It was all arranged nicely and the view from the room was fantastic! The entire hotel only has 6 rooms so it was extremely nice and quiet. Check-in was easy and staff was nice. Breakfast was either brought to your room or eaten in the lounge. It was ordered the day before and brought to you in the morning, very nice. Our older daughter thought it was "fancy" and wants to come back. It was an extremely pleasant stay and we will be back!

We were able to gather in the lounge and go at our own pace. We stay here every time we return to the area. The rooms (recently updated) have always been big, very well appointed and pristine. It's incredibly quiet and parking is right there and always available. The best part is the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The last time we came, they took great pains to help us get a (very hard) reservation at the student-run restaurant in the same building. They are also very knowledgeable about the area. The really good breakfasts are served at whatever time you want, either directly to your room or in the very nice lounge right next to the rooms. Why stay at a much more expensive and impersonal hotel when you can have a relaxed and quiet visit and save a bunch of money at the same time?

This place was elegant and unique- stylish with a boutique flare. Definitely going to be my new go to place (other than the Kimpton Gray downtown). Well done Drake. I'll be back!

It was... disappointing and NOTHING like the real Drake…read more Honestly, upon arriving and seeing the place up close, I decided to leave and not stay after all. I can see where they are trying to go, but it's not there. The place is in disrepair if you pay attention at all (cracks, holes, chipped paint), a crappy elevator, there's even random crap thrown in a corner still in view of guest. If you want to be taken seriously, then handle all the stuff no one sees that isn't sexy, rather than just putting lipstick on a pig. There's no consistent theme. It's like 5 different people walked through a 2nd hand store in a rush, with no other options, so each picked what they found in their scavenger hunt and then threw it all together. It's a big space. The staff was great and welcoming. Seriously, they were solid. The place is a 2 star, but staff is worth another star. It just felt like coming to visit my aunt who doesn't get a lot of visitors so she threw everything in a closet knowing guest are coming over. We all have to ignore the smell and everything else. The stuff on the walls makes sense to her as they are her memories, but there's no theme other than her history, so none of it makes sense to anyone else. It's just awkward. The reason this place isn't booming is 100% on the owner. They are trying to look bougie, while ignoring real issues, and clearly in way over their head attempting to do way too much with too little. They need to take a loan or get an investor and make this place amazing. It could be, but it's not. Then again, not sure if the place they dream of could survive in that area as the prices would need to double and the area may not be willing to pay. Potential investors may have said the same. I see the vision, but also see the reality, which just frustrated me as there was conflict around every corner. Also, the bar closes early at like 8 or 9pm. Additionally the upgraded rooms with "garden view" are anything but. The actual room is good. The detached building however looks like it was a nursing home that's never been changed or upgraded; at least on the outside and entrance. When you walk in the front door of said nursing home, it SMELLS like a nursing home. It was strong and not in a good way. When you are in your room and look outside at the "garden view", it's a crappy 1/2 wall that appears to have been designed and built as a favor by a drunk uncle who was in a rush. It's very small and insignificant. It's an eye sore, but the "garden" is actually just the back yard looking directly into a crappy middle class neighborhood of back yards. All in all, my "get away" upgraded experience felt more like a motel 6 with a $1,000,000 dream on a $500 budget.

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. It was nice to have a two room suite (all their rooms are this way) so the kids could be in their own space without needing their own room. Our bed was very comfortable and the shower was devine. If you're planning for anyone to sleep on the sofa bed then just know it's not very comfortable due to the thin mattress, however sofa beds are notoriously uncomfortable anyway. The free breakfast was a big hit with us too since they had a made to order omelet station in addition to continental options and other hot breakfast choices. Another tip, be sure to take advantage of the evening reception to enjoy 2 free adult beverages (more than just beer or wine) and snacks (cheese, crackers, veggies and chips with salsa). All and all we were pleased and want to stay at an Embassy Suites again in the future.

We got to the hotel at approx 8pm from a long drive and were eager for the jacuzzi. As soon as we checked in, all the common areas are packed and I mean packed with people! There seems to be a family reunion going on. We checked out the pool...it was PACKED with kids jumping in and out of the pool! even the jacuzzi was filled with kids and a handful of adults. So we skipped! We just decided to chill in our room. We asked for extra pillows for the sofa bed. They were out! Not a single extra pillow!!! Not only was that frustrating, there were kids running around the hallway yelling at 2-4am (kids running both days Saturday and Sunday at these times) and the room next to us must've had so many people in the room slamming doors and arguing at 2-4am as well!!! We couldn't understand where are the adults of these children just running in the hallway between 2-4 am! I swear never again to come here! The guests just blew our minds. Etiquette do not exist. Front desk/concierge were no help either.

This is, without question, the nastiest, most disgusting hotel we have ever stayed in…read more The property is filthy, run-down, and shockingly neglected. It looks nothing like the photos advertised online. The elevator is completely out of service, yet no one had the courtesy to notify us before we arrived. Because of this, my husband and I were forced to climb four flights of stairs repeatedly throughout our stay. What was supposed to be an enjoyable weekend turned into a painful and frustrating experience. The constant trips up and down the stairs aggravated my husband's knee problems so severely that he was unable to participate in the bowling tournament that was the entire reason for our visit. The front desk staff seemed completely indifferent to the inconvenience and hardship this caused. There was no apology, no warning, and no effort to make the situation right. To make matters worse, my husband used his hard-earned reward points to book this stay--points that were completely wasted on a property that falls far below even the most basic standards. The condition of this hotel is absolutely unacceptable. Boxes are piled up in the front windows, creating an abandoned and unprofessional appearance. The carpets are stained and filthy, paint supplies and maintenance materials are left sitting out in plain view, and the entire property feels neglected. The toilet in our room is literally separating from the tile floor, raising serious concerns about cleanliness and safety. Even the so-called king bed appears to be a queen at best, making yet another advertised feature misleading. To make matters worse, my husband was told he only needed to pay a one-time deposit. Tonight, he was unexpectedly asked to pay another deposit, and no one could provide a clear or reasonable explanation. The lack of communication and consistency is unacceptable. The photos online are extremely misleading. What is advertised is not what you will experience when you arrive. The reality is a dirty, poorly maintained hotel that appears to be in desperate need of repairs and proper management. We wasted our points, our time, and our weekend. I strongly encourage anyone considering this hotel to think twice before booking. Do not rely on the photos. They paint a completely false picture of what you will actually find. I will be sharing my experience on Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and X because I do not want others to go through what we experienced.
