Really disappointed in the way they do not control the crowds, nor do they keep the walkways clear. We reserve a table buy tickets attended last night for Los Rieleros and people were just all over around the tables crowding us spilling their drinks and blocking our view, we got a table so that we did not have to stand but we had too anyway. I am pretty sure that is a safety violation. They need to do better, I am sure they will not miss our about $1000 that we spent on table tickets and drinks, but we will not go there again!!!! Will travel to another venue or city to catch their show. Fire department should be notified for unsafe crowds and many other safety violations!!! read more

This is one of the most distasteful places I have ever visited. Don't get me wrong, the place looks amazing, and has a huge dance floor, but they allow people to smoke and drink while dancing on the floor. I watch drinks spill on the floor and some guy's cigarette gets in some poor lady's hair. When asking the bartender, she states to tell the bouncers or barbacks. When mentioning it to the bouncer, he states there is nothing he can do about it. The DJ said it's allowed and ok. When mentioning it to the management at the front door, they pretend they don't speak English. Drinks are overpriced and the place fills up with smoke. They do have some famous bands, but I cannot get past the smoking and drinking on the dance floor to return. read more

I bought a 4 top table to see Braxton Keith last Saturday. We had an extra person want to join us. I reached out to Stubwire about buying a general admission ticket would they be able to stand by our table. I was told no, so I bought another 4 top table. It wasn't disclosed that we also had to purchase tickets for the show. I spent $135.00 buying the tables then had to buy tickets at the door for another $100.00! Which ended up being higher because I had to buy at the door. We didn't need to reserve tables because they have regular tables you can get without paying the additional fee. I tried to get the manager to talk to me about the situation, but they would not discuss it.. Then the bar is a smoking bar. I didn't know those even existed. Silver Saloon - Bars Near Me - Terrell, Texas

It's been a long time since I have been out to a night-club, but boy was I shocked when I finally went into the Silver Saloon. Wow. The restaurant was beautiful, and the food was delicious. Let me just talk about that for a moment. A friend suggested that I try the ribs, so I did, and goodness they were GREAT. Smoked, perfect sauce, meaty and not too soft. The beans were AMAZING but the fries were average. Service was good, but a smidge slow. No matter, we were having a great time. The doors opened at 8pm, but the party did not really get rocking until around 9:30pm or so. I picked a good night to come, Josh Abbot Band was there and they were expecting a capacity crowd. They allow smoking in here, and I hate that, but for whatever reason it was not an issue at all. Plenty of pool tables, bars and women around. Just an awesome atmosphere. The dance floor is pretty massive, the stage has a good light show and the sound quality is truly crystal clear. Best sound quality I have heard. It got a little too packed for my tastes by 11pm and I wished that there were a place to sit, but maybe that was just me getting old. This place was just nice... thats the one word I would use to sum it up. Nice. 5 stars from me, this is as good as it gets. Had a ton of fun, and the owner shook my hand on the way out and thanked me for coming. Thats what I call Texas hospitality! read more

Note that this review is based only on a kind of one-off experience involving a launch party for the new KISS pinball machine and associated activities. This was during the day on a Sunday, with a fairly light crowd, so take that into account. The parking lot is large and accommodating, so you shouldn't have worries there. Moving inside, it's very spacious, with several active bars, dining areas, recreation (primarily pool tables) and of course, the fairly good sized stage. We didn't do much in the way of alcoholic drinks, but I will warn that even water will set you back a couple of bucks from the bar. I suppose that's to be expected in an environment such as this. Still, the service was friendly. We had lunch there as well; I had a BBQ brisket stuffed baked potato, and it was quite good. It wasn't one of those huge mutant potatoes that looks like a miniature watermelon, but it had a nice crispy skin (which I almost always eat) and a well cooked interior. The brisket wouldn't likely win awards on its own, but it had a pleasant taste with the tangy BBQ sauce and made a good coupling with the potato and toppings. My fellow diners liked their burgers as well. The highlight of the afternoon for us, though, was seeing the KISS tribute band, KISS Destroyer, play on the stage. The dance floor didn't get much dancing action for this, but it certainly attracted a good "headbanging" crowd, shod in everything from KISS T-shirts to a very convincing Gene Simmons impersonator, the latter of which made an interesting visual with him in the crowd rocking out to the "real" Gene on stage. The sound was great, the lights were good, the band did an outstanding job, and overall, we had a great time. Again, I can't speak for the normal crowds and times, but we liked what we saw during our visit. read more

