The three times I have gone in desperation, I have not seen a soul vacuuming, let alone cleaning the machines. They collect the quarters- that is it! They also close the washers (against the instructions), allowing mildew to grow. There is a tremendous amount of dust in the corners, signs are sloppily handwritten-- but my main point is- the washers and dryers are dirty! And they are relying on the heat from the washers to "kill everything," I heard an employee tell a customer who asked about how often they clean things, because she was thinking of brining the laundry from her cleaning business there. I no longer go to this place in desperation- I will take my chances at the laundromat where an alleged death occurred instead!

The washers are in pretty good shape and they have a solid selection of sizes for bigger sized loads. This is the best laundry mat I've seen. It is ridiculously cheap, you can do a full load for 5.50…read morewash and dry on the cheaper options. The machines take card and cash. Laundry Detergent and vending machines remains cash only. You can buy both snacks and detergent at the dollar store location adjacent. My number one recommendation would be a card option for these machines. The time displayed on machines is inaccurate. If it displays 30 minutes remaining it is over 45 minutes. This apply for both washers and dryers. The chairs are intentionally uncomfortable. They are linked together (so you can't sit alone), I would assume to prevent theft. Recently they banned pets. There isn't a restroom or an ATM. don't expect to buy detergent or snacks while you're here if you don't have cash. Most other laundry mats in the area can charge 20-25$ after a wash, dry, detergent and atm fees. I always get out under 15$ here even if I am forced to visit the dollar store to buy detergent. this place is terrible and lacks the most basic of functionalitys but it is still the best laundry mat I've found in Louisville.
