The young guy was super nice , friendly, explain the menu it was our first time over , the customer services was excellent and girls always ask if we need anything. The food was good, prices ok but the only thing I did not like was this is the first time that pay and I did not see my bill I don't like to pay without seeing it what I am pay .. you have to cashier and they tell you how much you owe and you hope it is correct, that is not good . Canceled an Uber 1 minutes after it being placed because the meat was not halal, called the restaurant to modify it and they refused to give me halal meat and refused to refund me. This place is half restaurant and half grocery. When we got there there was a large party with kids running around. We got the Aladin appetizer and it was good. Then I order the shawarma wrap, hubby got the shawarma plater and my son got the pizza. The wrap was good but dry. The platter was really dry. The waiters for got about my sons pizza and he didn't get it until after we finished and it was cold. The manager apologized and made another one but by then he got full of fries. They refilled our waters and never add ice so we got room temperature water. When the bus boy came to drop off the waters he spilled it on me and my sons food. When you enter you go in through a grocery store, you can order food to go on the back of the grocery store. They have a room with chairs and tables. If you dine in you get charged 15% extra in your bill. We decided to dine in, I ordered the chickens platter and my husband got a meat shawarma. My chicken platter was super big, with a lot of rice and a side salad. My husband shawarma was a little small for the price but it was really delicious. Originally we ordered a hummus in the beginning but it arrived after our entries got there. Also we had to remind her that we ordered it. It didn't bother us because the food was amazing and she was super sweet and nice. For desert we ordered an assorted baklava and a Burma. Both where delicious and I couldn't decide which was better. I gave it a 4 start because I was expecting a full restaurant and a little more options on food and a little faster service, also in yelp pictures look much prettier and cleaner. Came to Miami for work, and was craving some good middle eastern food, and saw this Syrian place on Yelp. I noticed a photo of the Aladdin shawarma, and was instantly drawn to it since it seemed authentic. I ordered the Aladdin shawarma with the lamb, but they informed me that they only had chicken. Fine by me. I also ordered 2 kibbeh just to try it out. The shawarma was Fantastic, like really really good! With the garlic sauce, I finished the shawarma way too quick, but enjoyed every bite. The kibbeh were great as well, but the shawarma is the real star. It was so good in fact, that I came back the next day before my flight, just to try the meat version, which was also amazing. I love that they have a market/ restaurant in one area. They also have a TO GO area in the market. In my opinion, the food was pretty good. The servers were really nice and were overall the best thing there. I had the Kabob Chicken dinner which was tasty, however after I brought it home, the taste wavered greatly and I threw it away. My friends had the "Special of the day" which was braised lamb in a yogurt based sauce. The lamb was pretty good however it came with a soup that was literally the broth of the lamb. I can not understand a 4 star rating for this place. The market is overpriced and when I asked for a specific item he showed me something that is not what I asked for in the first place.
