What a great experience I had here yesterday test driving Broncos! My friend Jerry Reynolds who used to own many Ford dealerships and was President of the National Ford Dealers Council told me that in the Los Angeles area, this was the best dealership to do business with, that they will treat you right, give you the best deal and not sell you things you don't need. I drove from Santa Monica to come here and it was definitely worth the trip! While I was not ready to buy a car on this visit--this is the only Ford dealer I would go to when I am ready for Bronco. I had to opportunity to chat with General Manager Henry Ford when I was here--such an incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant person. I shot a few highly technical questions at him and he handled them easily and with more information than you would expect someone to have without research. So if you always wanted to meet a "Ford" come here and ask for Henry. The sales consultant Lisa, while newer to the car sale industry was a pleasant as they come in the car business. I hope she has a great career here. Finally, I was always wondering why the Bronco is so expensive but so popular in my area? I found out yesterday: It is an incredible vehicle to drive--as fun as it comes with excellent handling on highway at speed and over poor condition roads. The power of the V6 was remarkable! But even the 4 Turbo was fine and nimble just with more whine. You don't want to stop driving the Bronco. So if you are are in the market for a new vehicle--make sure to try Bronco. (And don't get confused between the Bronco and Bronco Sport--they are very very different: Bronco is a powerful truck make in the USA Michigan, Bronco Sport is a fluffy SUV made in Mexico that comes with a slow 3 cylinder engine at it's base.)

I came to Price Ford of Simi Valley in the hopes of getting some warranty work on my 2023 Big Bend Bronco. I am the second owner of it and the hard top was starting to crack and come apart. It's a well known QC issue item from an outside vendor. Upon my arrival; Steve introduced himself to me. He walked the vehicle with me; listened to my concerns with the hard top. They elected to make a report and they sent it in for possible warranty work. Steve was amazing through this entire process. To this day; he is the ONLY service advisor I have come in contact with at ANY dealership that followed up 100% of the time and he always called and gave me updates when he said he would. Steve was so kind, compassionate, and a pleasure to work with. I will never forget this experience and I was really just humbled by the entire process. Before leaving; we walked the entire vehicle to make sure everything was up to par and the team did a great job with my claim on this vehicle! Thank you Steve for being an amazing service advisor and just a great person in general. Everyone I came in contact with at this dealership was just so nice and it was really just a nice change of pace. Grateful to have met Steve and everyone who I came in contact with at this dealership!

Dealership prices should be illegal you will get better work and honesty from a local mechanic vs dealership.

I am writing to formally complain about the poor service, overcharging, and mishandling of my vehicle during recent repairs at Price Ford of Simi Valley. I brought my 2005 Ford F-450 truck to your dealership for maintenance due to intermittent power loss issues, and the experience has been frustrating, costly, and unprofessional. Below is a detailed account of the events, which have led me to feel taken advantage of and disrespected as a customer. I am seeking a full refund of the amounts paid, compensation for my time and inconvenience, and an assurance that this matter will be investigated internally to prevent similar issues for other customers. I delivered my truck to your service department. The vehicle was operational but experiencing occasional power loss. After your diagnostic check, I was informed that the Fuel Injection Control Module (FICM) and injectors needed replacement. I expressed doubt that this was the root cause, suspecting a less extensive issue, but proceeded based on your recommendation as I needed the truck back in working condition. You quoted approximately $4,500 for the full repair, but I opted to start with just the FICM repair at $1,200 to manage costs. This repair was completed, but upon retrieval, the truck's symptoms remained unchanged--it did not resolve the power loss problem. Additionally, when I picked up the truck after this first repair, I discovered that my T-Mobile vehicle tracker was missing. After inquiring, a service employee and I searched the parking lot, where I found the device scratched and lying on the ground. This was unacceptable handling of my personal property, but I chose not to escalate it at the time in hopes of resolving the main issue. After saving additional funds, I returned the truck on for the injector repair. At this point, I was informed that the cost for the injectors had increased beyond the original quote, which was disappointing given my efforts to budget. I requested a discount and was offered approximately $500 off. However, shortly after agreeing, I received a call stating that additional parts--such as gaskets and other minor components--were required, further increasing the bill. These items should have been anticipated and included in the initial estimate, especially since the repair involved opening valve covers and similar work where reusing old parts would be impractical. The fluctuating prices felt like an attempt to maximize charges, with the estimate changing multiple times in a short period. Despite the escalating costs, I agreed to proceed to get my truck operational. The final amount I paid was just under $7,000 for the combined repairs, an exorbitant sum that could have purchased a replacement vehicle. Upon arriving to pick up the truck after the injector repair, the quoted price had increased yet again beyond what was last discussed. After paying, I waited over an hour only to be informed that my vehicle keys had been misplaced, and new keys would need to be made. This delay meant I could not take possession of my truck as expected. Shocked by this additional incompetence, I requested a refund, but received conflicting responses: initially, I was told a refund could not be processed without my card or physical presence, only for the answer to change moments later. The pattern of lost items (first the tracker, then the keys) raises serious concerns about how my vehicle and engine were handled during the repairs. If personal belongings were treated so carelessly, it calls into question the quality of the mechanical work performed. The entire experience resembled a high-pressure sales tactic rather than reliable service, with inconsistent pricing, poor communication, and substandard customer care. I feel exploited, especially as the initial FICM repair proved ineffective, and the overall process has left me without a functional resolution proportional to the cost. I request the following resolutions: 1. A full refund of the $7,000 paid for these repairs. 2. Reimbursement for any additional expenses incurred.

The customer service was horrible, the salesmen were just going over what they rehearse and the sale manager is a joke. I walked in and said "i want to buy the Used 2016 subaru wrx, ive owned one before, i built it into a racecar with an added 150hp, in which, i did 80% of the work myself. I dont care whats wrong with the vehicle, ill buy it today, right now if the numbers line up" The first sales man kept pressing me to look at the car... "but have you seen this one?" After telling him i wanted to speak to someone higher up cuz i dont need to be sold on something im set on buying, the second salesman, Jose, says "the price is firm". I talk to the financial manager and he gives me excatly the numbers i wanted. Was easy money. The financial manager, Sergio had the sale, but i walked away to come back the next day with a mechanic because that seemed to easy for me to talk them down thousands. We popped the hood and that dealership is straight liars, saying the car is "certified". I was gonna purchase it before i even popped the hood. After looking under the hood, battery was leaking acid on the fire wall with massive corrosionon the terminals, oil leaks in 3 different major spots, radiator replaced, strut mounts are blown out, had a cobb accessport previously installed which alters the ECU program, and so much more. Basically, This car was beat to the last inch of its working life.... and the sales manager said it was certified by their mechanic. Im telling you right now, they are ripping you off and selling bad vehicles. I made a video out of all the problems. I still want to buy the car with the problems but im not out of spite for the staff. Furthermore, I talked to the sales manager and explained my frustrations and he laughed at me and said, "sounds like we like the car more than you do," after they had already ran my credit to buy the vehicle and everything. Im looking to buy a corvette also, i was just looking at the WRX to drive back and fourth to work. But they lost the easiest sale on that WRX and a future sale on the Corvette. Thousand Oak Chevrolet took car of me. I love my new corvette also. Dicks.
