The kids loved him and all our guests raved about how funny he was. We hired Ricky for 1.5 hours for our son's first birthday. We celebrated in Athidhi restuarant's banquet hall. There were approximately 20 - 25 kids. Rick did juggling tricks, balloon twisting and some very engaging games with the kids. He was amazing with them, the kids were super engaged the whole time. It took them about 3-4 minutes to warm up to his style and once they did, they did not want the show to end. I had Silly Ricky for my daughter's birthday party about 3 years ago and it was great. His website was simpler but functional. Response time was great. 5 stars Fast forward to present where I wanted to hire him for my son's birthday party. His website is fancy but buggy (things do not display regardless of computer/network used). His availability calendar is non functional because it doesn't display his real availability. He does not respond to text. He responded to 1 of 2 contact me from his webpage indicating he was not available for specify date (although calendar did not say he was busy). Inquiry to another date has not received any response other than the automated "will contact you soon". It's been a week. I originally made a $20 online "secure your booking" but upon making payment I found it doesn't even ask for the date you want to secure. So, now I need to wait for my refund as I went ahead and made alternative plans. Perhaps Silly Ricky is now so popular, he doesn't have time to deal with all this.... so perhaps he should hire more help ... as a parent who just wants to plan a fun party for their child, it is disappointing especially having had such a great experience with him the previous time. read more
