Yes this is a chain came up from south, but that being said, it does its magic, it has vast amount of different menus to pick from, I had sweet potato pancakes -with cinnamon butter & pecans, pretty good but sweet potato was extremely subtle...needed more flavor. Came here for breakfast with my boyfriend on Saturday morning. We were seated immediately and our waitress was super sweet. The restaurant is sort of retro with jukeboxes on the tables and it was very clean. I ordered corned beef hash with home fries, he had the lumberjack meal. Delicious food. Great ambiance! The jukebox at the table was such a cute touch. My husband and I both had the banana stuffed French toast and a few eggs . Also breakfast meat. My scrapple was delicious, and the potatoes were good. I also tried the guava mint ginger ale and though I'm sure it's not for everyone, i thought it was amazing. Looking for something good and cheap while in Cherry Hill on Saturday. We had no wait, which is always nice when dining with 2 kids. Food was just ok. Found this little place in the hunt for a good late night place to get food. We were really just looking for anything that late at night, but Silver Diner was definitely a great surprise. Great selection of foods, with an extensive and creative menu, and great service from staff. Shakes were delicious but pretty large, be prepared to come hungry. Silver Diner is one of my and my boyfriend's favourite diners, since the options are so fresh and healthy. Like other reviewers say, it isn't a "typical" diner with a boundless menu, but what they do have is so tasty. The bison burgers are an awesome way to get something classic with a different taste. To start off with the service is always amazing. Very courteous and attentive and fast. But oh the food. They have a ton of local products that they use for their food and the menu changes frequently to reflect this. They have an amazing selection of both vegan and vegetarian items, and they use seasonal ingredients. I've never had a bad meal here. There vegetarian burger and vegetarian chili are the best vegetarian food I've ever had in my entire life and I've been all over the world. The food is just so spot on all around I've had so many things on the menu that I can't even name them. Diner is kind of a misnomer for this place. Sure it looks like a classic diner setup but you won't find anything generic or common. It's over and above all the way around. Definitely stop in if you never have before or if you did before they switched owners many many years ago. read more

Without any Imports from overseas or from South America. We need to revitalize our sources here in the US. A very unique place for a diner. The staff was eager, and very attentive. I like to go to Silver Diner because even though they are not always perfect, they at least try to have different things on the menu. Not many other diners in South Jersey have anything beyond the regular breakfast food, burgers, sandwiches and diner dinner entrees. Here, you have many other creative choices with things like quinoa, buffalo, and fish tacos. They also source locally which I like. Try the fried Brussels sprouts appetizer, it's excellent! I've been here ALOT. There's a great variety of food, great if you're a vegetarian, or going gluten free.
