots, but it is generally blue now. I also gave them a brand new towel, and received it all in colored stripes! When I was giving them the dress, I specifically said It is expensive, and asked if wash and fold is fine of if I should put it in dry-cleaning. The sticker, however, said that delicate wash is okay, so I specifically asked to be careful and do the delicate wash. They said okay and put it together with black clothes! The greatest things happened when I came to show them what happened with the dress and the towel. They were extremely rude. They yelled at me for 45 minutes, they lied, they said I had the dress like this, they said the towel was like this because it is my hair dye (the towel was straight from the store). They said I should complain to the dress designer why my dress is turning blue! Then they said it is all my fault because I didn't tell them I needed my clothes to be washed separately, so they put all of them all together (when I came, I specifically took all my clothes out, showed the dress, asked if wash and fold is okay, showed them the sticker, put all the colored clothes separately. No one told me about 2 dollars extra for separation - I assumed it is common sense you don't wash black and colors with white, especially when I specifically pointed out the dress and asked what is the best way to get it done). They said I didn't pay 2 dollars so it is on me now. They were yelling the entire time, they told me to call the police, told me they are about to close, told me to not ever come back. Then the owner took my clothes and threw it to the floor and the garbage bin!! Then the lady tore my dry cleaning clothes out of my hands abruptly and started to take them away - I was thinking she was going to cut them with scissors. All of this instead of trying to fix the dress, which is what I was asking for. I was shocked by their rudeness, lack of responsibility, poor communication, yelling, telling me it was my fault. I am very upset for the ruined dress. Don't go there! Great service. The lady always remembers me and is happy to see me. A full laundry bag with rush service costs me about $12.95 usually (about 10lbs) and it's all washed, folded, and neatly packed back in my bag by the time I get home from work. I disagree that it's "$$$$" Ultra High-End, though...I mean, what do you expect when you can drop stuff off and get it back same day -- dry cleaning and wash & fold? Maybe I'm still new to New York and enamored by the fact that I don't have to wash and fold my own laundry anymore, haha. Ever since I found this place, it has been the only dry cleaner I will use. Before this place... I had a bad experience with another UES dry cleaner. But with Ming Cleaners, I've only had good experiences. The prices are fairly reasonable, but the main attraction is that the dry cleaning is always on time and they have never lost anything of mine... Knock on wood! I think this place may be owned by the Asian couple who I see every time I stop by. They're very nice and professional. They work hard and do good work. read more

This was the only laundry service I used when I lived on the UES. The staff were great and prices for laundry and dry cleaning were reasonable. I was so afraid of losing clothes when I started sending my laundry out, but they never lost or damaged anything. And same day service was so nice to have. read more

Ming is the worst dry cleaning place. I am so disappointed, they LOST my JCREW shirt that I paid $120 for. After delaying the delivery two weeks, they said they lost my shirt and will give me $ 40 store credit. Who cares about $40 store credit if they will loose my nice clothes that cost a lot more than that. You should NOT trust Ming ! This business is fantastic. I have used them for over a year now. The woman is very friendly and super nice who works there. They always do a great job with all of my cleaning and alterations, they have never or damaged anything a huge plus for me. Yes, I agree the prices are a little steep, but this is Manhattan, and we have to expect that. I actually find them to be extremely reasonable.The delivery service is usually reliable; sometimes they cannot deliver early in the morning as their delivery person is not in yet. I've been using johns exclusively since I moved to the city and they have taken great care of my things. Always very punctual and same day turnaround time is most always a possibility. They have detergent that they can use but giving them your own scent and whatnot is not problems at all. read more

The lady is very nice, but they often do not get the clothes to you at the promised time and if you want your clothes picked up or delivered very early there is often no one there to do so. Otherwise, they have never lost or damaged my clothes. read more

Bad customer service and poor communication. I tried them a few times and always had issues with delivery. It is ridiculous that they feel entitled to be rude when there are another 5 dry cleaners in the same neighborhood. Don't bother going there. read more
