Interesting concept of Uzbek and Turkish food so decided to come and try it. The place is beautiful and has what it seems a traditional seating area in which you can sit in the floor with rugs. The food was very flavorful although I must say it doesn't make sense to order a babaganush dip that doesn't include a bread to dip in; they make you order a $7 bread. The service was definitely the down side, two servers for the whole restaurant with one that was completely uninterested in providing any meaningful service.

Delicious food, spotless interior, and top-notch service! This restaurant is not only clean and well-organized but also incredibly family-friendly. We ordered a fresh salad, French fries, potatoes with mushrooms, and a variety of kebabs--and every single dish was packed with flavor. The chicken and lyulya kebabs were a big hit with the kids, and the house-made kompot took me right back to my childhood--such a nostalgic touch! We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning.

Great local spot with delicious Uzbeki food. Kompot was 10/10. Not too sweet. Perfectly made. Sim sim salad was unique. It had chunks of meat in it and we quite liked it actually. Potatoes with mushrooms you can never go wrong there. Lamb ribs were a bit fatty and small portion but cooked really well. Great service. We enjoyed the outdoor seating area. They played some upbeat music which made it that much more enjoyable. Would come back for sure.

The samsa is absolutely delicious! Service was quick and very hospitable. The place is very quaint and clean. We enjoyed our visit. Will come back to try other items on the menu.

Had dinner with my family, it was very tasty, cozy and beautiful restaurant. I recommend .

Kofte Kebab - Chicken Kebab - Pilav

Uber eats order. Food arrived very cold but ahead of schedule. Pilav - rice and carrots had good flavor, sadly the meat was extremely dry and tasteless. This is the wrong meat for Pilav and sadly they went for a very cheap cut of lamb. If they upgrade the meat this would be a great dish. The kofte kebab was overcooked and dry and brittle. Rice that came with it was badly cooked and very small grain. The chicken was ok, not memorable or tasty. The slice of bread it came with was hard as a rock and the achik tomato salad was bland.

Turns out we had been here before and it was awesome. We were so glad to be back. There is a wonderful mix of food and pastries and drinks. Some things you may never have seen before or had. It is clean, spacious with a cafe and outside vibe without being outside. Definitely a hidden gem. Everything we had was delicious but the chocolate banana bread pudding with ice cream for dessert was just insane. Service is friendly and it a great spot for small groups. Definitely stop in if you are in the area and want really good food. My daughter got an egg Benedict on a croissant. So good.

Aesthetic Brunch Without the Crazy Wait…read more Came here for brunch on a Saturday and honestly loved it. I expected it to be packed, but there was barely any wait, which already made the experience better. The place is super aesthetic, really nice to sit and enjoy a slow brunch. Service was super friendly and welcoming. The Eggs Benedict Florentine is a must order. It comes with potatoes on the side and everything was really good. Prices are actually really good for how the place looks. I thought it was going to be more on the expensive side, but it's super reasonable. Only downside is parking, not a lot of spots, but if you look around you'll find something. I'd definitely come back to try more things. Such a solid brunch spot!

Attractive decor, great vibe, noise level lively, but we were easily able to have conversation at our table for four. Everything on the menu sounded delicious. Our exceptional "guide" for the evening, Belen, was welcoming, gave a brief intro to the menu, and absolutely added to the positive experience in every way. Service and the pace of the evening was on point. We did not take her recommendation of the Salatim Tower (flatbread with a sample of every spread) to start, but built our own choose 3 + pita - all delicious!! We were ranking the spreads as we moved on to open-fire Saffron Caramelized Cod, Moroccan couscous and fire-roasted carrots. Our conversation was replaced with oohs and aaahs and comments of "yum" or "omg". We all planned to pass on dessert, but Belen mentioned their signature tahini soft serve, adding customers have called it "life-changing", so we shared one and it was. Unbelievably delicate, unique and delicious. With a bottle of wine and tip the evening was $425. Thank you, marvelous Belen!!!

