My wife ordered pineapple fried rice with chicken over the phone for takeout. When we got home and opened the food, we realized they had given us the wrong order. It looked like some kind of chicken fried rice with no pineapple. Ok fine it happens. My wife called the restaurant to let them know about the mistake and then drove back to get it corrected. When she got there, the woman behind the counter grabbed a menu, pointed to the pineapple fried rice, and asked her if that was what she had ordered. The way she handled it came across as condescending, almost like my wife didn't know what she had ordered. She then told my wife to take a seat. What bothered us even more was that it appeared they may have simply taken the rice my wife returned, added some pineapple to it, tossed it around in the pan, and handed it back to her instead of making a fresh order. Obviously, we can't say for certain that's what happened, but that's exactly how it looked and tasted because we've had the Pineapple Fried Rice before. Mistakes happen, and I normally wouldn't leave a bad review over simply receiving the wrong order. The problem was how the mistake was handled. Between the incorrect food, the unnecessary attitude, having to drive back, and the overall poor customer service, this ended up wasting about an hour of our time. This is what happens when you order a particular type of food sparingly. Dear Hubby remembers that he had been to this restaurant before, but I had no recollection of it. When I came to enter my review, I see that we did take-out from here last year. Gave them another try, and still find the Pad See Ew under-sauced and under-flavored. I added some coconut aminos (less sodium than soy sauce) to the dish, and that helped some. But the lack of tangy sauciness that I hoped for was a disappointment again. This time they were generous with the chicken and the green veggies, and I appreciate that. The portion size is also good. I will get two meals out of one to-go serving. I wish that I felt up to cooking and experimenting with a recipe for a Thai-inspired Pad See Ew sauce. I would use that to wake up the taste when I have the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The inclusion of a small container of chopped peanuts made for a suitably tasty and crunchy topping for the dish. DH said, "I thought you didn't like peanuts." I like peanuts just fine; I just find peanut sauce too much at times. The crushed peanuts work well as compliment to this dish. read more

Service was sweet, ambiance was nice, and the food was delicious. We ordered all our basic dishes to try before diving deep. Tom Kha Kai to start - really tasty and warm. Next we had the crab fried rice and shrimp pad Thai which were both prepared so well. It tasted authentic and homemade. They do not skimp on ingredients. Thai Noodles recently changed their name to Chada. I've been to this location one other time and remembered thinking it I had to go back since it the food tastes pretty authentic to me. This time I ordered the pad see ew because I was craving fried noodles and it didn't disappoint. I ate the entire thing in one sitting! the Chinese broccoli was perfectly charred, noodles weren't overcooked at all and chicken was fresh and perfectly seared. I love adding pickled chilies to my noodles so that did add an additional layer of flavor but it wasn't needed! Always have to have Thai tea to pair with your meal when visiting a Thai establishment. The Thai iced tea was perfect. wasn't too sweet or too strong of tea. Service was great. Sweetest older lady served me and my food came out only a few minutes after I ordered! read more

First time going back there after the ownership & restaurant name change (apparently happened 4 weeks ago). Ordered a couple of items to-go. Not sure if the chef is the same or different, but the food was still great. The problems are the major price increase and their mediocre service... I ended up waiting for almost 30 minutes even though I was the only customer right after they opened for dinner. They gave me a wrong item, white rice instead of brown rice I asked for. The soup lid wasn't sealed properly, and by the time I got home, all the broth spilled out in the thin plastic bag and leaked a little bit outside the bag as well. Speaking about their soup, they only have one big size now... no more smaller size, which is a bummer. With the drastic price increase and poorer operation, I don't know if I want to go back there to dine again... maybe I should give them another chance because their food was still great. When I went in to pick it up, I realized it was a different name and a different owner and I asked how the soup was and she said it was great. She was lying, lol. The old owner (Thai Noofles) had the best soup recipe the Tom Ka Gai coconut chicken soup, the new owner has the most vile soup I've ever tasted in my life. No vegetables, no flavor, rubber chicken the broth......I don't even know what that was. But not worth $60 which is what I paid for the meal. Beware you're wasting your money. I've tried all the Thai places in Simi, and this one is by far the best. Got the Pad Kee Mao and Pad Thai. The noodles were so moist and saucy, the beef was so tender. I've never had Pad Kee Mao with such tender beef. This is the only Thai place I will be going from now on. read more

Hidden germ in Simi Valley. It's a small family business but the food here has a big flavor. Amazing service. Warm-like family atmosphere, very clean inside. We had ordered multiple dishes E-San sausage, pork BBQ, and sticky rice as appetizers: both dishes have so much flavor, they use high-quality ingredients, and we enjoyed every single bite. Pad see eaw and Rad nan taste just like we eat in Thailand Pad Thai: use fresh and large tvsize shrimp, they give a very genius portion. They are one of our favorite Thai restaurants. The pad Thai was flavorless as well which was disappointing. It's unfortunate to get 2 star dishes of Thai food wrong. I ordered a Thai iced tea with boba. It was predominantly filled with ice. The tea tasted good but the boba was just average. Overall, I left very unsatisfied & that I wasted $35+ dollars. First off I want to start by saying, I have always loved going to Thai Noodle until tonight. I was craving it, it was all that I wanted for dinner but this is what happened and made me just walk out. I honestly completely lost my appetite based on the way this is staff member had acted. There was a young girl with what seem to be her friends in the restaurant, she started talking some smack to one of the guys asking him why he was saying hello to her mom and then she said something to me like "I don't want him talking to my mother he's my boyfriend". I get it it's an hour and some-odd before you close and your boyfriend and his friends are hanging out in your restaurant but acting like this is far from professional. I had never met her before so I with sitting there, she gave me a menu and as I was reading through the menu she started saying all kinds of inappropriate things, talking smack to her boyfriend. This kind of behavior in front of the customer just doesn't look good. She looked at me and asked if I was going to order. "Not yet" i responded. She then walked over to her boyfriend, who she had just (probably playfully) scolded her boyfriend and asked him if he was hungry. "What do you want to eat?" She asked as she cuddled close to him. I found it all too weird, the way she spoke to him, the way she acted, unprofessional and obviously I don't know her well enough to know if this is standard for her. Working at a business talking and acting the way that she did in front of clients just isn't appropriate. Sad to say I don't know if I will come back to this restaurant, which is very upsetting because I've been coming here for such a long time. read more