Went to silver saloon to celebrate my friends birthday and veterans day. I had to get a babysitter for my kids, drive 3 hours, get a hotel, and pay a cover charge all to be "cut off" by a bartender who made a ridiculous judgement call. I wouldn't have minded if I was indeed acting crazy, making a scene, or extremely intoxicated. The reasons the bar tender gave were 1. I had "too many". She made a list of the 7 drinks I drank. Mind you I had 3 other guys drinking with me yet she only tracked mine. The guys drank way more than me but weren't cut off. Also, the drinks were small girly mixed drinks full of juice not shots of hard liquor. Let me add that the drinks were way over priced. Anyway, when I told her my husband had drank way more she threatened that she "could" cut him off too. Her second reason was the way I was acting. I will admit I am a loud out spoken person, it's just my personality. But I was loud when I first got there and it wasn't an issue. I stayed in one area and didn't even talk to anyone other than the people I came with. We even spoke with the manager who agreed and didn't understand her reasoning yet didn't do anything about it either. I felt singled out and disrespected. We spent a good amount of money and to be treated like that was un called for and wrong. I am in the military and have 2 children, I don't get to go out and have fun very often. So I was excited to have a night out with my husband and friends but she completely ruined it for me. read more

My cousin and I came here yesterday on a Friday night. We were both excited and nervous about going because neither one of us had been to a country night club before. From the outside it was nicely lit up so it was a plus not having to park in a dark area. The inside is very spacious with 3 bar areas a restaurant and I believe a few pool tables. The dance floor is a decent size centered in front of the stage. FYI...it is not only line dancing. There were a few line dance songs but the mojority of the music played was not. There was a concert going on later that night that was very entertaining. It had a nice, relaxing, inviting atmosphere. I would love to come again and see how Saturday nights are. read more

The entertainment is pretty good. The drinks are very expensive and seem watered down.

This place is a terrible place to see a concert. They still allow smoking inside which is so gross. The acoustics inside the concert hall are poor unless you are directly in front of the stage. Anywhere on the sides its awful. We drove all the way from Fort Worth to see a show from a band we like. Having been there once we wouldn't even drive across town to see someone play there now. Save your money and wait for your fave act to come to a different venue. read more

Everyone is line dancing nothing else but it is a saloon so that's expected. I think the spotlights are way too in your face though, and I don't like the arena setting of the dance floor. Its like a skating rink. They have a smoking section. Bathrooms were nice but the stalls are short like you can make eye contact w the person in next stall if u are both standing. read more

This place is a lot of fun! It is very clean, there is plenty of seating, and the staff is friendly. We love to dance and found lots of dancers to partner up with! The food was good too. My husband loved the brisket nachos. I would have given 5 stars, but the place is pretty smokey. We have gotten spoiled to the smoke free environments in Dallas. read more

This business is terrible! From the service to the management, I had nothing but horrible service. 10/10 would not recommend this establishment to anyone. I went to this establishment with a friend some nights ago and she was double charged for her order and they did not, in any way try to compensate for their mistake and blamed, my friend, their customer for their mistakes. On top of that they made sassy comments to my friend when she initially complained and had an attitude with her throughout the rest of this situation. I personally feel that they have awful customer service with over priced drinks. It wasn't too bad of an atmosphere but from this experience I will definitely take my patronage elsewhere, and you should do the same. read more
