Off I went to verify. Lo and behold, they have a sandwich board outside the front door boasting of their Military / Veterans Discount. So, I went in, scored a free bag of popcorn at the door, was directed to the merchandise I wanted, went to pay where I presented my US Department of Defense Military Veterans id. I received a Veterans Discount. NO employee thanked me for my Service. He received all the help he needed, but my experience was completely different. The moment I picked up an item in the camping aisle and handed it to my husband, who was carrying the basket, I noticed employees watching me. One employee kept their eyes on me for over 10 minutes. It got to the point where I had to make eye contact and stare back because I felt so uneasy. As a brown Asian customer shopping with my Caucasian husband, I couldn't help but feel like I was being singled out. The employees were constantly talking on their radios while watching me. They may have thought they were being subtle, but it was obvious. Whether intentional or not, I was left feeling as though I was being treated like I was stealing, and it completely ruined my shopping experience. No customer should leave a store feeling singled out or uncomfortable. This happened roughly 2-3 weeks ago, and I haven't been back since. Even though the store is only about a minute from my house, I refuse to shop there again. There are plenty of other places that know how to treat customers with respect.

I think stump removal can be an expensive, annoying thing to deal with so I appreciated this a lot. They have a $475 minimum so also trimmed some trees for me. Some were on my neighbors' property (I got permission) and one other person I got a quote from said it would be super expensive to climb the tree and do that. David or Kyle (I forget which) just climbed up on my roof and cut from there. No more elm beetle visitors from the neighbors, woohoo! After they finished, they did a fantastic job cleaning up all the downed branches/leaves, filled in the hole where the tree had been, and raked the front yard (dirt) so it looked normal. You'd never know a tree had been there. Also they were super easy to meet with for an estimate, schedule, and not a long wait. Amazing! I love it when a project is easy! (for me, ha).

His estimate was similar to one other estimate that I received from another company. Kyle was not only friendly and super nice, but he could take it down that week. We were happy because we wanted to take a little vacation but have the job done. Kyle and his helper were professional and took care in the removal plus they cleaned the whole area well when done. They even washed down the driveway and cut down one limb on another tree we had that was shooting out towards the road. I just can't thank them enough for such a nice clean job they did for us. I highly recommend them and will pass the word along through friends, family and social media. If you want an accurate estimate and a hard working team, look no further, this is the right choice. And as you can see on their business cards they also do custom woodworking such as tables, furniture, and wood art. A five star plus rating for a job well done.

I…read morenoticed this gentleman looking at this fine piece of pottery located on the end cap with other fine looking items. I had to wait a minute, walk down another isle to pretend i wasn't interested, until he put it back on the shelf. I quickly retrieved it before anyone else could. It was flawless! I don't think it has ever been filled. I'll remedy that. I did a web search for this item and the artist. Could not find it anywhere. So I called the artist, Joe Winter, and left a message inquiring about it's history. To my surprise he called back that evening and left a message with the history of this Ritchey Growler. It seems in 2012 the COO of Ritchey commissioned approximately 10 of these for the employees of Ritchey Bicycle. I called Joe back the next day and he was happy to chat for a while about the growler and it's history. He's a very friendly guy. I plan to visit his studio the next time i'm in the area. He also mentioned he has made growlers for some of the local breweries in the Reno/Sparks. Time for me to start a collection! And that's my story........I'm sticking with it. Thanks Joe!

I loaded up the flowers in my truck and decided to take them back and talk to them face to face. To my surprise when i got there they had closed the store for the day. i also noticed that being a florist is not there primary business. They sell beauty products as there main business so flowers are secondary there secondary business. This is the second time we have gotten flowers from them and they have died within 2 days. I would never use them again and would not recommend them to anyone.