Couldn't really enjoy the food , which isn't that great anyway. Pricey with a service charge of 18% applied before tax as part of the bill. Adding insult to injury for this unfortunate experience. Five stars, and I'm saying that confidently, even though the rice at a place literally called Rice…read morewas, ironically, the most disappointing part of the meal. And yes, I know how wild that sounds. But hear me out, because this experience was about way more than just what was on the plate. From the moment we walked in, the energy was warm, welcoming, and honestly infectious. The staff made us feel like regulars even though it was our first time. There was laughter, conversation, and this genuine sense that the people working there actually enjoy being there. That alone already sets Rice apart. And then there was Joanne. I'm pretty sure that was her name, but even if it wasn't, she knows exactly who she is. Absolute queen behavior. She welcomed us like family, checked in on us, brought the food to the table with pride, and somehow made a casual dinner feel like a VIP experience. That level of hospitality is rare, and it deserves recognition. Service alone was a perfect five out of five. Now let's talk food honestly. The meats were very good. Flavorful, well cooked, satisfying, and clearly the strong point of the menu. Everything came out quickly, which I appreciated, and overall the meal felt solid. The rice, however, was a bit of a letdown. I would honestly rate it around a five out of ten, which stung a little given the name of the restaurant. It wasn't inedible, just underwhelming, and it stood out because everything else was better. Would it stop me from enjoying the meal? No. Would I hope they improve it? Absolutely. The restaurant itself has a modern feel overall. The restroom was clean, which always matters, even if it felt a bit outdated. No bad smells, no mess, just clearly maintained, and that counts for a lot in my book. Pricing wise, this is where I paused for a second. I'm from Los Angeles, and the prices here felt very competitive with LA. Portion sizes were also similar to what I'm used to back home. Miami overall has felt slightly more affordable during this trip, so this spot landed more on the higher end for me. That said, the nonstop to go orders told me everything I needed to know. People clearly love this place, and they keep coming back. At the end of the day, Rice earns five stars because of the people, the atmosphere, and the way they make you feel when you're there. Not every meal has to be perfect to be memorable. Sometimes it's the warmth, the laughter behind the counter, and the way you're treated that makes a place worth supporting. I may think twice if the rice stays the same, but I walked out smiling, and that says a lot. If you value great service, good energy, and flavorful Mediterranean food with heart, Rice is absolutely worth a visit.

I finally made it in and unfortunately, left a little disappointed. It's possible I just ordered poorly, but the chicken I chose for my protein (I believe it's called the "slow-cooked chicken") was shredded a little too finely for my liking and had a hard-to-describe flavor I don't typically associate with Mediterranean food. Also, it was served at a tepid temperature, further diminishing the experience. I'll return for one of the cubed meats, or perhaps the snapper; they looked decent and might be the way to go here.

Avoid this place at all costs…read more This was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The falafel was terrible, the chicken kebob plate was awful, and the overall food quality was completely unacceptable for somewhere calling itself Mediterranean cuisine. The dish claimed to come with peppers there was literally one tiny piece in the entire kebab. The chicken had no flavor and tasted poorly, and the rice was completely off, more like Mexican rice than anything remotely Mediterranean. What's even more frustrating is the way the staff handled it. When we raised concerns, they didn't take any responsibility and brushed it off as if the issue was on us. No attempt to fix the problem, no acknowledgment just dismissive and unprofessional. And somehow, they charge a mandatory 20% service fee for this. For what? There was zero service, zero care, and zero effort to make things right. Charging customers extra while delivering this level of food and attitude is unacceptable. Do not waste your time or money here. There are far better options out there. Honestly, I'd take store-bought hummus from Publix over this. If you actually want good Mediterranean food and proper service, go to Ethos instead it's night and day. This place is not worth it.

Service was good overall -- attentive enough with no major complaints, but nothing particularly memorable either. Food, however, was a mixed experience. Maybe we didn't choose the restaurant's strongest dishes, but if something is on the menu, it should still meet expectations. The beef filet mignon kebab was cooked to the requested medium rare temperature, which was appreciated, but the meat itself lacked tenderness. The kutabi was decent but didn't leave much of an impression. The soup was probably the weakest part of the meal, tasting more like reheated leftovers from the previous day rather than something freshly prepared.
