I am a local that eats here a lot, from the day they opened during the darkest days of COVID restrictions to now. Everybody struggled to staff up in early 2021, but currently, all the workers who man the registers speak very good English and are both friendly and communicative--youth that mostly grew up in the US in bi-lingual families. My wife seems to need something special for everything she orders, and they get her order correct 95% of the time, but I still check because of the rare slice of cheese that seems to find its way on to a "plain burger with nothing on it--just meat and a bun". I agree that there is a tendency for them to not crisp the fries to my liking, so I specify "extra crispy" and they get it correct. They keep large dispensers of fry sauce on the tables, for Utahns that gotta have the fry sauce (I add Cholula for extra kick). They are good at the south o' the border dishes, and I especially like the tacos and breakfast burritos (try the chorizo!). Their burgers are generally good, hearty, standard American cafe fare, not fancy & expensive gourmet burgers. The chimichangas are also great with generous portions. They do breakfast all day on the weekends. They turn orders around pretty quickly. The indoor seating is generally adequate except during peak hours, especially during peak tourist weekends. They sometimes have trouble keeping up with keeping the tables clean when it's busy. There is some outdoor seating. There is something for everybody on the menu, and the attached 7-11 has every soda you can imagine, which makes this a great stop for getting everyone in your family or crew fed, stocked up on snacks from the attached 7-11, and back on the road.

Had a lovely taco salad after a drive up the mirror lake highway! The club and fries were great as well.

At the same time, they do the "common" stuff really well like kids' food. Great experience through and through. Walking in, you immediately know it's a well-run establishment, there's people moving quickly everywhere and they even have a few to-go areas with coffee stations that seems to be busy. We went during the World Cup and they also had a projector playing one of the games for a cool vibe. They had an amazing menu of commonly found entrees, but with like an elevated twist. Everything from food to coffee was absolutely delicious. Unique flavor profiles and everything just worked. Really cool spot and I would say a must check out if you're in the area.

We tried to sit outside but it was a little cold and windy so we opted for a table inside. The menu is good all options you find at a healthier restaurant. I have always wanted to try shakshuka so I was excited to see it on the menu. My husband ordered an omelet. The food is excellent but I would have changed out the bread for something you can dip out the shakshuka with and I would include lemons with the hot tea. My husband didnt like the potatoes. Service was e collect and the price was good for a resort community. Highly recommend.

Their breakfast and coffee paninis, along with the burritos, are simply outstanding--distinctive, thoughtfully crafted, and far better than anything you'd expect to find tucked inside a hardware store. As a vegetarian, I'm continually impressed. The menu never lets me down; the choices are abundant, creative, and consistently delicious. I find myself inventing excuses to stop by for both breakfast and lunch because it's just that good. The staff adds to the charm--warm, friendly, and genuinely accommodating. And yes, the location inside the hardware store is a little unconventional, but that quirk only adds to its character. It's absolutely worth the small detour. Locally owned, locally loved, and unmistakably unique--Meg's is a gem I return to again and again.

They do have a few tables outside, but if it's chilly like it was for us you're out of luck. We ordered the Reuben sandwich, the cordon Bleu, and the mount Timp, all with fries. We managed to grab the table so we got lucky. When our food came out pretty quickly we dug right in. The fries were delicious and a little crispy. Just the way we like them. I loved my Reuben. It had great flavor and I was happy with it. The others loved their sandwiches as well. They said they weren't obsessed, but they thought they were really good. Overall it was a fun experience and we'd probably stop in again.
