Tried their service in March 2018. Don't recommend this place. Here's why: - Some of the clothes did not look like they were washed at all..I could still see dirt and stains when I opened the bag. - When I called for pickup, I asked for cost and realized that it cost me more $$ than the lbs mentioned for my laundry (considering its fixed price up to 8lbs, then its little under a $1/each lb). I think they added few bucks extra to cover a fee (or tip) w/o checking with me first. read more

I just moved in across the street I first used another cleaner across the street, I was amazed How expensive it was, I came to Andy & Rich and they were 2/3's cheaper and a much better job - they are super nice and can accommodate free delivery when my schedule needs it - if your a 10075 resident I highly recommend Andy & Rich !!! read more

Chris J. stumbles into Andy & Rich Cleaners.] *Please note, the employee about to be mentioned, is a skinny man, with terrible teeth. A chin strap that would make DMX envious, baggy pants, and a Yankees fitted cap. It made me conjure up images of Ali G., so while reading his dialog please do so in the Ali G. voice. His word choice was equally as awkward, as he was of Middle Eastern descent. What follows are excerpts from our business transaction: Chris J.: How much to launder this filth? Employee: 70 cents per pound. Chris J.: Done! Employee: Monday or Tuesday? Chris J.: I don't care, I just want the clothes clean. Let's make it Tuesday. Three days lapse, August 19, 2008: [Chris J. stops in Andy & Rich Cleaners to pick up his laundry.] I go to reach for my receipt, because they do quite a lot of laundry, but the guy sees my face and starts digging for my neatly folded, and bagged garbs. Chris J.: How much do I owe you? Employee: 25 lbs, so it came out to $19.85. Chris J.: Wow, you guys are unbelievable. I can't beat that. Employee: I'm da cheapest around. Chris J.: (thinks to himself absofuckinglutely the cheapest around, the test will be to see which garments magically disappeared.) Thanks, bro (yeah I use the term to indicate a more familial relationship - and because I try to be the anti-finance tight ass). I'll see you in a couple weeks. [Smiling, for the first time in a long time Chris J. feels like he hasn't been f*cked, but rather gently coddled and made love to.] Hypothesis: something is wrong with my clothes to have gotten off so cheaply. Possible conclusions without testing and using the scientific method: my clothes were washed in urine (but they have yet to smell as if they were), I'm missing half of the clothes I gave them (that doesn't appear the be so), there is a giant bleach stain on many of my clothes (first glance indicates this isn't the case), lastly they substituted ass-less chaps for my crap stained underwear (no chaps, but still have all my crap laden undies). This is long, but I really wanted to explain the 3 stars... I found this on yelp and thought: why don't I always get my laundry picked up and delivered?!?!? How convenient and amazing!!! After wasting 5 minutes picturing the ever-so-familiar image of myself, struggling, sweating, dragging my bag of laundry down the street to the local dry cleaners - I quickly picked up the phone and dialed. I was pleased (and surprised) when the friendly receptionist said they were available to pick it up in the next 20 minutes. Exactly 20 minutes later, at 2pm, the delivery man arrived. I (greedily) asked if the laundry could be brought back that night and he told me no, it was too late, the earliest he could do was 1:15-1:30pm the following day. (They give you a 15 minute window for pick-up and delivery) I called back later that night and asked if there was any way they could delivery in the morning instead, and the lady said yes - she would call me at 9am to confirm. I went to bed happy with the service By 9:30am I didn't receive a phone call and needed to get on with my day. I called Andy Rich and the receptionist told me the delivery would come between 10:15 & 10:30. I was a little annoyed and wondered - if I hadn't have called, would they have forgotten about me? At exactly 10:15am my laundry arrived and I was charged $16.95. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to tip, and if so, how much (I never got my laundry delivered) - so I just gave him $20. Feeling that the $16.95 charge was a little odd, I weighed the bag on my scale and found it to be less than 16lbs. With 75c/lb (which was verified over the phone) my laundry should have only cost $12.00... I probably should have called and asked first how much it weighed, I guess I am just too trusting! I think from now I on I will just stick to the place on the corner, I thought free pick up and delivery would be better for someone super busy like me but I found it actually to be more inconvenient and I guess... a rip off? read more

I love the fact that I can give them my dry cleaning and they can take my dirty laundry. This place is cheap and good! I like the way they fold my clothes and the guy is always friendly. Just give them a call and they pick up your clothes. However, make sure to call to remind them to drop off your clothes. This place is worth giving a try. read more

