I don't know their overall or official stance on customers returning the thousands of plastic pots that plants are sold in, but I'd hope they encourage customers to return the emptied pots, for the nursery to then return to the providers that they get their plants from. Also, I don't know if Villager Nursery sells any thing physically toxic, like RoundUp or other glyphosate products, or synthetic fertilizers .... Or socioeconomically toxic like Monsanto/Bayer products or MiracleGro products - or if they lean towards working WITH nature, like selling only organic fertilizers and not selling chemical pesticides - but I'd hope so! I haven't gotten to spend much time there, but based on the help I've gotten from a couple people (Liam is the only name I remember offhand), I would recommend them!

But so much more than that. There are unique items you won't find in typical mall locations. My "oooh and ahhh meter" (usually reserved for fireworks) was off the scale. Price range is affordable but they also have the absurdly high end range. When they are not displaying Holiday, they are showing lawn and garden items. This store is a keeper. I love it.

My family and I went out to find a Christmas tree like we always do every year. We typically go to…read moreApple Hill but wanted to try a different place so we venture out to Snowy Peaks Christmas Tree Farm. We walk for at least an hour through the trees to find a barren land with poorly shaped trees in terrible condition. So we end up buying a pre-cut tree for double the price (which they import in from a different location). The tree is put on top of the car by seemingly teenagers and only a mile down the road, it falls off the car. So now I have to pull over just to secure the tree back on the car. Here we are, on December 21 and the tree has fully died, despite rushing it home and immediately putting it in water after cutting the trunk. This place seems to be run poorly and maybe even sets up a model for people to end up buying their more expensive, dying, pre-cut trees. They have surely made a Christmas memory for me I won't forget.

Julie connected us with a welder who repaired it, and when another storm caused more damage, she offered full store credit and arranged for the statue to be removed. She also reserved the replacement statue we wanted, which we purchased today. We are very impressed how she made us feel valued and genuinely wanted to make sure we were happy with our purchase. We are excited to work with Julie and the garden center team to have it installed. Also - we want to shout out Alan who helped us select a couple of plants - a Mugo pine and another purple flowering shrub - he was so knowledgeable about the plants and also gave us some great advice about the watering and care of the plants and our entire garden! This place is great and they have us as customers for life!
