Killed them and headed to the front desk to request a different room. Got that room, which had a leak in the sink that dripped while we tried sleeping. But as this was again late at night, we popped in some earplugs and went to sleep. The best part about it? They offered NOTHING as an apology/refund.

Pool was closed because choline was too strong - then it opened up and my blue shorts changed color to purple and my son got a rash- other than that the pool is nice size and not too cold 3rd floor near 302 and 303 has like 6 people staying in one room and garbage left in hallway between the strong smell of what smelled like weed and fried chicken - our hallway stank!!! Smell came through the doors to our room - really not a fan of weed smell and I love fried chicken but wow how can it smell that strong - lol Cleaning peoples cart was on the floor but they - haven't cleaned room or even told us they don't clean rooms while guests here - I guess COVId really changed things - you would think that they would want it better cleaned then less cleaned. Our room was not serviced the 2nd day and it was too late to have it done so we had asked to have towels brought. We asked in the morning, then again in the afternoon. Each time the lady desk attendant assured us they would be brought- not. Returned from the wedding and again saw no towels. The evening person finally brought the towels - he apologized. The only reason not to give it one star is because of the room size for the price and also the good location.

Yes, the bed and sheets were clean--but that's where the good news ends. There was urine on the bathroom floor, a filthy chair, a badly stained tub, broken security latch, barely-attached smoke detector, and furniture falling apart. (Pics to prove it.)( I did clean bathroom myself) Reported it to Choice Hotels, and despite sending photos, they claimed they couldn't confirm my stay--so they dismissed my complaint. Do better, Choice Hotels. This was unacceptable. #HotelFail #TravelWarning
