I was in between giving this place a 2 or 3 star. I love the location and the place and ambiance is so nice. I also love all the lights and the outdoor location. The food was ok, but so not get deceived like I did. I always go on yelp prior to going to places and about 75% of the food that is on yelp is no longer on the menu. The server said they just recently changed the menu and there isn't much variety. So, to begin with, upon arrival I told the hostess that it was 4 of us plus a baby and I asked for a high chair. She sat us down in the table we wanted outside and said she was going to get the high chair. We waited about 10 minutes because I'm shy and she came to get our order and we asked again for the high chair because my husband was still standing with the baby and she said she was sorry that she totally forgot which was fine , we are all humans. We then got a different server because I guess they just work together and we asked a few questions on drinks because it was our first time here but the server didn't really know much of what we were asking which again is fine because she might have been new. We ended up ordering a few drinks and appetizers and my friend mentioned his severe tuna allergy and asked for the rice salmon appetizer. The appetizers took a while to come and when they did they brought the roll he ordered and we noticed it was red like tuna and we asked the server if they made sure it was salmon and she said yes. The other server came at the same time with our drinks and said wait hold on don't eat that because that looks like tuna which is what we assumed it was. So she took it away and it took about 20 more minutes for that to come back. While waiting they brought us another roll that we didn't order WITH TUNA. lol 2x attempted murder hahaha. The servers also seemed as they were annoyed to be at work or didn't really want to work and I just didn't feel right. The food was pretty expensive for what it was honestly and they charge you an automatic 18% tip which is probably why their service is so bad. Not sure I'll recommend this place to any of my friends unfortunately. read more

The experience was excellent. The service was on point and friendly. Tried the Chorizo, Edamames, Tuna Tartar, Lomo and Coquetón Rolls. Unbeknowst to us, this restaurant has only been open for 3 months, but was packed. I called and one of the servers, Leo, graciously saved a table for 2 for us which is unheard of since, mostly if not all, restaurants require patrons to be present in order to be seated. We sat outside since the evening was so nice and cool. Our server, Jidda, was absolutely amazing! ALL her suggestions were spot on. From the wines to the appetizers to the sushi rolls. The Pinot Grigio was heavenly, the bang bang shrimp were seasoned, perfectly cooked, and with just enough kick. The tuna tartar was fresh and delightful. The lomo sushi roll was spectacular! A little of everything all rolled into one (no pun intended...lol). What made our evening complete was when the owner, Mr. Trivedi, came personally to our table to make sure our first time experience was an unforgettable one. Needless to say, that we were at the "right place" at the "right time" and will be returning in the near future. I Don't ever write reviews but this place made me want to write my first. The location is small with about 10 inside tables, and a couple patio. Our server was kind caring and attentive. The restaurant was vibrant and the dj made the place feel alive. The staff seemed happy and hardworking; except for the hostess that seemed to have an attitude, never smiling, gave me very condescending tones and even placed down a filled carafe of water ( that we waited a ridiculous 30 minutes for) AGGRESSIVELY causing her to hit the soy sauce bottle spilling over the birthday girls white dress and her newly untouched food. The water she brought wasn't even the still water she sarcastically said she was going to have to charge me. Im shocked as to how she carried and represented herself. I understand people have their off days but being unhappy working somewhere should not have to reflect on your guests experience. *No managers approached the table about the situation* The food was perfectly cooked however half our table was eating while the other half waited for their food, we had patience, the chef even came out towards the end and had a fun conversation with the remaining tables. read more

One of my new favorite sushi spots. A little on the pricey side but the service and quality is worth it. The overall ambiance is fun and would make a great brunch spot - bar seating, booth seating, and we chose to sit outside. I got the Sim roll (definitely recommend) and the Croquetona roll. These are smaller (perfectly sized) rolls and two had me very full. My friend got the Salmon steak which was delish as well! If you're wanting a guilty pleasure app - try the Papas Bravas, the sauce on top was the best part. This place charges an 18% service fee THAT DOES NOT go to the waiters. I had subpar sushi. The service was fine. When I received the bill my waitress let me know the service fee was NOT for her and was something the restaurant charged for the back of house staff. Her tip was separate. I wound up paying almost FORTY PERCENT on service. Absolutely ridiculous, especially considering the food was not great. What an embarrassment.
