Met with Waterman and dropped off the turntable. Within 4 or 5 days he called me and let me know it was ready. He was very thorough. He brought the unit back to life, replaced parts that needed and added a new Audio-Technica LS300 cartridge, made in japan. The whole process was painless and turn around great. There are not too many people around that have the ability to do this kind of work I am glad I found Waterman. My other components are in great shape but if something goes amiss I will certainly contact him again. He manages his business by his own rules, kind of like Digital vs Analog. In some ways it's refreshing. Thanks - Recommended.

I called to inquire about repairing a high end component. From the moment he answered the phone, he seemed annoyed. I said, "Hello, I ..." and he interrupted, "who is this?" and I started to introduce myself. He interrupted again, "why are you calling, do you know it's a Saturday!?". I acknowledged I did know what day it was and decided I had no desire to entrust this person with my equipment or my time. I suspect he may be on the ASD spectrum. Not that there's anything wrong with that, however is sure is off putting and not conducive for working with others. Additionally, after reading other reviews & replies, Mr. Waterman should consider staying at his workbench and having a 'front office' person handle his customers.

This review is for the printing center!…read more I used the Printing Center to make some business cards, which in reality were cards going to be used for a best friends Celebration of Life token bags. I did the design myself on my phone. They got them done quickly and notified me right away. When I picked them up, I noticed that the printing was offset. There were two employees at the counter, one looked like a manager. I told them what happened, they jumped on it right away and was so friendly about it. It wasn't their fault, more of a computer printer error. Needless to say, they helped me re-upload my images, they insured the quality themselves on their computer, and showed me a sample before printing. They came out beautifully. I left with the new cards and nothing was a hassle. These ladies were the best!! They were so helpful and they maintained a very helpful and positive attitude. I appreciated the great experience they provided me! Thank you so much

Not at Staples in Concord, tho: Michelle, manager Dayna, and staff make this Staples an oasis of easy in a hard world. I needed flyers for a tenant organization finished - I did what I could on my own, but needed an expert to get my project over the finish line. Michelle was super patient and kind when I told her I was paying for everything myself and generously created an order I could afford. The flyers look awesome, and I left Staples with a huge smile and the knowledge that there are a whole lot of good people still in the world, humans who share their power rather than steal yours. Thank you, Michelle - you are awesome!

Then, my girl pondering which bicycle tire pump to get, seeing a fellow at some distance from that section of the store wearing a red Target shirt, motioned to him that we needed help, before realizing it was Ed. Wonder of wonders, Ed carefully explained the difference. Target really should make Ed not just store manager, but regional manager, in charge of training. Ed's genuineness is infectious, his range of knowledge remarkable, his casual intellect makes shopping a breeze. Ed would be a welcomed addition in Target's corporate offices. Anyone long in business knows people are quick to complain, slow to praise. So please let my words of appreciation for this cheerful, savvy soul serve as proxy for all the Target customers Ed has helped but who never bothered thanking him for his thoughtful help, for going the extra mile. Shopping and its decisions at Walnut Creek, CA Target,1871 North Main Street, are both pleasurable and illuminating thanks to a rare gentleman like Ed.

Recently, we returned and my wife was able to find what she was looking for. On a Saturday afternoon, the store was busy, but we were still able to get in and out fast. This is one of the busier Target stores I've been to. I think my sister prefers it to the one in Oakland. It reminds me of our Target at home in Atlanta (Atlantic Station) because it has a garage and you have to take escalators/stairs up to get into the store (however, at this location, if you park outside, there is no need to take the escalators/stairs).