If you don't feel like reading a long review with way too much information, here is a condensed version: I had a great experience with Andy and Rich Cleaners. They picked up my laundry from my apartment, washed and folded it, and then dropped it off the following morning. Free pick-up/delivery, and only $.75/lb. So, I work looong lawyerly hours, and have no time to do my laundry. Well, that is not entirely true- I WOULD have time to do my laundry except that I usually let my laundry build up for weeks, so I certainly do not have time to do the amount of laundry I am usually faced with. Since the teeny one-washer/one-drier combo in the basement of my building won't cut it, I always send my laundry out. I usually use Todd Layne Cleaners, and they are OK, but so so expensive. Since I have been trying to save money for a Chanel (obviously), I have been trying to cut down on unnecessary expenses, so I tried Andy and Rich. The entire transaction was extremely easy and efficient. I called the evening before and told them I wanted to have my laundry picked up the following morning. Before the delivery guy came, he called to make sure I was there. He came, took my laundry, and then dropped it off the following morning. It only cost me $0.75/lb (Todd Layne charges $1.29/lb). There is nothing missing, I did not have to call to remind them to drop it off, and it does not reek of a fragrant detergent. Perfect. read more

Cash only! They claim they take credit cards but their credit card machine never works. Other than that the dry cleaning service is really good , they are really fast fast usually two days max and they haven't messed up my clothes yet ..good sign. $10/dress. read more

These guys are fast but they are a bit rough around the edges. The laundry comes back very flat (towels) and the packaging is very tight. Ive been twice and don't think I'll go back. They charge 2 something plus 75 cents per pound. The first time left a sour taste in my mouth when I brought two bags and they charged me the 2 something twice, even though they could have put one bag into the other and charged the 2 something once. The second time, I only took one bag and it weighed in at 36 lbs (yes, I waited a while lol) but the guy said it was 38. I had to correct him and he seemed reluctant to agree. Literally I took Yelp's Recommendations and gave them a try. $.75 per pound - laundry $$$$ - dry cleaning First of all, delivery guy can only come before 9am, which can be hectic for many people. This is not the end of the story. They will come and pick your clothes up, but they don't have clear idea on if the clothes are man's or woman's. which means they can charge whatever they want them to charge on your dry cleaning. So tip? many sure you tell them exactly which ones are which or, they will charge you so much.. i ended up paying $50 for 3 men shirts, 1 pants, 1 sweater and 2 women shirts. Okay, that's not the main part. All cleaners in nyc will do fine job cleaning and washing. However, here is the kicker. If you call them to ask some questions, you won't believe how terrible they speak English. They CANNOT speak English!! I mean I am not a native speaker, but it was absolutely hard to understand.. only thing they kept mentioning is that they been doing this business for 25 years..... ...dotdotdot.... Well, delivery guy don't come on time (except for the first time). They are not communicable... and mostly they are not friendly on their services... Took 5 days for them to finish... Ugh wish I could've had as good as an experience here as some of these other Yelpers! I've used this place a couple of times and have always had to wait at least 30 minutes for the delivery guy to come pick up my laundry despite being 2 and a half blocks away. I understand that it's probably a hectic job but he's seriously all over the place- this last time I used them I waited literally 3 hours for him to finally come pick up my laundry, having him call me every half hour to say "ten more minutes." I honestly think the only reason why I stuck with them as long as I did was because they're cheap and I kept wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt since all the other reviews are good! I no longer use Andy and Rich because I refuse to wait that long for someone to pick up my friggin laundry but if you could swing it, hey go for it! read more

Fast, friendly and dependable service! They have an impeccable dry cleaning service. I sent a dress in and forgot to tell them about a small spot on the bottom hem. When I got it back it was gone! I spilled red wine on my shirt and you can't even tell there was ever a stain there! I have been taking my clothes to them for 6 year now and I would not use anyone else. This place is a total disaster! They lost my best (tailored) shirt and pants combo and then were extremely rude and vague when I tried to get it back. This is after I received dry cleaning back with filth on it. Don't be fooled by the price, you get what you pay for. With Todd Lane right accross the street why bother? Terrible!!!! I had some of the same issues others did: they are unorganized, they claim to take cards but their machine doesn't actually work, and my clothes came back looking like someone sat on them for a while. I called them out on this, and the owner started yelling at me and mumbling something under his breath about me in another language. This was our first and last time using this place. read more
