While they were doing it, they popped up the window.Because it's a convertible that's how they make it fit. In doing so the prop was leaning on the button that made the convertible go up and down. Over the weekend I hit something with my truck causing my passenger side mirror to shatter. I…read morecalled Payless Auto Glass to see if they could come out and replace the missing glass. The mirror itself was still fully in tact. They came out the next day with the replacement glass. The problem was that the glass didn't fit. It seems as though when the glass broke a part inside the mirror must have also come out. As a result I would have to go to a dealer to get a whole new mirror as they cannot replace the glass with a piece missing. It never occurred to me that I would have a situation where the glass couldn't be replaced and where I would have to get a whole new mirror. I asked if there was a charge and the guy said no charge. Right after this his boss called and they talked and he told me it would be a $20 charge. I did not have cash (they could not accept a card) so I had to write a check out for $20. I feel like 1. It was crappy of them to not tell me up front that there would be a charge if for some reason the glass didn't work out 2. The guy drove less than 3 miles and told me no charge then hung up from his boss after having an exchange in a foreign language I am not familiar with and had me write a check for $20. This is poor business practice. I called them after the fact and left a voice mail about the matter. I am still waiting for a call back. I would not recommend these people. Note: the business card I was given after writing the $20 check (I had to ask for the business card by the way) has the name of Sean Kazemi with a different company name of Auto Glass Warehouse.
