Great spot on the corner in South Miami. Came here this past Saturday evening for a friend's birthday dinner. I loved the décor and the vibes of this place. We tried some rolls along with the bang bang shrimp and the tuna crispy rice. Everything was good, and we especially enjoyed the Sim roll! We told our waitress it was our friend's birthday and we chose the tiramisu dessert so she could be serenaded with Happy Birthday. The dessert was probably one of the best tiramisu I have ever had! In addition, the staff came and sang with sparklers and music and one even put on a panda mask and danced around us at our table. We came here a couple months ago and they had pretty fair prices and a happy hour until 7, so we decided to visit again. Everything has changed. I haven't been forced to pay for water even in Miami Beach areas, so to be told it's a $6 charge for WATER is already ridiculous. The cocktails start at $18 basically and again, this is South Miami, not Brickell or South Beach - and the prices for cocktails aren't even that high at most places we visit there anyway. Why are we paying $20 just for ONE cocktail? They also cut the happy hour from 4-7 pm to 4-6 pm. Basically making it so that no one can catch the happy hour drinks after work. The food is okay, but not worth the high prices. If the owner would've kept prices fair, had the happy hour until 7, and didn't charge us for WATER, we'd probably come back, and they could've made a lot more money off of us. Now, we're never coming back. Edit: I also forgot to mention there is a MANDATORY 20% gratuity added for the entire staff, it doesn't even go to your server. So if you want to thank your server you'll need to pay them in cash because that 20% doesn't go entirely to them. How many extra charges are there in this place?! (The service is great, we are mostly not returning because of the ridiculous prices. If we want to pay these prices we'd be in South Beach or something, not South Miami...) read more

The spicy tuna salad was ok. Only three tiny tuna piece with lots of colorful lettuce. Not worth the price. The salad sauce was spectacular. We ordered the breaded chicken. It was burned and dry. Disappointing but still delicious. Will I order it again? No way. I was a bit ticked by the over attention. The waiter came every 3 minutes to ask about something or to take away something. They were too attentive. I wasn't enjoying it. I go to the restaurant to relax, enjoy my company and not feel rushed. I felt rushed. I would say to the owner, ask your team to bring it down a notch, relax a bit so that your guests enjoy their time. Would I go back? Yes, I will give it one more try. I will order sushi; no hot platters. I want the restaurant to succeed. We need more choices in the area. This place has a chance. The inside of the place is quite the vibe! Very instagrammable, the decor is modern with Asian influences. The bar area is very nice and the service was excellent. Looks like they had a table with a DJ setup but no DJ was present while we dined. Nonetheless, the music choice was cool, not too loud or obnoxious. We never had to ask for anything, water was always full, table was always clean, utensils were replaced for new dishes, drinks were excellent, but the food is the real winner at this place! We went to many restaurants during our 3 day trip to Miami and this restaurant was hands down the best out of all of them. By making the first restaurant during our stay we actually set the bar way too high the first night bc all the other restaurants we went to left us disappointed lol. Little something for everyone. My foodie friend and I love to eat with our eyes and we tend to overindulge with goodness! Brittany took care of us and recommended superb selections from their menu. She was very knowledgeable of the menu, extremely efficient and amicable! I was in between giving this place a 2 or 3 star. I love the location and the place and ambiance is so nice. I also love all the lights and the outdoor location. The food was ok, but so not get deceived like I did. I always go on yelp prior to going to places and about 75% of the food that is on yelp is no longer on the menu. The server said they just recently changed the menu and there isn't much variety. So, to begin with, upon arrival I told the hostess that it was 4 of us plus a baby and I asked for a high chair. She sat us down in the table we wanted outside and said she was going to get the high chair. We waited about 10 minutes because I'm shy and she came to get our order and we asked again for the high chair because my husband was still standing with the baby and she said she was sorry that she totally forgot which was fine , we are all humans. We then got a different server because I guess they just work together and we asked a few questions on drinks because it was our first time here but the server didn't really know much of what we were asking which again is fine because she might have been new. We ended up ordering a few drinks and appetizers and my friend mentioned his severe tuna allergy and asked for the rice salmon appetizer. The appetizers took a while to come and when they did they brought the roll he ordered and we noticed it was red like tuna and we asked the server if they made sure it was salmon and she said yes. The other server came at the same time with our drinks and said wait hold on don't eat that because that looks like tuna which is what we assumed it was. So she took it away and it took about 20 more minutes for that to come back. While waiting they brought us another roll that we didn't order WITH TUNA. lol 2x attempted murder hahaha. The servers also seemed as they were annoyed to be at work or didn't really want to work and I just didn't feel right. The food was pretty expensive for what it was honestly and they charge you an automatic 18% tip which is probably why their service is so bad. Not sure I'll recommend this place to any of my friends unfortunately. read more
